自從一年前試過這裡的蠔仔粥,在外面吃其他餐廳的,都總覺得不是那回事。這裡的蠔仔粥,粥底濃郁鮮甜,又有大地魚香,蠔仔更是粒粒豐腴飽滿,每羹粥都吃到兩三粒,完全吃不停口。重點是,吃完完全不會口渴,證明味精不多(如果有落),是真材實料的味道!這裡的鵝件比鵝片出色,柔潤美味。(鵝片吃過幾次也無甚印象)至於韮菜豬紅也是每次必點,豬紅嫩滑入味。雖然炸蠔餅不是我杯茶,但也香脆可口兼大大份,蠔仔份量也給得極大方,絕不手軟,十分抵食。…Read More

來過兩次,印象不錯,雖然不是十分出色,但想吃新加坡菜的時候,來這裡的確可以止止癮。第一次來是吃肉骨茶和咖哩雞。肉骨茶可以無限添湯,味道不過不失,應有的蒜味胡椒味也有,但不夠濃和辣。但是咖哩雞卻令人十分驚喜,味道有層次、辣香撲鼻、肉質嫩滑,送飯一流。第二次來試點新的,就挑了咖哩麵和古滑雞飯。但咖哩麵相比咖哩雞,絕對令人失望……湯頭香卻不濃,拌入了湯匙上的辣醬也仍然不辣。但鋪面的炸蔥頭的確香脆可口。至於古滑雞飯,千萬不要誤會是海南雞飯。淋上醬汁的雞件相對較濃味,雖然沒那麼滑,但肉香搭夠,蘸點酸辣醬就超級開胃!另外,本來是雞油飯,但我換成了白飯,不過相信油飯會更香口~最後是每次來必點的肉桂奶茶,又滑又香肉桂味,喝完全身都暖呼呼的。怕甜的話,點少甜就剛剛好了。…Read More

以清酒和串燒為主打、值得推介的一家居酒屋,好像新開張沒多久。清酒除了可以像平常地點一合,店裡也有推出3杯+1客小食的set,又可以單點60ml,對喜歡多試幾款或者酒量淺的人來說,簡直是福音。另外我們也點了免治雞肉串,但肉質比較像切碎了的雞肉,所以是無法整串取起、而是會散掉的。不過,可以吃得出是自家製而不是來貨,黑椒洋蔥的味道很突出,十分美味。有生雞蛋是一大加分位!工作人員十分友善,會很有耐性地按客人的口味推介清酒。雖然店面比較小,但氣氛很舒服,不會很吵,是適合兩三個人去聊天的地方。…Read More

素聞大公館的中菜做得相當出色,最近又劃出一部份成Cadenza,供應意大利菜。與友人二人晚餐,中菜分量太多,便選了Cadenza,來個初相遇。先吃蠔,前後點了共6隻,味道鮮美。第一次試Sydney Rock,金屬味重,強烈回甘,是可以encore 之選。但可以想像,當這頓晚餐最出色的便是蠔,我們有多失望了......接下來的是黑松露糰配牛肝菌醬。薯糰口感不算煙韌,但也是軟滑綿密,但黑松露的香味不夠突出,整道菜就變得面目模糊。接著上桌的是Australian Rib Eye,跟其他食評相片賣相大相逕庭。尤其是一看到沒有烤紋,心裡便已經一沉。雖然牛扒肉質本身軟嫩、富油脂香,但煎得不夠焦香,已是一大敗筆。最失望的是Tiramisu,拆解成「零件」,即使將不同部分一起放進口,味道還是一樣分割。我和友人都忍不住嘆道:還是傳統的好吃。另外還點了2杯cocktail、1杯mocktail,埋單盛惠每位五百多元。一言蔽之,下次來還是吃中菜吧。…Read More

每次假日經過ikea的餐廳,一看到那條長龍便會打退堂鼓,但男友說很想試,便一起排隊吧,沒想到人雖然多,但其實人流去得很快。點了三文魚沙律。沙律醬很像千島醬,煙三魚不算太鹹,加分,但沒甚麼特別。本來想試燒牛肉,但看很多人都點了燒雞,便試一下吧!反正又不是很貴。當然少不了招牌肉丸啦。老實說,在點之前呢,是很猶豫好不好點燒春雞的,因實在中過太多次伏──雞肉又乾又柴又不入味,就算是中高價位的餐廳,也出過事。不過!ikea的燒春雞出乎意料地沒有這個問題。櫃台的廚師(?)在我們點餐後,把春雞從加熱的錫盤中,倒進圖中膠盤,再淋上烹調時釋出的油脂醬汁,令燒春雞的外皮保持濕潤。雞肉非常入味,連雞皮吃的話,香草味更濃。而且肉大多是滑嫩juicy,又不會軟爛。連伴碟的蔬菜都不會太生,是略調味過,煮得剛好。如果要挑剔的話,就是雞胸部份有點老,很難嚼。但不到100元就吃到燒春雞,要求又真的不能太高啊!至於肉丸呢,蘸上果醬吃就很無敵了。不過就是微溫。另外,2個人吃完燒春雞,再吃15粒肉丸,其實真的很膩,強烈建議大家不要效法。但話說回頭,說飽說飽,甜品是不得不吃的。吃完上面兩道主菜後,我們二人望著這個蘋果批都面有難色。誰料叉一口放進口,咦!竟然不是想像中的厚重牛油批!要形容的話,批底大概就是偏乾身的蛋糕/消化餅碎的質感,是很light的。加上酸咪咪的蘋果肉,和肉桂香,不經不覺便一口口清碟了!另外還加了豆漿,是香港本土製的,豆味香濃又不甜,超滿足。…Read More

寫在開首,如果是想吃晚餐,兼鮮到不行的刺身、熱辣燙口的串燒,這裡注定叫人失望。但如果僅僅是喝點小酒、吃點東西,在happy hour 輕鬆一下,這裡就十分稱職。因為這次跟朋友去是吃晚餐,所以我是有點失望的。雖然已經沒點大家都說是gimmick的自己包壽司,但其他菜式也不見得出色很多。我們先點了3杯drinks。(每杯約100元起。)但最好喝的竟是on house的 jasmine blossoms。一開始沒點是怕味道會很假,又怕甜,誰知道是很柔和清新的茉莉香味。不得不讚。而且加了蛋白,又很creamy,非常特別。沒甚麼特別的吞伴魚卷。反而之後點的辣三文魚卷(沒拍照),是出乎意料的好吃。其實吃不出辣味,但香,加上topping用上了薯片,口感更有趣。三文魚他他伴番薯片,是有趣的。但魚味淡(不是魚腩),調味也淡,不是不好吃,但又不算出色。串燒叫了雞翼、冬菇、五花腩、雞肉棒。味道呢,是不錯。問題是不夠熱,就已經減50分了。雞肉棒調味極好,是唯一值得點的串燒。我們吃完還再加點了。還未飽便加個和牛炒飯。朋友就有鵝肝,但我是吃不出來的。除了這樣,這個倒是不錯吃。最後餐廳給我們每人送了一杯清酒,很好喝,如果下次再去會點。…Read More

看完莫奈展,想吃日本菜,上網找了找附近的日本餐廳,便看中了這間。一進門,侍應小姐遞給我們的點菜紙,一張有字,一張有蔥......不過她已忙不迭道歉,心裡也知道這裡是街坊小店,所以其實就沒放在心。一坐下先點了熱清酒,再來試試拉麵加半熟溫泉蛋;看到串燒好吸引,又叫了燒雞皮和雞肉棒;再加了芝士年糕向忌廉薯餅。另外還點了三文魚腩和劍魚腩刺身,過過口癮。先說拉麵,其實味道是不錯,湯也很濃,敗筆卻是湯不夠熱......真的就是溫的,麵也是溫的。溫泉蛋是另外上,但是冷的,就真的是剛從雪櫃取出那種冷。蛋是好吃的,半熟流心,有點酒味,但冷冰冰的真的......吃不慣。燒雞皮脆卜卜,好吃,用上鹽粷調味,味道剛剛好。雞肉棒也好吃,有軟骨碎,口感豐富。果然串燒才是這裡的拿手好戲。刺身好普通,要讚的就是沒有雪味。完。炸物沒拍照,但熱辣辣,炸得剛剛剛,是推介的。不過這樣吃了4百幾蚊,又真的覺得有點overpriced。…Read More

要在鬧市中找一間坐得舒適、食物ok、價格合理、氣氛輕鬆的餐廳,真的不是想像中容易。有時候只想跟友人坐久一點,聊一下天,看到店外的長龍或店員的臉色,也會自覺不好意思。不過呢,這間店名獨得的「神經餵飼」就可以滿足所有要求!先說食物。因為店家以「飯堂」定位自己,所以不玩花巧、噱頭,就是認真用心的煮出正常的食物。雖然不會有驚艷之感,但吃得出沒有味精,而且份量絕不欺場,吃上去就是天然不造作的滋味。這次點的是鰻魚蓋飯和彩椒肉腸飯,還有甜品的宇治金時配窩夫。相對兩道飯,甜品真的比較出色。抹茶雪糕的味道香濃不過甜,配上軟糯的白玉丸,和紅豆蓉,很快就被吃得一乾二淨!美中不足的是雪粽有點冰渣,咬下去咯嚓咯嚓的,不夠軟滑呢。不算題外話之,這裡算是半self serve的,先在櫃檯點餐、取餐具,然後店員就會把餐點送上。不過,來到這邊就別想著要好服務了,(就我觀察所得)店員們雖然不會粗聲粗氣,但大部份也沒有笑容;雖然問問題會答,但不會主動問客人有甚麼需要。習不習慣這種態度,就要看自己了~…Read More

佐敦渡船角一帶佈滿串燒店,每次路過總會被燒烤香引得心癢難耐。但曾試過該處兩間餐廳都不合口味,便變得興味索然。誰料某夜在看完電影後路過,剛好肚子在打鼓,又看到這間的網上食評反應不錯,便索性進內一探究竟,結果竟然叫人喜出望外。話說香港有些串燒店,會為了掩蓋食材的不新鮮和無味,而在燒烤時大量灑下香料、味精和辣粉。吃完串燒後要灌上一瓶水解渴,也不是甚麼罕見事。但川燒在這方面掌握得比較好,即使調味偏濃厚,但起碼仍然吃得出食材的味道。當中的﹒燒白鱔、燒手打免治雞肉丸和蜀都炒飯尤為出色。至於其他燒物也新鮮熱辣,味道不俗。先來的開胃菜有燒飛魚子香腸,帶點甜味和台式的感覺,沒甚麼特別。接著的紐西蘭大蘑菇味道較淡,但熱辣多汁,店家也體貼地準備了刀叉方便進食。燒白鱔甘腴肥美,雪白的魚肉刷上微甜的醬油,令人食指大動。至於爽歪歪魚皮川香味,魚皮原本沒甚麼味道,勝在麻香味十足,辣倒是不辣,送啤酒應該一流。燒手打免治雞肉丸的質感較「實淨」,咬下去彷彿吃到打碎了的軟骨。雖然好吃,但醬汁太多太濃,有點喧賓奪主。川香肉碎燒茄子的味道特別,淋面的配料較油,香料味重,但不麻不辣。燒特製雞中翼油香逼人,簡單地好吃。燒鯖魚的魚皮燒得香脆,擠上點檸檬汁,便是豐腴不膩的美味。蜀都炒飯看似簡簡單單,沒甚麼特別,厲害之處就在於它麻、香、辣齊備,米飯粒粒分明,愛辣之人不能錯過。我們明明飽到捧住肚子,還是掃得清光。最後來個清甜的菠蘿雪芭,清清味蕾,為這夜的晚飯畫下完美句點。…Read More

‪最近常常找機會去吃西班牙菜,歸根究底都是為了吃「西班牙油炸鬼」Churros。對我來說其他的都是陪襯(?)因為我其實不太愛重口味食物,而西班牙的tapas經常是鹹香食物加上油炸。不過這間位於荔枝角的Rustico卻令我對西班牙菜刮目相看。頭盤的炸西班牙青椒帶淡淡鹽味,卻不死鹹,吃得到青椒的原味,重點是一點都不辣呢!雖然是油炸,卻竟然有點清爽。再來的生西班牙紅蝦薄片,一上桌已令人眼前一亮,像透了一幅水彩畫。鮮味的甜蝦,伴上特製醬汁、番茄粒、果仁和香草,構成多重口感,味道引人入勝。炸雞肉火腿忌廉球香濃惹味,外層的炸衣酥脆不膩。叉子一插進去,內裡的忌廉餡便緩緩流出,點上蛋黃醬吃更為美味。主菜的西班牙海鮮飯 (Seafood Paella)不過不失,材料有大蝦、青口、蠔仔、魷魚、蜆,飯煮得軟硬適中,但海鮮味不算特別濃。不過材料用上了鮮嫩的蠔仔,倒是生色不少。不得不說整餐最出色的,是兩道甜品-- Churros 和 Bailey's Foam。先說churros,暫時算是我在香港吃過最「對版」的了。炸得外脆內軟,灑上肉桂粉和砂糖,一上桌時熱辣辣香噴噴,叫人顧不上儀態,馬上蘸上附上的chocolate mousse和vanilla ice-cream,鯨吞一條。雖然不是傳統的朱古力醬,但一冷一熱的對比,也十分新鮮好吃。至於Bailey's Foam,上層Bailey's味道的泡沫,中層混進了餅乾碎,下層是vanilla ice-cream,有點像變奏版tiramisu。男友讚不絕口:「泡沫奶滑得像自己溜進喉嚨裡。」有沒有那麼誇張,便要嘗嘗才知道了。…Read More
