I recently celebrated my Godmother's birthday at L'Envol which was quite impressive.A standout aspect of our visit was the exceptional service provided by our waiter, J. From the moment we were seated, he greeted us with a warm smile and maintained a friendly demeanor throughout our meal, even accompanying us to the door when we left. His attentiveness made us feel truly valued as guests.What impressed me the most was his ability to connect with my Godparents. Upon noticing them conversing in Indonesian, he seamlessly switched to their language, providing service in Indonesian for the entirety of our meal. 今晚屋企有啲事，唔能夠早食飯，但係餐廳8:40 仲有位，我同屋企人就嚟咗呢度，坐低想快快脆嗌個6人餐。不過想落餐嗰陣，個男侍應又嗌後面個阿姐（姓林）講落單，阿姐又施施然先行埋嚟，然後話賣晒龍躉魚個6人餐冇魚賣，－係你轉蠔，或者散嗌其他嘢啦。其實龍躉魚（$699) 同蠔價錢 差唔多貴一倍，阿姐叫我哋轉，佢緊係冇問題啦。我話如果例牌6隻3百幾，佢係要比返10隻啦，佢話入去問廚房未必肯，人哋都收工啦，你散嗌其他嘢啦。（其實我唔明個邏輯，點解廚房收工同嗌我散叫其他嘢食會有關係）我問你哋last order 幾點，佢話9pm, 我話依家都未夠9點，佢話唔係咁計架，人哋廚房9點真係收爐，所以依家8點4 0幾分，我哋真係唔應該接你order 架，我話咁樣你哋點解唔落閘，仲比我哋入嚟？跟著阿姐話，問廚房其實係好麻煩架，又唔知廚房點。我話你入去問咗先得唔得？佢滿眼不耐煩嘅眼神，然後入咗去。我真係唔明點解order 野食要咁辛苦咁勞氣。結果我哋都係成功落咗單，不過呢個林性阿姐眼神充滿怨氣，佢望住我哋張枱，同佢隔離個（相對後生啲嘅）男侍應分享我哋呢枱嗌餐嘅麻煩嘢。我真係surprised 點解可以咁明目張膽咁樣講客是非。於是我叫呢個阿姐行埋嚟，我問佢叫乜嘢名，佢話佢姓林，有咩事，我話，無嘢，想睇吓佢嘅服務質素可以有幾好。然後佢問我佢服務有咩問題，我話我只係想留意下啫，冇咩特別。隔咗10幾分鐘，9成食物都上晒枱，我再問個男侍應你哋幾多點關門，佢就望都唔望我，邊行邊走話，我哋係收10點嘅。我明白個個人都想準時收工，個個人都怕麻煩，但係今時今日，香港食肆生意咁低迷，咁多餐廳酒樓執笠，香港呢啲侍應仲係咁唔爭氣，用呢啲態度鼓勵顧客唔幫襯佢哋。我都好想個問下個老闆點解可以咁。…Read More

When we arrived, there were plenty of empty tables, as expected. My friend selected a table facing the street, and I sat parallel to her so we could both enjoy the view.Unfortunately, the manager approached us in a rather blunt manner, stating that the restaurant expected more customers and that we might need to share our table, even though it was a four-person table with just the two of us. This dining experience was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. The initial plan was a birthday celebration dinner with two friends at a restaurant that advertised a two-hour dinner time limit, with the possibility of extension if circumstances allowed. Given the celebratory nature of the occasion, we requested an extra hour, which the restaurant readily agreed to.However, this agreement seemingly wasn't communicated effectively to the waitstaff. Throughout the meal, servers repeatedly cleared our plates and glasses, even before we had finished our main course. To make matters worse, the birthday cake arrived prematurely, adding insult to injury. Despite informing three different servers of the restaurant's agreement to extend our dining time, the relentless clearing of the table created a stressful and uncomfortable atmosphere.The entire meal was marred by this unwelcome pressure and lack of consideration. What should have been a joyful birthday celebration turned into a deeply disappointing experience. In the future, I will be far more cautious when choosing a restaurant, ensuring such incidents don't spoil future celebrations. 朋友生日，我地想試吓呢間。結果⋯因為第一次去，想問問服務員有什麼推介，服務員1，不停推介最貴嘅當日的全條鮮魚刺生。本人已經表達想吃雜錦刺身 assorted sashimi，因為想試吓唔同款。再問其他食物意見，服務員回覆，隨你喜歡吧！明顯態度變差，唔知公司係咪迫使服務員追 sales target。當日嗌左7個dishes，張枱好迫。烤牛肋骨嘅木板凸咗出台邊，服務員2夾硬行入去我地同隔籬枱嘅位置，結果我哋嘅烤牛肋骨成盤翹起咗，好彩D牛肉冇飛出街。雖然有講用餐90分鐘，而服務員3亦都趕緊比張單我地埋，我好趕咁埋咗張單，諗住去完廁所就即刻離開。結果我去完廁所，我個朋友已經比人趕咗出門口等。其實我去個廁所都係幾分鍾。呢餐食咗＄1207。 食咗90分鐘，食到一肚氣！…Read More
