A La Bakery 喺淘大商場開業已一段時間,除咗售賣法式麵包、蛋糕、曲奇餅外,竟然還有咸蛋和皮蛋﹗據聞喺自家農場出品;店內設有堂食,最近還推出粥品,當然要試試。之前光顧過幾次,只是買麵包,而堂食倒是第一次,堂食半自助形式,先購票,然後搵位坐低等食,白色餐桌配透明坐椅,清新簡潔,給人一種舒適閑逸感覺。我點咗個皮蛋火腿粥加十八元配熱朱咕叻,一客all day breakfast 配黑咖啡,同囡囡share食,熱朱咕叻拉咗花,真係好有誠意,而且味道濃郁;皮蛋火腿粥好綿,好有home feel,還有大大件鹹火腿,好夠味,而佐粥嘅牛角包粒,經過再度烘焙,鬆脆了很多,放入粥內浸軟,質感有點像油炸鬼,但沒有油炸鬼般油膩,哈﹗原來牛角包係可以咁食。all day breakfast不過不失,炒蛋夠滑,而餐廳用嘅係自家品牌,金澄澄嘅喜馬拉雅鹽和胡椒,金胡椒味道並不單純,還有濃濃嘅香料味,加咗金鹽和金胡椒,味道提升咗好多,馬上有驚喜。即磨咖啡的香味,總是那麼吸引。…Read More

近呢半年得寶商場改變咗好多,除咗牛下新城外,還開咗好多新食肆,商場二樓最近開咗間泰國餐廳,以車站為主題,餐廳佈置很簡樸,白色瓷磚,有點似浴室瓷磚,色tone有點暗沉,火車外型的餐廳外牆設計,門外商場走廊位還擺放了幾張用餐座位。今晚餐廳客人比較多,Reception問我介唔介意入內搭檯或選擇門外座位,我當然選了後者。在門外座位望向餐廳,好有坐在路邊攤檔看火車嘅感覺,打開餐牌,價錢合理,唔算貴,最重要嘅當然要試試質量,我點了馬拉盞炒介蘭、冬陰公(大)同炒金邊粉。首先上嘅係馬拉盞炒介蘭、唔知係咪介蘭仲未逢時,有少少起骨,雖然時值深秋;金邊粉味道適中,唔太甜,炒得又唔油膩,屬上佳之作,可惜碟頭細咗尐,兩個人食唔多夠喉;食泰國菜當然唔少得冬陰公,喺我嚟講,冬陰公簡直係整餐飯嘅靈魂,雖然今餐只得兩個人,總是要鍋大的。冬陰公用明爐上,熱辣辣,散發陣陣香茅和南薑香味,而且好足料,鍋內還有幾隻煲到出晒味嘅開邊大蝦,相信鮮甜味已溶化在濃濃的酸酸辣辣甜甜的湯中。…Read More

景皆曾經有位日藉日本餐廳店東,很少聘用本地大廚,因本地廚師很難托擺脫地道烹調觀念,不自覺地滲透其日式料理中,因而失去原有風味;日本人對料理和食用材之執著,由此可見一班。星期日出尖沙咀購物完畢,已到吃晚飯的時候,女女興致勃勃的提議到 Doraya Japanese Restaurant Doraya吃晚餐,皆因兩星期前,朋友們請她到Doraya Japanese Restaurant Doraya 慶生,回來大讚Doraya的吞拿魚蓉腩蓉鮮甜味美,值得再度回味,因而極力推介,而她當時所拍的食物照片也相當吸引,這個當然不會錯過。今天客人很多,但二人檯就不用等。定食包括茶碗蒸、前菜、沙律、味噌湯還可以加十元轉蜆湯,看來很不錯,女女照舊褐但點了海膽配藍吞拿魚腩蓉丼定食,而我點了香蔥伴藍吞拿魚腩蓉丼定食;茶碗蒸迷你版,配料充足,味道正常,只是質感略為結實和熱度不夠;藍吞拿魚腩蓉顏色偏紅,不像一般吞拿魚腩蓉的粉紅色,吃了一口,竟然伴了生洋蔥,味道勁似港式快餐店的漢堡飽;原來餐牌所指的香蔥是生洋蔥,而不是傳統的青蔥,難怪味道是那麼奇特,把傳統的味道完全顛覆了,我真有點費解,日本人著重食才原有味道,一般只會加青蔥;當初我以為把生洋蔥揀走,問題就解決了,誰知撥開表面,內裏的更不堪,魚腩蓉色澤很暗啞更呈現啡褐色,好像加了醬油似的,還有陣陣魚腥味,而白飯表面亦相當油,看來魚腩蓉的脂肪已分解,滲入了白飯。一向不喜歡浪費的我,只好撇走表層白飯,加醬油青芥末和熱茶,改做茶漬飯,但仍掩蓋不住魚腥味,吃了幾口茶漬飯,放棄了,結果還是做了大嘥鬼。女女見狀,很委屈的向我連聲說對不起。我將這種狀況分別和兩位侍應反映,但他們的答覆是:「下次可以order走洋蔥。」,「加洋蔥是要味道豐富尐」。我明白今次是個別事件,但當餐廳要設計菜單,加入新煮意而有別於傳統做法的同時,亦應在餐牌上加以說明,給顧客作出正確的選擇。事後有朋友問我,何不退回﹖跟據我過往經驗,出了狀況通常都是餐廳主動提出回收,我甚少要求退回,原因,你懂的。回到家裏,仍感到氣味縈繞,留有餘腥。…Read More

上到淘大三期最近大執位,從以前嘅一店獨大,現分拆成三間特色餐廳,當我步入二樓商場,三間特色餐廳嘅receptionists各自的遞上餐牌,很親切地介紹餐廳特色,我選擇了XOXO Café Lab,係一間台韓料理,餐廳以湖水藍作為主色調,門口擺放一個小型百子櫃,櫃上面還放了枱燈和聖誕小飾物,好有文青之家的感覺。芝士忌廉菠菜雲吞年糕,忌廉汁好creamy,韓國年糕烟烟靱靱,即台灣人所說的好「Q彈」,菠菜雲吞較特別,意大利雲吞,菠菜餡料,雲吞皮竟然似廣東鹼水雲吞皮味道,集廣意韓三家大成,果然有創意;除此之外,還有個創意菜色 ~ 抱泡鍋飯,喜歡新嘗試嘅我,當然唔會錯過,我揀咗青介抱泡鮮魷魚麵醬飯(Wasabi Bubbles Fresh Squid Rice in Spicy Soy Bean Sauce),賣相很好,鮮魷魚麵醬鍋飯躲在泡泡之下,泡泡很輕,輕得像一口清風,清風過後,剩下青介餘韻,鮮魷魚麵醬鍋飯的份量相當迷你,只見鮮魷魚和泡菜,說好的辣麵醬味道似乎沒有。餐廳還有一項優惠,拍下食物照片上載到餐廳FB及現場即時到FB打咭,即可獲得$50現金券,可惜,這個優惠很難似乎送出,餐廳位置在FB是找不到的,因為該位置在FB仍然顯示上一手的餐廳。…Read More

木木獨獨的光棍節午餐

幾個月沒到過旺角火車站一帶,今日行經黑布街,忽然眼前一亮,原本的海味店,已轉手成為一間特色餐廳,特色的意思是指店面設計,一間以木為主題的餐廳,門前落地玻璃,不過這位置的景觀真是麻麻喇。我好奇的走過去看看,知客好有禮貌請我入去試試,配合餐廳的木的主題,中間放了棵光禿禿的樹幹(哈﹗光棍,應節啊﹗),樹幹下的長餐枱配以一根根的木頭為櫈,每根木頭的年輪都不同,好原始,對於我這個城市人來說,可能會坐唔慣;由於午飯時間已過,餐廳沒有其他客人,我選擇了坐在靠牆的沙發角落位置,牆上還有一根根的樹幹作裝飾;感覺好舒服,好寧靜的獨自以木為伴地享用這頓午餐。香濃海鮮湯,有著濃濃的蝦湯底,湯內還有幾隻鮮蝦,有喝龍蝦湯的感覺;餐包質感與蛋糕有點相近,味道層次較豐厚,帶點蛋糕般的綿密和濕潤,配以味道清新鮮茄蓉伴食,味道跟海鮮湯相當匹配;至於主菜安格斯牛扒,五成熟,火喉控制得剛剛好,肉質鮮嫩粉紅無肉筋,醮牛扒的肉汁做得很出色,濃稠而無奪去牛扒鮮味,餐飲加廿元可轉特飲,我選了薄荷朱古力牛奶咖啡,但薄荷朱古力味道不夠特出,被咖啡蓋過了,無甚驚喜。最後,侍應遞上一盒牙簽,哈﹗牙簽盒也是木紋的,果然連細節也做到足。…Read More

自從上次試過夾饃涼皮,對陝西菜念念不忘,意猶未盡,再去走訪其他陝西菜菜館,喺openrice search到一間陝西菜小店~有緣小敍,地點有點吊腳,要食好嘢,行多幾步都值得,午市已過,全店只得一兩枱客,感覺好優閒,家庭式經營,貼心嘅個人化服務方式,客人可以隨心所欲地選擇自己可接受嘅辣度,任意要求剔走自己唔喜歡的調味配料。我點咗五香驢肉,老陝湯蕎麥餄烙,羊肉餃Biang biang麵,同老闆娘推介陝西汽水,有兩款味道選擇,我鼓起勇氣點咗罐酸梅湯試試。哈﹗酸酸甜甜,味道討好得令我有點喜出望外。羊肉餃Biang biang麵,我選擇微辣,一條過,一匹布咁長嘅宽條麵,伴醬汁同炸紫菜碎木耳絲一齊食,鹹鹹香香,濃郁惹味,滑溜同帶點煙韌;羊肉餃餡料韭菜多過羊肉,突出唔到羊肉嘅味道,被韭菜蓋過了;五香驢肉唔係咁多地方有,必食;味道隨和得令人易於接受,驢肉好焾,質感似午餐肉,特製醬汁少少辣,配五香驢肉嚟食,味道多了分層次;老陝湯蕎麥餄烙,外型同日本蕎麥麵差唔多但質感完全唔一樣,蕎麥餄烙比較滑,湯底好濃,好足料,有肉碎、土豆片,同香料味道,夏天吃略感油膩,配陝西冰峰酸梅湯,酸甜味道中和了一些油膩感,頓覺清爽了很多,話雖如此,始終都是冬天吃較佳。 …Read More

約咗朋友去紅館睇演唱會,早到咗成個鐘,無謂喺火車站尐食肆同人迫,上openrice睇吓紅磡有咩好嘢食,search到西香記,食陝西嘢,幾特別,又唔貴,值得一試,該店係快餐店形式,老闆女畀咗張點餐紙我,填完購票,不過老闆娘見我好似有選擇困難症咁,叫我入去坐底慢慢填,入去原來有夾饃涼皮套餐,包飲品,我點咗孜然牛肉夾饃,金牌擀麵皮,唔敢試陝西汽水,都係穏陣尐飲coke zero算喇,孜然牛肉夾饃,饀料有洋蔥青椒同牛肉絲,饃嘅質感好實在,唔黐牙,烘到熱辣辣,仲有濃香嘅孜然味,食落好暖胃,好舒服。金牌擀麵皮,係煙靭嗰隻,配青瓜絲同麵筋,青瓜絲切得好幼,一pat腐乳色嘅芝麻醬,味道好淡好淡,麻醬味似有還無,加咗老闆娘推介嘅涼皮特製醬汁同辣油,仍然覺得淡,最後都係要加鹽調味。…Read More

星期日食完早餐去元創方睇展覽同打書釘,hea咗成個下晝,有尐肚餓,出到蘇豪區,已五點鐘,Sunday brunch同 all day breakfast都收晒,晚餐又未開始,行落去見有間門口貼住米之蓮食肆嘅餃子店,於是入去試試,可能未到晚市時間,冷清清得一枱客,但不斷有客人入嚟買外賣生餃子。我一向鍾意試新嘢,點咗海參三鮮餃同羊肉京蔥餃,香辣豬耳同豆漿,從外型嚟睇,兩款餃子睇落都係差唔多,首先試海參三鮮餃,餡漲卜卜,有海參、鮮蝦同豬肉,師傅切得好幼細,唔留意都睇唔到有海參,味道確實唔錯,唯一可惜就係食唔到海參嘅質感;羊肉京蔥餃做得相當出色,整個羊肉餡被肉汁包圍著,濃濃嘅羊肉味,京蔥同羊肉已完全混和在一起,連我這個不吃蔥的人也無從挑剔。香辣豬耳好脆,有青瓜絲墊底,醬汁比我想像中辣,不過又辣得幾過癮,除此之外就食唔到其他味道喇。至於豆漿係屬於大路嘢,本應冇乜好寫,但味道有尐似維他奶。…Read More

晚餐諗唔到食乜好,經過明輝,見到晚餐都抵食,有湯有茶有白飯,入去點咗兩個晚餐,漁香茄子火腩煲同西蘭花炒牛肉。首先上枱係漁香茄子火腩煲,侍應阿姐知我叫咗兩個晚餐,一次過上晒兩個白飯,真貼心;火腩同漁香茄子汁好鹹好鹹,茄子汁撈飯都覺得鹹,廚師似乎手重咗,好彩茄子冇事,軟硬適中,兩個人就咁搶食晒尐茄子食,火腩就要逐件放入杯茶度洗過至食得,平時我好少咁做;洗碗阿姐今次真係多得我唔少。西蘭花炒牛肉都唔掂,牛肉冇乜味就預咗喇,但西蘭花仲差,有少少似牛油味,有少少似。。。。,味道好複雜,唉﹗我都唔識得形容,總之係「奇」味無窮,可能尐西蘭花放入雪櫃度太耐,吸收咗雪櫃其他食材嘅味道啦﹗結果成碟喺番度,我自己都覺得好浪費。呢間餐廳我幇襯過幾次,一向都幾OK架,唔知點解今次咁失去手勢。…Read More

母親節食飯想Walk in 唔使等位,只可以選擇食 early dinner,我未夠六點到 King Ludwig,唔使等,即時有位,但七點九要交枱,推開門,侍應好大聲好高速同客人講 happy mother's day,氣氛真係好好,每枱都準備咗母親節禮物,女女拆開嚟睇過,係一條圍裙同相架,侍應仲逐枱埋去替媽咪影全家福,PR工夫做到足。我較喜歡飲尐甜甜地嘅嘢,我揀咗 Snow Ball; 1 litre Arcobräu Dunkel分兩杯上, 1客 Port knuckle 同 Small Sausage Teaser。出菜效率相當高,Port knuckle好快送到,豬手好大隻,上枱前 waiter 好尊業咁將隻豬手解體,起骨開六件,肉好滑好焾,又夠juice,最正就係塊豬皮,烤到卜卜脆,仲有薯仔酸菜伴碟;Small Sausage Teaser 份量都唔細,有紐倫堡腸、維也納腸同牛仔腸各兩條,最好味係有牛仔腸,有酸菜同煙肉墊低,酸菜吸收咗煙肉嘅鹹香,中和咗酸味,味道層次豐富咗好多。食完仲有成個鐘至交枱,有尐意猶未盡,加多個Baked Alaska,等咗十零分鐘,Baked Alaska好大份,上枱時點著火,白色外層,上面加上鮮生果,襯托藍色火焰,外觀好靚,被火焰燒焦部份,脆脆地,留有少少酒嘅餘香,整體味道唔係十分太甜,相當出色。最窩心嘅就係呢餐當然係由女女做東道啦。…Read More

喺九龍城食完個early dinner,順道去Patisserie Tony Wong朝朝聖,過到去差唔多到咗傍晚時份,飾櫃內蛋糕已所剩無幾,選擇唔多,我揀咗Chocolate Lover同last一件嘅Raspberry chocolate cake,堂食碟上。Raspberry chocolate cake簡單red velvet外層,唧花裝飾加上金箔,酸酸Raspberry mousse剛好調和了朱古力mousse甜膩,中間的一層脆脆,加上brownie餅底,豐富了整體嘅質感。Chocolate Lover係一件華麗嘅朱古力拼盤,Metallic Pink Macaron夾著pink velvet 朱古力心心, 視覺上已很吸引,Oval型淡朱古力mousse,質滑細膩好似鵝肝醬,還隱約感覺到橙酒嘅餘韻,哈﹗可能係我諗多咗,mousse上面加上粒粒朱古力啫喱同點點金箔,brownie餅底被濃濃嘅朱古力溶和了,變得很稠很滑,每一部份都精雕細琢,但欠缺呼應。…Read More

行完青衣城,攰攰地,搵間餐廳醫醫肚,歇歇腳,見Pizza Stage環境幾relax,又唔使等位,waitress安排咗個靠牆位置畀我,呢度樓底高,環境好開揚,坐得好舒服,我order 兩個lunch,兩個主菜分別係煙三文魚凱撒沙律配墨西哥粟米片,同芝士龍蝦汁帶子扁意大利麵,可以兩個人share嚟食,加$13 upgrard 咗套餐加配甜品,我揀咗松露芝士餅;皇冠酥皮周打海鮮湯好鮮甜,好足料,周打海鮮湯有蜆肉、蝦、魷魚、仲有青口粒,麵撈打得好薄,但好creamy,加黑椒更令鮮味提升。煙三文魚凱撒沙律配墨西哥粟米片,煙三文魚好一般,片得好薄好薄霜一般嘅芝士,散落喺沙律菜上面,而沙律菜好新鮮,最出色係醃過嘅車厘茄,有濃濃嘅香草味;見到枱面有支油醋,個餐又冇餐包跟,結果忍唔到口,攞咗嚟點沙律。芝士龍蝦汁帶子扁意大利麵,睇落好油,龍蝦汁加芝士,連同青島貝一樣size嘅帶子,質感好重,但好好味。唔知係咪心理作用,松露芝士餅食到隱約嘅松露味,哈﹗諗多咗喇,試真尐,其實係雪櫃味,no good;最後,飲番杯紅茶消消滯。…Read More
