今日晚餐買咗一個肉碎套餐，木瓜沙律剩係得辣味並沒有甜味，木瓜絲非常乾同埋沒有撈醬料得。自取完成物需要自己撈勻，所以辣椒主要放在木瓜條上。例湯沒有自然雞湯味道。肉碎飯唔辣同埋比較乾，亦沒有應有的香葉，鹹味比較重，味道最近中式蠔油炒肉碎。另外，加了個魚餅，味道非常之鹹。放在白飯上的煎蛋係應該整個套餐最好食的食物，煎得不會太熟，不會燶。白飯飯身相對嚟講比較硬。整個套餐實物同店舖的相片出入比較大，整體嚟講失望。…Read More

除咗可以望住個海坐喺室外食嘢之外，其實都冇乜好說話可言。梳化上面有勁多狗毛。如果對狗毛有敏感嘅朋友，要小心。琵琶豆腐$128竟然係冇汁而勁多味精，食完好口渴。海膽梅菜豬油撈飯$88好少飯，而海膽唔新鮮。脆皮小籠包$68, 個皮非常之厚同埋冇汁（3粒）。除咗個黑金雪山包（菠蘿包）（3個）個麵包非常軟硬好食之外都冇乜其他野係值得讚。整體來講啲份量都非常之少。女服務員連有海膽豬油撈飯都唔知，質疑客人所提及嘅餸菜。不會再去食飯！…Read More

食物一般服務極差。星期六午餐時段需要排隊。當下一張枱排到我哋時、店員話張吉枱係有人坐嘅，但係其實一直都冇人坐。我地食完之後該張枱都係冇人坐。完全冇理由之下等左30分鐘。紅燒牛肉麵個湯底係基本上冇味。牛肉整體來講都幾硬。鹽酥雞扒好大塊但係冇鹽酥味。滷肉飯個味都幾好但係就唔夠滷肉覆蓋啲白飯。但係餐廳好嘅地方就係如果幸運可以坐門口嘅話就可以對住河景同山景食飯！不過未食已經開始勞氣，一直怒氣到走。服務極差！…Read More

The chicken and noodles was bathed in a very rich and thick chicken stock. The noodles absorbed a lot of the rich flavours from the stock. The chucks of vegetables provided something to chew on. The chewiness and softness of the bread and pizza reflects the oven custom-made from Italy. The pappardelle was home-made and the chewiness and freshness were all too apparent. The mushroom risotto was pretty much tailored for an asian audience with the rice cooked on the softer side and the cheese flavour just right without being overpowering. This restaurant is really about home-cooking, Taiwanese style. The pork rice （控肉飯）was made up of a large piece of tender pork belly. But the sauce was a bit bland. The broth for the beef noodles (紅燒牛肉麵）was slightly spicy but lacked beef flavour. It only had two slices of beef shank which was unnecessarily little. The chicken wings with pork rice came in a very generous portion. The chicken wings was bathed in a 'Swiss sauce' and it was so sweet that it overpowered the underlying soya sauce. But the chicken wings was very fat and juicy. The pork was also very tender but it tasted exactly the same as the chicken wings probably because the same sauce was used. The steamed rice with chicken feet and pork ribs (鳳爪排骨）was traditionally prepared in that it was made with pig 🐷 oil. It added an extra layer of flavour to the rice. The soya sauce was very rich and concentrated. The pork ribs were very tender. On the other hand, the pork feet with ginger （古法豬腳薑）was a bit of a disappointment in that the 2 eggs in it were so well cooked that it would most likely have been steamed for a very long period of time. The soup base was very aromatic with a strong beef flavour. The "beef demon" ($60) was a bit pricey but included ox tongue, beef stomach. The ox tongue had first been pan fried with black and white pepper before being placed into the soup. That really enhanced the aroma and flavour. The beef stomach was not outstanding. It wasn't nearly as good as the beef shank ($45) as it was very tender and the beef flavour was prominent. Both noodles were very chewy and deserves a revisit in the near future! …Read More

We ordered the rice pocket （扎肉蒸粉包）and was a tasty and mixed very well with the meat on top ($48). The butter and garlic on the chicken wings overpowered the chicken meat ($42). The soup base for the beef pho was a bit too sweet but the pho couldn't otherwise be faulted at $52. Lastly, the lemongrass beef was a bit of a surprise as the beef seemed to resemble jerky beef ($55). Overall, a very good value for the money. We ordered item No.8 on the menu, Raw Steak and Flank with pho in extra large portion ($90) along with appetiser platter ($98) for two. Particularly the pho, it was a major disappointment. The soup was not hot enough and it took a very long time for the raw beef to cook. After the waiting, we tried the flank steak and it was so tough that it couldn't be bitten through, ie felt like leather. We asked the waitress if we could have something else in substitute and she explained that it's due the the part of the beef. After some persistence, we got her to give us some flank steak and although it could be bitten through, the centre was cold. Aside from the portion size, it doesn't remind me of the pho I had in Canada as advertised. However, the shrimp cake was good. But generally, a real disappointment for a Friday evening. 🙄…Read More

I think the restaurant is slightly understaffed but considering the restaurant is fairly new, it's not something that is not excusable. When it comes to beef and value for money, this has got to be the place go. Had the rib-eye for $258 and the portion was much more generous than expected considering it's a steakhouse in HK. The desserts could use some upgrading in terms of size considering it's a steakhouse. The NY cheesecake is not so NY when it came to size.Anyhow, great overall and will revisit.…Read More

My 2nd visit to this restaurant was completely different than from my first visit 1 week before. We went as a party fo 6 for dinner. We ordered the Beef Shabu Shabu, some $400 + for 2 people. My friends ordered 2 Tonkatsu, fried oysters, sashimi rice, and chicken & egg rice. While we waited for the food to come, the staff gave us extra spoons. Mine had a sesame stuck on it, and I asked the staff to give me a new spoon. When the Manager delivered the metal pot for the shabu shabu at our table, we noticed that there were lots of food stains from previous clients. We again asked the Manager to give us a new one and we were met with 2 reactions by the Manager: 1) there's nothing wrong with the pot; 2) her eyes rolled away giving us an attitude that we are somehow troubling her. Anyhow, when the 'new' pot came, there were still food stains. So we cancelled the shabu shabu and ordered Beef rice for $68 and upgraded to a set for extra HK$68. The fried oysters, sashimi rice and chicken & egg rice came. Then the Beef rice. After all this time, my friends' Tonkatsu never came. We ended up cancelling the Tonkatsu and left. I'm not sure how within 1 week of opening, the restaurant has degraded in quality in both food and service. Strongly not recommended!!
