幾乎通宵趕起咗 個project ,meet到deadline之後,即刻覺得鬆一口氣,於是決定去食個頽飯獎勵自己。之前成日經過呢間茶餐廳,俾佢門口嘅懷舊裝飾吸引住,但係又無機會黎試。結果今日終於下定決心要黎食,即使要排隊等位都在所不惜 好在等咗20分鐘就有位,見之前雜誌介紹過呢度嘅波蘿包好得,不過好似得個波蘿包又唔夠飽,結果都係叫咗個常餐,公仔麵都係正常standard,但係佢嘅鮮菇奄列真係超好食,啲磨菇多到瀉,再配埋佢果個類似奶油豬嘅餐包,絕對夠晒飽。 當然茶餐黎講,佢唔算最平,但係都OK 啦~~…Read More

灣仔一個好似好多野食嘅地方,但係偏偏OT 嘅時候好多餐廳都會收晒,所以呢間打冷野就成為我哋OT 食飯嘅落腳點^^每次黎到一定要叫嘅係煎蠔餅,自從有一次喺廟街食過之後,我就愛上咗煎蠔餅,去到邊一有機會就叫黎試,不過可惜食到煎蠔餅嘅機會越黎越少,好似呢度咁傳統嘅煎蠔餅就梗加買少見少。平時食開嘅煎蠔餅一係就碎身,一係就「油林林」,但係呢度就可以煎到一大塊,仲要唔太油,兼且唔多水,所以我次次都食過番尋味凍冰冰最好就梗係叫個熱辣辣嘅煲黎食就最好,所以我哋就叫咗個魚香茄子煲,貪佢辣得夠惹味,撈飯一流一個辣一個熱氣,梗係要叫返個「金銀蛋浸時蔬」黎降下火,飽肚又岩岩好…Read More

London House 係Gordon Ramsay 進軍香港嘅第二步,同中環嘅Bread Street定位唔同,London House 就係走pub嘅風格,所以主打嘅菜式都係送啤酒小食為主,好似英國最經典嘅fish and chips,就係呢度嘅signature dish。呢度有兩層,我哋揀咗上層窗邊位,吹住海風都幾爽^^身為一個英國廚,fish and chips 當然都係Gordon Ramsay嘅拿手菜,所以黎到呢度梗係一定要order ^^ 一直以黎都喺香港搵間好食嘅fish and chips,搵黎搵去都淨係搵到一兩間比較好,越黎越覺得fish and chips 真係一啲都唔易整,好在Gordon Ramsay無令我哋失望,新鮮炸起嘅魚柳,外脆內軟,無overdone,配埋個tartar sauce,真係無食過Gordon Ramsay嘅 fish and chips 都唔敢話自己有食開,亦都不枉我哋等佢黎香港咁耐跟手就再叫多個London House Sharing Platter,個platter 都係以炸物為主,有calamari、buffalo wings,一次過滿足晒我哋嘅唔同要求,啲炸物亦keep 到個水準 見到今期蠔有special offer,即刻叫咗半打,鮮甜好味,完美嘅一餐…Read More

禮拜五幾個朋友食飯,朋友介紹去諾士佛臺嘅一間樓上餐廳,食墨西哥菜。墨西哥菜出咗名以辣椒為主要食材,再加埋芝士,所以岩晒我呢個愛辣嘅芝士狂迷,我當然唔會有異議啦~~主打墨西哥菜,呢度嘅裝修都幾有中東風格,有超多卡位,都幾岩一班朋友黎傾計。一心諗住慢慢傾,所以都一口氣叫咗幾多野食,當然唔少得墨西哥菜最出名嘅nachos 同tacos,再叫埋calamari,夠晒我哋三個女仔食。一黎就上咗calamari,啲魷魚煙煙靭靭,炸得夠晒香口,啲油又無油溢味,最岩做小食。之後就係chicken nachos,一睇到個dish presentation 已經知道無得輸,一層層嘅tortilla chips,上面放滿半溶嘅芝士同埋墨西哥嘅經典pico de gallo醬,再加埋用sour cream 醃過嘅雞粒,酸酸辣辣又香口,真係食到停唔到口終於黎到今晚嘅戲肉,我哋揀咗四款唔同嘅ingredients 配tacos,有雞、豬、帶子同埋魚柳,全部都係配咗pico de gallo。呢度嘅夾餅皮係用返墨西哥傳統嘅做法,以小麥或者粟米粉做成,所以比較軟身,同美國嘅脆身tacos好唔同,兩者各有口感 …Read More

灣仔越看越多新餐廳,今日食Christmas lunch,又去咗試新餐廳 - Sueno,一間西班牙小店。聽啲staff 講,呢度會不定期轉MENU,而我哋今日食果個menu就係for Christmas。Lunch set 有 daily soup,今個月係南瓜忌廉湯,好有texture,雖然我平時prefer mushroom多啲,但係今次呢個湯都煮得好好,加分! 另外再加一個appetizer,係桃駁梨蘋果沙律,望落去個樣無乜特別,但係食落口真係嘩一聲,個dressing超好味,桃駁梨酸酸地,再用蘋果甜甜地中和番,甜酸岩岩prefect Main course 有成6個選擇,我揀咗豬鞍架,上菜嘅時候望落去覺得又乾又「鞋」,心諗今次唔中伏?不過都無辦法,唯有頂硬上,點知食落口又完全係另一回事,啲肉超juicy又嫰滑,個mustard cream sauce 仲調得非常之好,有晒錦上添花嘅效果 個SET 望落去唔係好大份,但係食完真係好FULL,連甜品都唔駛叫,又一次證明 less is more,簡單嘅煮法已經有好好嘅味道,可以再encore…Read More

返工經過見到開咗間新餐廳,於是就約同事LUNCH 黎試下。就咁睇裝修好似幾靚,不過其實唔係好知食咩,仲要黎到先知新開張全單有八折。入到黎坐得,睇MENU 先知係食意大利菜,我哋四個人於是就叫咗四個SET,分別係Dog Cockles Fusilli, Mushroom Bucatini, Free Range Chicken Breast 同埋 Rainbow Trout。上main course 之前,server 俾咗啲麵包我哋食,平時食意大利麵包通常都係配黑醋同埋olive oil,但係呢度就俾咗一個獨家製嘅辣椒牛油,因為我哋本身實在太鐘意食黑醋,所以我哋向server request 要返黑醋,但係個server 就堅持要我哋食辣椒牛油,我哋試完之後都覺得唔夠味,就再request佢俾返黑醋同olive oil 我哋,個server見我哋咁堅持,唯有投降而daily soup 就係南瓜忌廉湯,都幾smooth同rich四個main course我哋share 食,所以每一款都有試,fusilli 煮得比較硬身,dog cockles 原來即係歐洲蛤蜊,食唔出同其他蛤蜊有咩分別。Mushroom Bucatini 啲mushroom 係好香好濃,但係就完全overwhelm 咗佢嘅芝士味,menu 上寫明係63°C嘅日本蛋,即係溫泉蛋,係煮蛋嘅最佳溫度,一切出黎,D 蛋汁就四邊流出黎,超治癒Chicken breast 一如所料都係乾同「鞋」,無期望所以無失望。至於,Rainbow trout 配檸檬汁同埋近年大熱嘅superfood 羽衣甘藍都係唔得,超鹹...最後係跟SET 嘅甜品,chocolate brownie with berry sauce 一啲都唔鬆軟,成舊實到爆,仲要甜到我哋全部都食唔到總括黎講,新開店嘅質素真係麻麻,最慘嘅係,啲野唔算好食,但係仲要超重味精,食完勁頸渴…Read More

過江唔一定係「龍」- Shake Shack

又一間過江龍,今次係來自new york 嘅人氣burger 店 Shake Shack,第一間喺IFC 開,跟住就黎咗PP,據聞一開張個個LUNCH 都逼爆晒,所以都係避下風頭先。先講裝修,成間店都係走modern簡約風,全部用晒木枱,枱上面仲刻有Shake Shack嘅burger 圖案,就喺呢啲細節睇到佢哋嘅心思。舖裡面設有一個醬汁櫃,俾顧客自己去拎想要嘅醬汁,要咩有咩,都幾方便。Shake Shack 最出名嘅係佢採用無添加激素同埋抗生素嘅牛肉同雞肉,再加埋佢哋特別烹調嘅醬汁,令到佢嘅漢堡包攞晒獎 呢度嘅burger 主打牛肉同雞肉,咁梗係要一次過試晒兩款肉,所以就叫咗 ShackBurger 同埋Chick'n Shack。先講個ShackBurger,其實即係cheeseburger,牛肉黎講都叫做有牛味,但係就唔算太JUICY,份量亦都比較細,女仔食就岩岩好,但係男人就可能唔夠。相對起牛肉,雞肉burger就無乜選擇,只係得一款Chick' n Shack;雞肉用咗雞胸,雖然係啖啖肉,但係就偏「鞋」。薯條同漢堡當然係要一齊食先夠爽,所以一定要配埋 cheese fries。佢哋嘅薯條係厚切同埋波浪形,好似以前茶餐廳食到果種薯條,正到暈 至於佢啲cheese就係其實係芝士醬,開頭食兩啖都OK,不過食得多就有啲膩~~平時食burger同薯條都會配汽水,但係Shake Shack 其中一個出名嘅產品就係milkshake ,所以今次就揀咗香港先有嘅milk tea shake,係有茶味,不過唔係太似奶茶,同埋對我黎講就偏甜。…Read More

喜出望外的芝士茶

一早都知喜茶喺大陸好紅,亦都知道芝士茶係由喜茶最早研發,所以我呢個芝士精一路都好想去試下佢哋嘅芝士茶,終於等到佢黎香港開舖。唔少新聞都有講過,喜茶除咗開發咗芝士茶之外,佢另外一個出名嘅地方就係所有分店都會排長龍,呢個習俗黎到香港都無改變過,睇新聞見到第一日已經排咗幾百人,一向怕排隊嘅我梗係避之則吉。時隔咁耐,我估應該都唔駛點排隊勒卦,所以今日黎開沙田就點都要幫襯下。點知出乎我意料之外,雖然唔係幾百人排隊,但係都要等幾個字。之前上網睇過喜茶嘅大陸分店有好多特色,好似有黑金CONCEPT、全粉紅店咁,要幾浮誇有幾浮誇,但係黎到香港,佢反而走返簡約風,全店都係以白色為主,裡面唔係有好多位坐,應該都係預大家買走,所以就預留咗一大個位置俾人坐低等拎野飲,都算幾貼心講返呢度嘅主題 - 芝士茶,唔知點解佢喺CASHIER 後面果個MENU D 字超細,行到埋去先睇到有咩選擇 (可能大家都叫到熟晒,所以唔駛睇MENU),我見好多人都叫水果茶,但係我黎係想試芝士茶,所以我堅持揀返芝士配金鳯奶茶,而為免太甜,我哋都係揀半糖試下水溫。跟住仲見到只係香港店先有嘅奶茶雪糕,諗都唔駛諗就即刻叫咗杯黎食 ^^喺等拎杯茶期間,就梗係要試咗杯雪糕先。個奶茶雪糕都幾滑,都有D 茶味,但係就唔算最特別~~真正嘅戲肉終於黎啦,果然係「聞名不如見面」,自從芝士奶蓋喺香港興趣之後,前前後後都試過唔少店嘅芝士奶蓋,原本已經覺得茶芝味係唔錯,點知真係「天外有天」,佢個芝士超rich,勁有口感。平時坊間嘅只係著重芝士,反而個茶底就無乜特別,但係呢度嘅茶底就好清醇,一啲澀味都無原本仲驚有伏,點知原來都算係名不虛傳,下次有機會要試埋其他茶先~~…Read More

同舊同事食生日飯,當然要揀一間IGable 嘅餐廳啦,上網睇到呢間餐廳好多人讚,D 卡位又夠privacy,岩晒傾計~~一黎到已經可能間餐廳超靚,成間裝修都係以tiffany blue 配雲石紋,紙巾座同menu 牌亦都用咗近年好興嘅玫瑰金,完全係將最大熱嘅元素集於一身可能因為係平日,成間餐廳都唔太多人,個waiter 仲好好service,主動介紹我哋食咩,所以我哋都有聽佢嘅suggestion,揀咗ham croquettes, fries  同埋spring chicken,另外亦都叫咗個paella,in case 個 spring chicken 唔得^^好快已經黎咗個ham croquettes,油炸嘅溫度岩岩好而又無油溢味,出面嘅麵包糠炸得脆卜卜,裡面嘅smash potates 又打得好滑溜,再加埋芝士,一啖咬落去,D 芝士薯蓉真係無得頂~~跟住上菜嘅就係個薯條,初時想叫純粹係因為想食厚切薯條,當時無留意到佢係配wasabi mayonnaise,當佢送到黎之後,一點呢個wasabi mayonnaise就發現原來呢個醬先係成個dish嘅精粹,完全係將呢個FRIES 畫龍點晴再之後就上咗spring chicken  同埋paella,一於所料,spring chicken 真係好難整得好食,雖然佢已經好聰明咁用咗蜜糖黎焗,令到佢個外皮甜甜脆脆咁,但係雞腔仍然係偏「鞋」,亦都有啲乾。至於個paella就唔錯,佢講明係一人份量,但係其實兩個女仔都夠食,啲飯亦整得唔錯,配合鹹鹹地嘅 parma ham,味道岩岩好人哋話女仔有2個胃,所以雖然食main course 已經食到好飽,但係又點會放棄甜品呢?我哋揀咗tiramisu,因為係一個mini 版嘅tiramisu,佢嘅presentation亦有啲特別,將原本應該係做餅底嘅手指餅變咗做decoration,而佢啲咖啡粉亦都夠晒香濃,中和咗甜味,係一個唔錯嘅選擇 …Read More

做人好多時候都係「知其不可而為之」,明明知道珍珠奶茶係有超肥,明明知道芝士奶蓋就梗係肥,明明知道飲一杯係肥過食一餐飯,但係有啲野真係唔係咁易控制,特別係對於一個芝士控黎講~~近年芝士奶蓋進軍香港,幾乎間間珍珠奶茶店都賣埋芝士奶蓋,但係當然唔係間間都好飲,睇咗坊間咁多介紹,知道葵廣呢間「茶芝味」就係平靚正之選,今日一場黎到當然要試番杯。為咗試出佢嘅原汁原味,我諗都無諗就揀咗「芝士奶茶」,D 芝士都RICH幾有口感,仲偏鹹鹹地,好正,不過因為我揀咗奶茶做底,我個人就覺得比較甜,下次可能揀返烏龍茶會比較好,但係總括黎講,佢嘅芝士奶蓋真係無得頂…Read More

睇演唱會之前先去醫肚,去咗紅磡火車站旁果個商場,但係food court 超多人,正當猶疑緊唔知食咩好果陣,咁岩俾我哋見到有人捧住一個刺身丼喺我哋面前經過,於是就周圍搵,最終搵到呢間壽司舖。見佢一個三文魚手卷又肥美又大件,但係價錢都係好相宜,於是就買黎頂肚,仲順手試埋佢嘅飯糰。日本手卷同飯糰最注重嘅當然係佢嘅米,呢間舖頭雖然唔係咩集團式經營,但係用料都算幾好,真係用返日本珍珠米,食落有口感又唔會太硬,好過D便利店出嘅飯糰多多聲,以後黎睇演唱會又多個選擇…Read More

又係fish and chips嘅尋覓之旅,上網search過呢間 white beard 係香港數一數二嘅fish and chips 店,所以專誠黎朝聖~~Tea time 時分都無乜人,可以俾我哋舒舒服服慢慢食。慕名而黎當然要叫fish and chips,第一次黎食揀咗signature fish and chips。不枉我哋長途跋涉黎到食,亦都證明咗佢真係實至名歸,因為佢啲fish and chips 炸得恰到好處,而且一啲油溢味都無,熱辣辣非常好味,直頭係我喺香港食過最好食嘅fish and chips雖然佢以fish and chips 聞名,但係佢嘅其他炸物都好有水準,今次我哋就試埋個 garlic prawn boat,雖然係炸,但係啲蝦肉完全無偷工減料,新鮮又彈牙,熱辣辣無得頂~~Fish and chips 嘅最佳伴侶一定係非啤酒莫屬,所以呢度都有自家製嘅手工啤酒,仲改咗個好特別嘅名,叫做蝦餃,幾有麥味幾好飲,下次一定要試埋其他味道…Read More

黎星街搵食果陣,成日都經過呢間餐廳,用咗水泥牆做裝修,工業風好重,唔知點解,佢成日都令我聯想起山頂果間 The Peak Lookout,咁岩大家都係Lookout,其實係咪真係有關係架呢?講返正題,呢間餐廳主打美國菜,平時真係好少會諗起佢,因為美國菜好自然令人覺得好heavy,但係今日係同事慶祝生日,而主角話佢要食得heavy D,所以就揀咗呢間~~口話要食得豐富啲,叫野食嘅時候都係有啲怯,所以都係照老規矩,4個人叫3個set share食,美國菜當然唔少得要叫burger,不過可惜我唔食牛,無機會食,但係據聞好好食!喺我印象中fish and chips喺英國菜,黎到呢間美國菜,梗係要試下英式美式大不同啦~~ 又係老問題,都係有少少油溢味,同埋D 粉比較厚最後揀咗一個穩陣嘅carbonara,都真係穩穩陣陣,不過不失雖然只係叫咗3個SET,但係美國菜即係美國菜,最後大家都係飽到飛起 …Read More
