I had a sudden craze for some fresh veggies, and all I got nearby was starbucks.So I went inside, that time wasnt too crowded, I could find a place to sit down once I got inside. So that was a friday night, my friend and I decided to try something new, something western but not too heavy. Since I have wanted to try all (literally all) the cafes in Wan Chai, so we start with OVO.I have heard that this cafe is full of flowers, the whole atmosphere is so greeny and environmental-friendly (like like, cuz I like all these nature things), which is true, the first thing that poped up in my mind when I got there was, were I in a flower shop or something? hahaAnyway, by the time I got there, it was almost 7pm, my friend got there at like 6pm, no waiting time is needed, but at 7pm, there was already a long queue (thanks mate for going there way earlier haha)We ordered....1) Daily Soup (didn't try it, but I think that was a pea soup or sth like that)It came with a piece of bread. On top of the soup, there were some crunchy bread bites also.Looked nice, I would totally order one next time!2) Garlic Bread ($45)***HIGHLY RECOMMEND!As one of the die heart fan of BREADS, ordering this was a MUST!Breads are hot (I hate when breads are cold, or at least they have to be warm/toasted!!), nicely toasted with a thin layer of butter on top.Breads were side with classic salad sauce and whole piece of pan-fried garlic. All you needed was to squeeze the garlic into the sauce, then mix them! Garlic and the sauce would be nicely merged together, then (of course) put a THICK layer of it onto the butter bread!Soooooooooooooooooo good like you can never miss this!3) Vegetarian All-day Breakfast ($88)Ingredient: Cheesy Mashed Potato, 2 pieces of toasts, fresh veggies, fried eggs, fried mushroom, baked beans & fried tomato, topped with bread crunch.Cheesy Mashed Potato, warm, smooth, but the taste couldn’t stand out, need to work on a bit more!Toasts, veggies, eggs, mushroom, beans, all of them were fair in level, I mean how can they go wrong right?Fried tomato, this was extraordinary, as normally café would only fried them and served them directly. But here, they topped it with a LOT of bread crunch, which made it extraordinary. In terms of taste, it was okay. In terms of the look, it was beyond beautiful and mouth-watering.4) Tomato Salad with AvocadoVeggies were fresh, plus the balsamic vinegar, *whoooooop* HOW CAN YOU POSIIBLY RESIST THIS. I have always loved Avocado, the good thing about this dish is that they put lots of rather thick pieces of avocado!   After a few searching in Openrice, finally come up with this restaurant - Chai Wan-ese,a restaurant that my friends have been recommending me to try.  So here I was, with my aunt, and a " full preparation " the night before haha. This is a self-served restaurant, with water provided. The location of it is not really hard to find, with a comfy and home-liked interior, which I was so surprised. I thought this place would be like so "Chinese" and stuff. There were 6 staffs in total (where they were all working inside the "open kitchen" and I was like " what?!, here wasnt that much people. Just come out and like at least ask if we want some water or stuff. Dont stand there (cause some of them were standing and doing nothing...)  Anyway, we ordered..  1) Big breakfast $90  Frankly speaking, if it's located here, it doesn't worth $90, they should really lower the price if they want their customers to come back again. However, if only considering the food, it does worth $90. I mean, the quality, the size of it can really be compared with those out there in Central or Causeway bay...etc. where the price is pretty much the same.  So, it has scrambled egg (huge one), sauage, bacon, salad (really fresh one), mushroom, there are actually two pieces of bread inside, it was just covered haha plus baked beans in tomato sauce!  It really was a super large breakfast for a girl lol  2) Omelette with Croissant $65?$85 (Don't really remember)  From my aunt's opinion, she said, the same thing with me, they should really lower a little bit the price in order to attract their customers and come back again. Since the location of the place really doesn't worth spending couple of bucks here. Plus, this one, from what she said, " well, nothing special, if compare with those in Causeway or simply, cafe.
