閒日行街經過，有三位女店員。收銀姐姐落錯單。中年女店員同我講已經整好左，我話我唔係落呢個野飲佢先施施然去整。等左十五分鐘，佢同另一位女店員係後面睇張recipe 睇左十分鐘。我已經開始覺得伏。中年女店員整整下去左後面storeroom ，整跌左放角落既清潔用品。佢用準備野食，帶手套既手拎廚房紙抹地下（地下係漏出黎既洗潔精漂白水），之後佢就清潔自己衣服，我杯野飲就放左喺出邊備料區。之後佢仍然冇洗手，用地拖拖完地再打算完成我杯野。我叫停然後叫佢退錢。好難想像呢位中年女店員點樣整飲品比人。…Read More

Seems that I haven't been OR for quite a long time,The fact is:Heavy workload plus the holiday mess my life upThe second day of summer break,I treated my skin a hot sunbath with unlimited Vitamin D,then I joined Nat for our dinner.We both long for our alcohol suppliment,so we decided to have an oyster feast with wine.I bookmarked this oyster bar weeks ago,we ordered seafood platter with urchin.The soup and veggie arrived,they said the chef treated us free(Yes I knew this free starter from OR,but it costs $38 in menu)We add $10 for the fine de special,as I remember one of the others is coffin bay ,aussie oysters,me and nat are pleased with the "salty" one rather than the creamy one.Sea urchin is good,creamy and freshI love the deep fried prawn head,the shells are just fair,maybe the fault of those fresh oysters lolWe order a recommanded chardonny , fruity and light,best for seafoodto my surprise,in SOHO there is only a few places for oysters,but the targeted customers are well fitted here,Middle classes,or I can say wealthy.Willing to try out new stuffs.That's why this Oyster bar rank high in OR.It's the fact,they derserve.The service is extremely well,the waiter and waitress are friendly and niceOverall,it's one of my sweetest dining exiperence in the summer…Read More

把chemistry KO後要對自己好一點,回家換了衣服就決定直落一嘗這間想試了一段時間的al bistro因想飲白酒,估點了有main的set lunch是日反高潮的想吃魚,點了比目魚做mainfree salad bar有美味的bread stick cube,lettcure,cherry tomatoes和blue cheese dressing!是平日bafflao wings點西芹的dressing!surprise!bread在飲湯時嘗了一點,美味的,可是在美食當前比下去了湯是美味creamy的pumpkin soup,有心的餐廳,湯也做得好main的比目魚更是嫩得不得了,cream sauce對味而引出魚鮮,side的德國酸菜不相干但好吃女經理服務一級棒,會問意見又主動拿pepper來最後chocolate mousse cake是一個完美結束蛋糕和mousse比例好.連咖啡,也是我飲過的餐茶中最好,還用熱鮮奶上.完全不給你找骨頭的機會lunch$100,絕對超值知道有如斯一間好餐廳在學校左近,縱然不會時時有銀根有時間食.但也感到開心,keep it up!…Read More

Just like what gaga said in "telephone" MV,"once you killed a cow;u gotta make a burger"Many chances are now or ever.After having my relax at cafe lavande,we decided to go for our burger,I'm not a burger lover,instead I haven't been to any fastfood shop for months after I saw the movie "Food INC",which scared me by the fact of those food industries untouchable secrets.But I found myself quite eager on trying bisto in soho,even on burger.So since the monster burger has KO by us already,we went to shake'em buns.It was on Tuesday,only few people were having their fast dinner,but more are just kill time(?!) in a fastfood shop,playing bridge,texting sms.We ordered "crushin' for the pushin' " , since both of us prefer beer than milkshake,we added french fries only instead of combo.It was 7:35pm when I ordered our beer,the stuff was so nice that he counted as HH charge for them,corona and guiness.Which is supposed to charged more after 7:30pm straight,but to my suprise, he seemed not that familiar with the menu,when I ordered "crushin' for the pushin' he asked whether the burger is made up by only meat patty,cheese and so(by cantonese),I mean,yes of course you will speak in chinese,heck I hate people talking to me in English even in soho if you were a chinese.To a large extend I really respect my mother language and think people should proud of their language.But in this case,I justed realized he was not that familiar with it at all.At the age of 18 or early 20s he was just elder than be by years or three.Yet once I've dreamed of working somewhere in SOHO as a stuff,no doubt,your English will improved by such stmosphere.I just realized the possibilities of really working there.Boy improved yourself soon,you really encouraged me to strike a try on those bisto(since you would never find job advs on usual website in HK)Back to our topic,the burger arrived soon with fresh meat patty,veggies,cheese and two hot bunsThe most attractive is the thick meat patty,I must confess that to judge whether a burger tastes good or not,they are really based on how big,how fresh and how hot it was.If it met the requirments above,it was nearly perfect then.We shared a burger with cold beers.The crispy taste of the side of buns,fresh veggies and the bravo meat patty favored us,but please,I can't imagine what if people drink milkshake with burger,they are just TOOOOO heavy!After the standard french fries just the same as those in burger king,we were fed up nearly 80%! 跟N小姐soho狂歡station three酒飲過,套"甜魔"食家前輩們所說:甜胃未滿足我倆咖啡精的咖啡胃未滿足.趁2230.fuel早收了,於是去rex吧rex有signature espresso我的咖啡為零酒精其間的replacement,跟yoghurt一樣N的咖啡毒則深好多.故小妹算跟著老手"拍啡"點了double shot,原因只為教耐飲.N用不可置信的眼神望著我order結果呢,哈哈.她也是double我的理論是1.剛才幾杯酒落肚仲要杯杯係唔同spirit base,想強一點咖啡因鎮鎮佢小些hangover 2.幾杯酒對兩shot espesso應該-3+2=-1 -3"mole"眼訓+2"mole"提神應該仲有-1"mole"眼訓.哈哈結果,我Insomnia 了一晚................太強了吧,哈哈另點了coffee mousse cheesecake和lemontart壓肚cheesecake沒有 cheesecake味.卻有脆米花lemontart比星記味道天然.配espresso一流espresso有dry的感覺大概因炭火烘過的緣故吧,crema呈美麗的caramel顏色為咖啡.rex值得再去.也高興它為soho狂歡畫上happy fullstop.…Read More

積壓了10多篇食評於FINAL EXAM未寫.前日ko了maths.跟N小姐於soho狂歡後"的起心肝"清清偶像gaga在日前premiere了Alejandro mv,bravo,於是食下mexican food慶慶佢兩隻蒲精終於可以再和酒精續緣,興奮得要踏跳步上山坐下,點了frozen margetria,N點了blue hawaiifrozen margetria溶了後似飲無氣的tequila pop但是夠味的.看見鄰桌的老外美女們點了一pitch還真有衝動照跟,哈哈N的blue hawaii是有史以來最美味的一杯!沒有藥水味還有yoghurt香!食物則research好,要了7layers nachos好欣賞nachos的presentation平日nachos上的cheese沒有完全cover nachos,當冷卻下來,既味如嚼臘,又coat住nachos.似食"石屎"!但這裡則用aluminium foill碗上,KEEP好溫度又有大量SOUR CREAM在上,很美味!後再要了杯MOJITO和N的COSMOMOJITO,不知道是否RUM BASE,甜得似汽水COSMO的顏色好奇怪,似雪梨水有酒有肉.還沒有KO的chemistry就忘了它吧hea了兩小時,決定轉場到balalaika一飲三百杯去…Read More

自己是一個幾乎什麼也可以自己獨自完成的人看電影,遊水,看exhibitions,什至燒烤也可一個人偶然一個人的感覺很好,故找不到eatmate時自己仍向山上走hong kong has a hilly landform,這話geog堂聽了過百次但人生首次走走"hilly"的slope,感覺好實在地圖中的peel street看似一直路但實情是,是一條最小有40度slope的"長命斜"走到70號,人經上氣接下氣,自覺給很多原居民婆婆掃視過"家下o的後生真係無用"的目光我知我知,排除萬難才到達,發現門口排了人龍!看來,不小人像我一樣不介意為"食"而走過來吧.由於是日一人,也不介意坐bar位,於是15分鐘settle down點了mix girll,pouched eggs,hot chocolate w/ marshmallows一向是marshmallow怪,特別看見她的marshmallow是四大粒的令人想起the simpsons movie Ned給Bart的超勁爆hot choco後來看見有人真的照辦煮碗,但我估計要是cafe賣會達$60-70一杯吧但出來的結果是令人失望的小marshmallow!還是很多cream的hot chocolate.48一杯,我覺得...well...不太值...mix girll一上我就笑了,好像哈爾移動城堡中的巨大早餐呢!是兩件ham+兩件bacons+一條herb pork sausage+girll chicken brest+toast+ketchup beans+炒spring onions,還有pouched eggspouched eggs流心剛剛好,不枉為做brunch的餐廳最最最好味是toast,澳牛級軟熟,toast邊的cereal 好脆,dip蛋黃一流其次是ham,有蜜糖香又脆口!yummy!喜出望外的是chicken breast沒有想像中"鞋"口,反而herb味濃又多汁soso的是bacon,水準內啦沒有好油的情況反而sausage味道超淡可能我吃taiwan的太多啦,個人又是潤腸怪.....淡得要落ketchup炒spring onions有媽媽的感覺overall,雖然130有給"鬼佬呃"的感覺但吃的環境,氣氛足夠令我愛上呢區有無平租放盤?p.s.:看來要立心search一下全港最正的hot chocolate…Read More

一個人從銅鑼灣tutorial class後過來時間還只是11點.星期六的soho好寧靜,靜得像離島一樣此行目的本是brunch club但給我發現了上次失之交臂的berrygood如無意外.我應該是第一個客點了大杯,要了apple sauce,oreo和blueberrytoppings沒有crumbs多apple sauce比想像中夾,它有點像appletree 的jam一樣oreo 是普通沒有問題但blueberry卻沒有比其他店飽滿,喂喂,你不是叫berrygood的嗎?yoghurt叫了原味,奶味個人覺得太輕最愛,還是crumbs但服務是很好的…Read More
