我不是LINE的FANS,但看這裡的佈置又真的頗可愛。門口的女侍應有點冷淡,拿著大堆行李的我,想要一個大點的位,她亦只說要等完全沒有幫我留意。終於有位了,想叫炸蝦餅飯誰知竟然86。Menu上種類已經不多但是仍然86是有些失敗。我問男的像經理的人員,他十分沒耐性,我只是停數秒去考慮他已走開。我其實也是趕時間,我一面大叫落單他一面走開遙距下單,飲什麼也不問是我自己再加的。三分鐘後,來了一杯錯的咖啡。到我叫的辣炸雞飯,普通過普通。先是溫度不夠熱,另外炸醬很硬很乾,是「脆」但不是香脆或鬆脆。雞肉「鞋」但致命傷是完全冇味。飯粒也不是高檔的珍珠米。所以整碗飯是非常非常平凡。打完一次卡就夠了。…Read More

首先我是絕對不肖自助餐。印象這裡以前叫Panorama的時候,質素是不錯的。今天一來,食物,服務之差,間直服了香港人或大陸燦對自助餐的迷戀。先說食物,來自F&B的我,以知食物質素因為成本問題,是提供次等級數,作為食客要食質素或選擇,是自身素養問題。這裡選擇真的寒酸,想找一,兩道像樣的selling point都沒有。沙律的鮮菜只有兩種,醬全是最cheap和standard的thousand island, French dressing, 靚一點的balsamic oil則放在高一些不顯眼的地方。凍海鮮沒有蠔,我明有時候是risk的因素,但剩下的選擇真的不吸引,只有聊聊的蟹,蝦,青口。魚生方面,一樣供應入門篇,貴一點的帶子,海膽,鰻魚,當然欠奉。義大利粉,又是最基本的幾種選擇,成本便宜時間即叫即煮令食客花時間排隊,是餐廳「最佳」供應。簡單一句,如果沒有環境的包裝,食物本身根本沒資格出場面。講講presentation, Caesar salad, 對我來說如果有沒有一個大碗給我自己攪,是高級與低級的分別。另外為何在沙律汁中有「中式辣椒豉油」?真的奈人尋味?最後一提,是日乃長輩之生日,是前交待過留生日蛋糕,最後題字為”happy birth to xxx NEXR ROLL good health”. 在百思不解之下問經理,他解釋為師父英文不好,他們叫他分兩行(next roll) 但師父把next roll (錯成nexr)也寫上蛋糕。我們覺得很好笑多過激氣,但充分反映了員工的質素。食物,員工都不合格,我只能說浪費的錢只是花在海景上。以後貼錢都不來。…Read More

一家人試新口味,三家三代也是要求甚高,知道東寶的大名,便一早訂位。叫了:青芥辣八爪魚沙津:尚可,有人覺得芥末太「攻」鼻,有人覺得不夠味。炸米通蓮藕鯪魚餅:一致認為,全晚最差失敗之作,魚肉不新鮮又鯹又臭。南乳炸豬手:香口有餘,豬味欠奉。涼瓜炒苦瓜:喜愛苦的人會欣賞,但那個豉椒醬不香無味。炒蟶子:一樣那個豉汁無味。薑汁炒芥蘭:丁點的薑味,味道有如冇落鹽的滾菜。胡椒豬吐大蜆湯:尚可,但價錢太貴。荷葉飯:聞落有荷香,顏色也可觀,但奈何味道欠奉。豉油炒麵:一致認為全晚最佳菜色。風沙雞:全晚第二名。雞肉嫰滑,但雞皮可以再薄再脆會更好。以上不是一個人,是綜合所有人的評論。總括來說:名個其實,不部份菜味道不足,絕對是「一次便夠」的餐廳。…Read More

蔡瀾曾經說過最難弄的日本菜就是天婦羅。一直有注意到這間店,今天終於有機會來試。食品選擇不多,天婦羅類的只有三、四項,其餘是咖哩或麵、烏冬之類。我一直對於日本餐館不能專一做一種菜頗為不以為然。我點了海鮮天丼。店員的招待服務是不差的。天婦羅不太差,但在我來看有太多不正宗:1)最大的死罪是脆漿太脆!天婦羅不同揚物炸物,不是要口感的香脆。像它那塊炸菜葉,脆漿有如一塊薯片。2)汁-日本如果天婦羅是set,點的是蘿蔔醋汁。如果是丼(餸在飯上),淋的是深色的天婦羅汁。這𥚃落海膽粉,怪怪的。3)海鮮不夠多:一般也應該有一款魚類。這處用蟹條,cheap,有些雪味。4)雞蛋:不夠「爆漿」。平心而論,如果我當自己是吃炸海鮮飯,這算是過得去的。招呼旺角客可能可以吧!…Read More

下午二時半,行過深水埗,是閒日星期二,仍然有人龍,是米芝蓮的嘉許,又見只有一號舖不用排隊,就試試,特別是試米芝蓮懂不懂街坊食品。侍應生禮貌很好,店內位雖然窄,但算是清潔。食品方面,比較特別的是柚皮和花膠。柚皮不錯,比我平常食車仔麵選的蘿蔔會入味。其餘的餸一慨普通。如灣仔有一間我的車仔麵至愛,它的酸齋帶有微脆,新鮮好味得多。最敗筆的是湯。很甜,留意,不是鮮甜,是甜,很不自然。有其中一個食評說湯好味到要喝清。我也有把湯喝完一半左右,其結果是,整個下午口腔喉嚨非常乾渴。Michelin? 私人理由經常搭飛機,廉航便成了我的習慣。T2入閘後2xx登機範圍又貴又沒選擇。在時間與金錢的考慮,(廉航不包食),盛記是我不二之選。價錢:便宜,比food court 更便宜。一個燒味套餐不用50元。服務:有人招呼,不是自助。地方:比food court 更清靜寬闊。質素:用價錢,絶對是超值的,味道本身也是過得去的。留意到open rice,有很多負評,依我很多次的經驗,不但沒有服務差,反而是很好。例如我叫一薑䓤油,店員會對我說:「唔夠再出聲拿多碟。」可能有改善吧。總之我未在T2未找到我第二個飯堂。…Read More

在觀塘打滾了十幾年,我都對這店走漏了眼,可見其癮閉。無招牌,門面我一直以為是某飯堂的後門。店內很少但座位十分窄。我看看餐牌叫了招牌經典的牛腩蝦條煎米粉。最特色當然是米粉,有旦汁一起煎像奄列。但問題是,米粉有點粗不夠幼細,旦煎不香口。蝦條平凡,不過不失,不會是有新鮮彈牙有蝦鮮味的那種。至於牛腩,味很濃,質地有些「鞋」但還算可以。店內很窄但有些油煙味,走的時候身上索了很厚的味。可能帶了一些期望來,失望也不少。…Read More

見到此處以湯包為號召心思思就試一試。測試的入門「柯打」是小籠湯包和招牌擔擔麵。留意餐牌上的確是叫招牌擔擔麵的,我當然加上幾分期望。小籠包是絕對合格的。皮算是薄,湯汁豐富,雖然比不上鼎泰豐或翡翠拉麵,但可以一試。擔擔麵就失色得多。麵是上海白麵,遍淡,但是湯不夠濃。蔴醬夠多夠了,但湯就是沒有其他,肉末太少。翡翠拉麵,詠藜園的擔擔麵各有味道和特色,但這裡的就非常單調,就連湯味也沒有酸或鹹,就是悶。名字有招牌更加幾分失望。綜合以上,沒有一種大驚喜,也沒有衝動再來。…Read More

友人加親人雙雙推薦此處,今天有緣來此一嘗。便重要是把所有招牌菜都試了。首先點了招牌三寶。炸魚皮的的確確無懈可撃,很薄很脆很薄。炸雲吞可以,餡𥚃略帶一點冬菇味。炸魚片頭也可以,彈口,只是我不是片頭的愛好者。再來是南乳豬手,很淋很入味。然後也是招牌的西多士。這道小吃好味在所有東西都十分平衡:炸漿,糖漿,花生醬,牛油,和面包本身的質感都很好。絶對是必吃(我們先後叫了三碟)。跟著我們在街市買了六,七種海鮮,計有蟶子,鮑魚,魚,糕蟹,蜆,蝦。手工很好,蒸,炒,湯樣樣佳。最後叫了一碟豉油王炒麵。不是我的茶,但用來試廚房的功力。麵很乾身,不油膩,有鑊氣,很好。走之前外賣一客招牌:柱侯牛腩。牛腩汁非常厚身,難得把牛筋也煲到溶化。充滿骨膠的汁也有美顔效果。…Read More
