今次是第三次光顧倫哥,第一次去觀塘新店,之前兩次都十分滿意服務及食物,但今次晚上無論服務或食物都令我十分失望。今晚與男友十點半左右二人入座,我地坐靠窗位置,鄰桌有一枱有十人,比我們約早半小時入座,但我們上火鍋的時間若差五分鐘。我們在等待火鍋的時候,鄰座剛好上了火鍋,在聽店員介紹有什麼食物可refill,當中有提到可以refill魷魚,店員也一一ok,到我地上海鮮時,海鮮拼盤只有蝦、魭片,兩種貝類、元貝、聖子,沒有魷魚,於是我便問店員有無魷魚,但店員說已經賣哂。到約十一時半,店員熱情地招呼鄰座十人說已經last order,有客人說要fill白膳,店員亦無reject,然後隨即去拿refill的食物予客人。大約十分鐘後,店員方才問我們有沒有食物需加。我才詢問他是否可追加白膳,才知道原來我的海鮮拼盤內只有龍躉同魭片,店員說白膳無哂。到十二點九時,店員還提我們快將休息,著我們快些離座。食物售罄是可以理解,但店員只顧特別招待十位客人,凡是食物各樣也只招待大枱客人,優先招待,令我地覺得服務有欠專業,同時覺得疑問,為何大家也是客人,待遇卻完全不一樣。以往光顧倫哥多次亦盡慶而回,惟獨今次令有感服務大下降,希望倫哥會更進步,保持返舊水準。…Read More

大伙兒午飯時段到了這間餐廳,同事之前吃過說不錯,放是去再翻check,我點了慢煮三文魚配英式青豆意大利飯。Waitress告知是最後一份,心想應該很受觀迎,等了良久才上枱,三文魚份量很大,比一隻手掌還大,三文魚皮沾有少許炸粉,但吃起來不脆。魚肉非常軟,邊皮的位置魚肉略有魚香味,軟淋但不鬆散,但愈緊中心位置則有少許似未熟的感覺,沒有魚味,只能吃到一陣魚油,似生半熟之間,即使附上檸檬亦未能解膩。相反意大利飯味道不錯。吃飯過後感到有點胃部不適,魚油的味道不停上湧,有點想吐,以為因爲魚油太滯,過了不久肚瀉,瀉了幾次個人認為三文魚未能控制火候,可能不熟。不會再光顧…Read More

Ben's燒是以前又新街薪意串燒老闆開的,為了尋回舊味道,特意去再吃舊時至愛的燒雞腿。店子閒日晚上十點左右人流不算多,跟以前只可站著吃或在晚上可坐街邊吃比,人流少了,但餐廳的格局尚算整潔和較舒適。看看menu,再沒有了燒雞腿,普通豬牛雞串燒價錢約貴了1/3,但食品種類多了,風格也有點像渡船街的燒烤店,有較多完化的海鮮、西冷牛扒、焗蔬菜、涼伴小食。但人手多了,服務竟然差了,侍應不太留意顧客,而且不是有食客催單,上菜速度慢。我們已吃過晚飯,所以只點了數款,其中最好吃的是五花腩($25),但忘了拍照,五花腩份量合理,若有一隻女仕手掌的長度,切成八塊,五花腩層次分明,外層燒得香脆,沒有油膩感,但可再juicy少少。另外點了尖椒皮蛋($20),一上枱我們已經嚇一跳,因為是全碟是一堆切片的尖椒和半隻亂刀𠝹了幾下的皮蛋兩者沒有混和,味道就是一半隻剝好殼的原味皮蛋,鹼水味好重,好難入口,尖椒感覺是烚好再切片,碟有少少汁,但完全只是淋上去,略帶少許咸味。毫無誠意之作。總括來說,新不如舊…Read More

以前有鰂魚涌上班,總愛到大排檔那一邊吃大利清湯腩,那邊店子小小,略逼,三十多元一碗清湯牛腩米,更會配撘一塊大大的羅白,羅白無渣,十分回味。今天到天后打算吃串魚蛋頂頂肚,怎樣比我再次撞返大利!馬上叫一碗牛腩肥瘦適中,無渣,分量不少,牛腩砌得大小適中,外層略帶小許筋,小小脂肪,但感覺完全不覺"漏",反而顯得份外好吃,湯更是精華,十分清甜,令我忍不住幾乎把清也飲光光。唯一不足就是沒有撘小塊羅白,價錢亦貴少少,不過天后舖租相對貴一點,可以理解。在吃麵的短短二十分鐘聽到十少熟客跟店員談笑,十分有人情味,原來這樣比起灣仔及鰂魚涌店不同的是這樣有豬手,聽到有食客說豬手好吃!下次有機會可一試豬手。…Read More

離銅鑼灣短短15分鐘車程的鴨脷洲,地方小小,旁邊便是香港仔避風塘,是漁民聚居地,鄰近香港仔漁類批發巿場,每日有新鮮海鮮交收,近海得食,最出名當然是海鮮。因為獨自一人遊,這次不可一嚐海鮮,於是打算一嚐這裡的魚蛋粉!上網查看鴨脷洲魚蛋粉,見不少報導介紹鴨脷洲熟食中心的陳新記,由於鄰近魚巿場,海鮮加工特別平,而且也有賣魚蛋粉,是自家製。於是決定到此一試。正值下午,但熟食中心十分熱鬧,這裡有共有四家餐廳,但位置坐滿了六成,每枱幾乎也是吃海鮮小菜,不少人看穿著打扮應該是在避風塘或漁巿場工作的水上人。今日適逢星期三,陳新記休息,我到了另一有賣粉麵的餐廳-德發。我點了一碗淨魚蛋和一份油菜。魚蛋有五粒,另有三塊厚切魚片,魚蛋彈牙,咬得出有少許細骨,不會吃起來一舊粉,魚蛋應該混合了地堡魚,地堡魚可製作成魚干用以熬湯或磨成地堡魚粉,相等於陸上人的雞粉,是水上人的天然調味劑,巿面上的魚蛋較少加入地堡魚,味道獨特。最窩心的是底下有娃娃菜湯底,而且份量不少。…Read More

以前到深水埗學結他,都會在附近找些小食填肚,公和荳品常常擁滿人,偶爾一次試過隔離的喀什米爾咖哩屋。那半年來試過幾款不同的薄餅,牛油薄餅、蜂蜜薄餅、雞肉薄餅,要數最好味的是香蕉薄餅!今次碰巧到高登買電腦零件,當然去吃香蕉薄餅!店子全是印巴藉人經營,應該是家庭式經營,門口是開房廚房,可以看到印巴藉女店員在廚房做烤餅。店員都會聽廣東話,menu有中文,menu封面印住「阿里巴巴薄餅」,應該除咖哩外,薄餅也是招牌菜吧!店內衛生情況尚可,亦有香港人及外國遊客光顧。大部分烤餅價錢為$12-24,亦有各式印度咖哩,咖哩嚐過一次,味道太濃,未必合香港人口味。香蕉薄餅$18一份有兩大塊,薄餅是類似pancake質感,不是略硬帶脆身那種烤餅質感,口感略帶煙韌,蛋香及香蕉香混合,甫上台已經聞到香味,隔著半透明的薄餅底下隱若看到切片的香蕉,香蕉應該很夠熟,亦十分軟糯,香蕉味道香甜,但如果香蕉份量可以多一些會更好。…Read More

澳門遊第二站到了牛記咖哩美食,我們先吃過南屏雅敍吃了叉燒蛋治,順著十月初五街步行到牛記不過數分鐘,入門不久,侍應便急著叫我們下單,應該慣了客人慕名而來吃招牌菜。我點了墨魚餅咖哩腩撈麵和蟹黃撈麵。墨魚餅即叫即煎,和撈麵一起先上枱,墨魚餅熱騰騰,表面金黃,賣相吸引,吃起來十分足料、香脆!咖哩腩跟撈麵是分開上,我咖哩腩香味十分濃烈,我把整碗咖哩腩倒在撈麵上想拌著汁吃,怎料咖哩汁十分嗆喉,香料很重手,不慣吃這麼濃郁的味道,連愛吃辣的友人也受不了,因為味道雖夠香辣但味道太嗆。分量方面,牛腩有四大塊,十分足料,筋腩位置適中。蟹黃麵十分吸引,蟹黃份最雖不算特別多,但勝在蟹黃味道濃郁,拌匀後麵條每根也混合蟹黃香味,一碟真的不夠喉!建議可以點加底。…Read More

和友人到澳門來個美食之旅,早於instagram看過友人貼過南屏雅敍的厚蛋治,被吃過同樣是以厚蛋治厚奄列為招牌菜荃灣嘉樂冰室的我,當然要到南屏雅敍比較一下。南屏雅敘地點不難找,十月初五街一直走到就是,門口有一報紙檔。格局是懷舊冰室的格調,侍應也是上年紀的,統一穿白恤衫,傳統侍應衫,估計應該由餐廳開業做到現在的老伙計。我們被安排坐在樓上,一到樓上便看到南屏雅敍的牌匾,整個格局都好懷舊,好有6,70年代老冰室感覺。我們點了一個叉燒蛋治、沙翁和凍唂咕。餐蛋治吃起來有點冰冷,沒有什麼餘温,亦沒有想像中厚實,唯獨蛋味夠濃,麵包夠柔軟,叉燒甜度剛好。沙翁應該是放久了,因為是最後一個,沙翁沾滿砂糖,吃起來味道充滿蛋香,味道很配合,而且份量剛好$6一個。這一餐吃的不僅是味道,更是老情懷,值得推薦一試,或經過時買走一個沙翁試試…Read More

open rice有65折,地點幾就腳,就決定試下。我地被編排坐喺大堂位,要行過一條較狹窄的門口才可入去拎食物,而且較暗,坐位亦無坐入面舒服。建議訂坐時要求坐入面。食物種類較少,有生蠔,但不是即開,是冰鎮,壽司有三文魚、吞拿魚、魷魚。燒烤吧有燒牛柳、預先燒好的茄子、粟米,羊架。中菜有比目魚、避風堂炒蟹、清炒時蔬等。冷盤方面,有紐西蘭生蠔,夾到尾幾隻都好瘦,不過refill得好快。三文魚肥美。熱盤種類少,比目魚煮得非常好食,沒有過老,避風塘炒蟹辣味太重太搶,肉種沒鮮味,蟹肉老,不值一試。羊架亦有點over cook。唯一好吃是燒牛柳,但廚師每次切也切得太薄片,另外推薦粉麵,我淨吃了一碗菜、魚蛋和金菇,加上少許炸蒜,蝦酥,即刻好香,湯底超好味。埋單350位,真係靠食蠔回本,中規中舉,如果正價488食,可以吃其他。…Read More

募名而來食海鮮,怎料雞煲跑出了!

開左account四年,第一次試下寫食評,利申:非試食活動,純粹分享,覺得雞煲真係好好食特別而試寫。與友人於閒日星期四晚上朝著海鮮火鍋的名而來,我們約了晚上九時,很準時便可以入坐。一來到便有店員殷勤招呼,問我們之前有否吃過,是否清楚吃法。我們都是首次光顧,店員細心地拿上自助Bar上的麻辣雲耳及酸蕎頭。前菜味道不錯,絕不馬虎。隨即上了雞煲,我們選了BB辣,一開蓋已經嗅到麻辣香,那種香,不嗑鼻,很香很惹味。我們依照店員的教法,在八分鐘裡炒雞幾次,終於可以吃了!男朋友先嘗一口,已經讚口不絕,雞肉沒有一味「死咸」,也沒有猛勁的「死辣」,醬汁濃郁而且嫩滑。我本身也是一位雞煲控,吃過很多間出名的雞煲,但我也被這裡的雞煲深深吸引!兩口子很快便吃光了所有雞,值得一提的是雞件中有約四個雞腿位,較少雞背雞頸位,十分足料。我們看到網上說煮雞煲時會附上牛栢葉、尤魚,但我們提醒了三次,店員才上,如果在一開始炒雞炒到尾聲時會好點,因為我們炒熟了雞件才加牛栢葉,令雞件因再被加熱,稍為變乾了一點,失去了肉汁。建議吃的時候到齊牛栢葉時才炒,炒到最後三分鐘才下牛栢葉。到上海鮮湯底,我們選了蟹鍋,兩個人有半隻大肉蟹,肉蟹的蟹蓋好多膏,十分驚喜,湯底配上蕃茄薯仔,我嘗了一口湯,湯底十分鮮味,我立馬把海鮮拼盤(是日海鮮拼盤有尤魚、龍躉、脆脘、象拔蚌、海蝦、兩種蜆)中的龍躉帶正骨部份放入鍋中一併熬,令湯底更鮮味。各類海鮮皆十分新鮮,喜出望外的是尤魚!介了花的尤魚十分厚身,灼一分鐘剛好,十分鮮味彈牙,我Encore了幾次。其他配料方面,手打墨丸及韮菜餃值得一讚,前者彈身足料,啖啖墨丸肉,韮菜餃吃下去應該不止韮菜吃得出還有其他蔬菜,味道特別,不馬虎。而響鈴較失準,不脆,而且有少許油益味,魚皮看起來十分薄身,但吃起來不夠脆。最後甜品是椰汁燕窩燉蛋白,味道豐富,蛋白超滑,惟椰汁味稍重,略甜。上枱是仍然熱騰騰,應該是剛燉好,誠意可加。全晚服務尚可,店員態度親切,而且加單上食物快而準,沒有錯漏。…Read More
