Chaat is apparently quite popular. However, the reservation system needs improvements at Chaat.The restaurant opens only in the evening Wednesday to Sunday, so if you call at non-opening hours, your line will be transferred to the general reservation line. The general reservation line is busy most of the times. On average I have to call 7-10 times for someone to pick up. 🤨 Maybe Rosewood cute staff given of current COVID situation in HK? I like the idea that it’s a bit hidden, kinda like a speakeasy except it’s really not that difficult to find. Ok food (could be that I’m not into loads of sauces, I don’t like sweet food and many of the sauces are kinda sweet). We sat at the tall table, it was comfortable. I came here with mom on Monday 20 Apr for lunch at 12:15. There wasn’t a line so we were seated pretty quickly. Seats and tables were far apart so it was comfortable. I felt that the restaurant was a bit understaff so the staff didn’t really serve us with a smile and didn’t walk us through the menu. I’ve been to its TST branch many years ago and visited the Admiralty branch few months ago. From the last time I visited the Admiralty branch, I just can’t forget how good the food was so I had to go back again today, with my family. I am especially particular when eating with my family as I always want to provide the best to them, and they deserve it. Overall, very good food and decent service.
