經已多年未有光顧南歐房子,皆因近年食物水準與收費成反比例數年前,一個set dinner收$138,但無論主菜樣式變化、味道、服務質素,均不值這價錢記得有一次,更被食客投訴以羊肉取代豬肉,圖以混水摸魚,其水準可見一斑易手經營後,生意漸改善,餐牌價錢也變得較大眾化,於是吸引了我嘗試回流光顧論食物質素,坦白說只屬尚可,未及全盛時期由外藉老闆打理的水準餐湯、頭盤三文魚沙律、法式焗田螺算是中規中舉,唯一較值驚喜反而是沙律份量較我預備的大份 鐵板牛扒餐,牛扒質素僅比快餐店的鐵板牛扒為佳至於我從前必叫的香草燒乳豬,則有點令我失望。乳豬皮尚算脆,但太多肥膏,口感太肥膩,而且香草味欠奉,失卻昔日的葡式香草燒乳豬風味… 噢!不對!現時餐牌上經已沒有「葡式」這兩個字,我不應將她與過往的葡式香草燒乳豬比較,反而她有點似中式燒味店的燒乳豬…兩款甜品木糠蛋糕、蘋果金寶,則仍屬水準之作。尤其剛剛焗製的蘋果金寶,既帶出這份蘋果批的酥香,又不失蘋果本身的果甜;配上花奶,更覺美味餐牌價錢的變化,顯得這間餐廳漸懂生存之道從前餐牌十年如日,只有一款set dinner,一份餐湯、一份頭盤或沙律、一杯餐前紅酒、一份主菜、一份甜品、一杯餐飲,一律收你一百三十八圓正可是,在這個中產區商場,一般中產食客也未至於豪爽到餐餐晚膳也花費百多元吧?改革後的餐牌,無論價錢、款式也較從前的大眾化。無論較粗製濫造的鐵板餐,或從前走較高檔路線的食物如馬介休球、西班牙炒飯,任均選擇假如覺得份量不太夠,付多十數元叫一客頭盤也可,甚至付多三元主菜跟飯或意粉也可。無須從前般不論你是否吃得下,一律收你一百三十八圓正現時的南歐,沒有了昔日西葡風味,但食客、生意反而增加最少她也給我一點吸引力,當想吃西餐時考慮下再光顧吧?…Read More

行過牛陣,也許被店內傳出陣陣的牛肉香味所吸引,所以決定一試況且牛陣開業年多,越來越旺場,連尖沙咀也開了分店儘管需要輪候一會,也在所不惜要入內一試等了約30分鐘,坐定後叫了兩份$118的基本牛肉套餐店員落單時,刻意提醒我們限時90分鐘牛陣嚴格執行食客限時,我之前已略有所聞,所以我們一行二人一落場已經把握時間…… 而且,要爭取時間吃任食的Häagen-Dazs雪糕呢店員先送上一碟牛肉、一碟豬肉,再加上出去bar枱任夾了一些蔬菜、豆腐有一點很奇怪的,第一碟送上的牛肉,牛味十足,味道鮮美可是,我們吃完後再添的第二碟,質素好像被比下去了… 肉質較粗糙豬肉就更不理想,豬肉唔夠滑之餘,更有些軟骨沒有除去,好明顯是較粗糙、質素參差的豬肉但牛陣是賣牛肉出名的,豬肉不太行,也尚可接受吧?但無論如何,今餐的牛肉、豬肉、蔬菜火鍋,在限時下速速吃完,的確是幾飽幾豐富的最後,當然是出去排隊輪候Häagen-Dazs雪糕我出去排隊時,約晚上8:50,在場不少食客也剛剛吃完,所以排隊輪候雪糕的人也不少場內任食雪糕只有四款,朱古力、士多啤利、咖啡、香蕉較受歡迎的朱古力、士多啤利味當然比人一早陶光啦整體來說,這餐火鍋是過得去的,牛肉質素不太差,只是豬肉差了些少任食任夾的食物種類算OK,除了蔬菜,也有烏冬、粉絲、各款肉丸、米飯、以至各款火鍋必備的菜色衡量其收費、限時等因素,給她一個OK吧?!…Read More

祥利冰室,一間我早已想光顧的舊式冰室傳出結業的消息,才急急到訪一次直至撰寫本文時,祥利已經結業半個多月了……一副六七十年代的裝潢,看似幾簡陋破舊的陳設,對一般人而言,除了懷舊二字,這冰室實不太吸引現代人又怎樣不會選擇坐得舒舒服服的餐室,而選擇這些上個世紀的冰室呢?但對我來說,單是「懷舊」已經值回票價了,而且這更是不少電影取景之地呢懷舊,是其陳設---老爺的收銀機、傳統的閣樓樓梯設計、歷次可樂罐可樂樽的擺設、以至需要每天撕去的日曆,均充滿六七十年代的氣色懷舊,是其食物---很少餐室還會提供樽裝可樂,菜蜜這種只能在舊式餐室才能找到的飲品…… 尤其是那份量十足的公司三文治,火煺、蛋、午餐肉、酸瓜,大大份,抵食,只是這種舊式冰室才找到這種落足本的份量論食物的質素,反而未能令我留下太深刻的印象以公司三文治計,份量雖十足,但味道卻未見突出… 畢竟只是公司三文治,又如何可以變得突出呢?再論雪菜肉絲公仔麵配香腸、煎蛋,味道也是普普通通今次是第一次光顧,也是最後一次光顧我所吃的,不是她出品的質素,而是感受她的懷舊與氣氛看見她臨結業前食客的紛紛慕名光顧,連電視台也派員採訪大做專題報導莫非香港人真的要面臨失去,才懂珍惜?…Read More

味吉拉麵館是一間仿傳統日式的拉麵館,佈置、格局是參考日本較舊式的傳統拉麵店。就連提供的飲料,也是日式傳統拉麵店的冰紅茶,而非綠茶味吉也以「博物館」作招徠,餐桌上擺放了一些拉麵歷史、拉麵種類的簡介的確為店內增添了一種書卷味,但以此號稱「博物館」,則有點誇張叫了一碗特濃豬骨湯底叉燒拉麵、一碗特濃豬骨湯底豬軟骨拉麵豬骨湯底肴得幾香濃,豬骨味從湯本身散發出來,被拉麵充分吸收了,成為這碗拉麵的靈魂,難怪這款湯底叫「特濃」吧?兩碗拉麵均鋪上一塊紫菜,但不是鋪在湯麵上,而是放在碗側,以免紫菜被湯浸濕薄切的叉燒,肉質鮮美可口,與我們日常吃到的日式叉燒差不多豬軟骨口感反而有點似中國叉燒,肉質口感有點意外的實,不是平時吃開豬軟骨的軟淋。儘管如此,碗內數塊的豬軟骨吸收了特濃豬骨湯底的香濃,味道也是十分不錯拉麵本身夠爽口彈牙,加上吸收了特濃豬骨湯的精華,令拉麵更香最後唔多夠喉,叫多一份牛肉沙律,牛肉新鮮嫩口,算是唔錯的埋單找數只是百多元,以拉麵的質素、店內的裝潢計算,屬值得光顧再試的…Read More

假日晚市光顧大戶屋,如果不需要等位才是奇蹟吧?今次我約晚上7:15抵達,須等候15張枱樓面顯示下一張票是88號,而我的輪候號碼是103號見有點時間剩,便離開一會到旁邊的吉之島逛一逛逛了15分鐘,見個顯示屏才是跳到93號。但突然心血來潮跑回大戶屋門口,向店員查詢一下…. 才發現下一個號碼便是103,為甚府顯示屏仍沒有更新呢?我差點兒被這顯示屏騙倒了!看來負責安排入座的職員,要好好留意這點了今次依舊叫了一個熱烏冬炸雞扒飯定食、一個滑蛋豬扒飯定食炸雞扒依然是香脆可口,烏冬仍是爽口彈牙,湯烏冬的清湯也是如舊的清甜可口…… 看似今晚叫的食物水準保持,但當我吃第一口滑蛋豬扒飯時,飯卻是變了……從前大戶屋所選用的,是比較煙韌的日本米,是格外的吸引食客添吃多一兩碗飯可是,今天所用的降格成普通的泰國米,口感變得普通…… 也失卻了那種誘惑你吃多一兩碗飯的感覺儘管如此,我也添了兩次飯,吃了三大碗白飯呢無論如何,撇除白飯級數降了格外,熱湯烏冬、炸雞扒飯、滑蛋豬扒飯均仍是頗高質素的埋單找數才是一百七十多元,仍算是超值的…Read More
