響九龍灣返工,星期五下午同同事食飯,本來想去旁邊食泰國嘢,但 booking full 曬結果轉去旁邊呢間。點嘢嘅時候,menu 有寫住有蒸飯、羽衣甘藍菜肉餃、湯麵,9 個人睇完 menu,決定曬,點菜嘅時候侍應先話,冇蒸飯、冇菜肉餃。好,即轉,點完唔到一分鐘,響廚房出返嚟話:冇湯麵。等咗 10 分鐘,嘢食開始到,不過啲組合亂七八糟。叫口水雞菜飯嘅同事收到口水雞蔥油撈面;叫珍珠菜肉雲吞拼魚蛋米線嗰位就收到碗冇魚蛋嘅米線。同樓面反映,佢仲話:「我叫佢拎走幾隻雲吞先。」擾攘一輪,我叫嘅嘢終於嚟齊。牛筋腩蔥油拌麵個麵同撈汁(甚至腩汁)都淡而無味,生菜鯪魚球食到有碎骨,不過好在未有割親喉嚨。唯一可取嘅係個「夠薑薏米水」,啲薑嘅辣味幾出。一路食,身邊其他食客「唔該有冇乜」、「呢樣又冇吖」等嘅聲音此起彼落,我諗呢間餐廳不如直接改名做「伯母餐廳」比較好。…Read More

一直以嚟都好喜歡食川菜,但係平時去開嘅菜館動輒消費都三幾百起跳。聽聞銅鑼灣金鳳附近有間新開嘅川菜館,入面嗰廚師仲係嚟自成都嘅,於是 Call 埋班食開辣嘅同道中人,一行七人去開餐。餐廳以三國演義做主題,菜式名字用咗唔少三國故事名做命名之外,連茶杯都係用仿古高腳杯,幾有特色。冷盤叫咗蒜泥白肉同口水雞,蒜泥白肉個辣響中間嗰團白色嘅蒜泥度,一咬落口有青瓜有肉唔覺辣,但係當蒜泥留響口腔,就感覺到陣陣辣味。口水雞嘅雞係用春雞,相對比較細隻,不過雞肉嫰滑,小小哋當點心。食川菜唔食水煮嘢總會覺得差少少,所以首先叫咗水煮桂魚片同水煮牛。第一轉,兩個辣度都係普通嘅。一般嚟講,香港嘅川菜館都會遷就香港人口味,將辣度下調,普通即係下調後嘅辣度。水煮湯汁內有薯粉、芽菜、青瓜,水煮魚嘅魚食落有少少麻,但係唔太辣。相反水煮牛嘅牛肉就好入味,而牛肉汁又滲到落個水煮汁度,令成道菜更好味。食完第一轉普通辣度嘅,立即同侍應話要追加。全台人一致通過要追加水煮牛,中辣。另外由於水煮牛入面嘅薯粉太好味,所以要求加底(加多 $32)。呢個時候侍應仲講笑話,你要加乜都得,午餐肉都得。不過我哋當然唔會糟蹋呢份咁好食咁有水準嘅水煮牛啦。中辣係辣過普通辣度嘅,朋友們開始食到有啲反應,流嘅汗更加多。不過由於在座眾人都有去成都出差嘅經驗,都仲係覺得同成都嘅辣度差少少,決定下次再去要食大辣。平時響香港食開川菜,埋單每人三幾百起跳,不過今次收到張帳單認真驚喜,七個人食咗咁多嘢,每人圍起只係 $230。性價比咁高,值得推薦,我哋全台人都話一定會再返去挑戰大辣。…Read More

趁假期同女朋友去老夫子餐廳食個晚飯。細個去睇醫生、牙醫,診所總會有一疊老夫子畀我慢慢睇,久而久之一啲經典嘅標題,例如《耐人尋味》、《出神入化》、《膽大包天》等均朗朗上口。配合餐廳主題,餐廳放咗老夫子同佢幾個好朋友嘅人像響度畀大家拍照,即使擺咗成年幾個角色依然保養得幾好,望落相當新淨。菜單上所有嘅菜式都用咗老夫子嘅經典標題命名,好彩每種選擇下面加返解釋,否則每碟都變《耐人尋味》。長假期之前想食吓肉,所以決定叫個鐵板牛柳餐,配埋湯同特飲,於是決定叫埋南瓜湯同波羅黑鑽石特飲,另外再叫個焗田螺做小食。特飲波羅黑鑽石,個杯上面嗰舊棉花糖認真過癮,好似以前去嘉年華食嗰啲咁。一倒支雪碧落去棉花糖就溶落菠蘿同涼粉度,甜上加甜。提提大家,呢杯嘢嗰舊棉花糖會搞到張痴笠笠,點咗之後檯面記得唔好再放手機,否則有排清理。焗田螺,有少少估唔到田螺已經剝咗殼,下面嗰舊係蘑菇嚟。個薯蓉牛油味好香濃,好好食。南瓜湯味道濃郁,而且湯水亦相當濃稠,感覺好飽,所以同女友兩個人分咗佢。黑椒牛柳(Medium),牛柳外層煎得香脆,切落去仲有肉汁,咬落又有肉香,相當好吃。在餐廳內食嘢,除咗食物外,當然要欣賞吓呢度啲裝修。好多老夫子嘅經典漫畫都拎嚟曬大咗整玻璃或其他裝修,亦有立體古董跑車模型卡位,值得慢慢欣賞。…Read More

位於鰂魚涌基利路(實際上近康怡出口)嘅屋台屋係東區老店,響基利路超過 20 年。午市光顧,入座即有日式蒸蛋(好似只限頭唔知幾多位),蒸蛋嫰滑,可以一邊食一邊慢慢睇餐牌。套餐好有特色係一份主食 + 一份小食,主食有拉麵、烏冬等可選擇,小食可以選擇沙律、刺身飯、壽司等多款不同菜式。通常我唔想諗太多,就會食醬油拉麵 + 刺身飯。醬油拉麵湯底明顯飲得出冬菇、鰹魚的味道,醬油不會太濃掩蓋了那種鮮味。湯底的平衡做得很好。至於叉燒,該店曾使用滷豬頸肉做叉燒,但近月重新使用五花腩捲成圓條狀的叉燒,肥肉入口即溶,相當好吃。如果響鰂魚涌、太古,想搵間靜靜地又有質素嘅餐廳,不妨考慮去屋台屋。…Read More

數碼港位處港島一隅,一向是港島人嘅後花園,泊車去商場然後去戲院睇戲,出外面行陣公園,咁就可以消磨大半日。不過數碼港一向問題就係缺乏比較似樣,價錢又合理嘅餐廳,因此睇戲之外食嘢就要走返出去。今日又係過去睇戲,見酒樓旁邊開咗「金記客棧」,於是睇完戲,食埋飯先走。呢間嘢特別在有燒味供應,於是例牌叫叉燒切雞嚟食。叉燒肥瘦適中又夠滑,仲有小燭台響下面暖碟,吹多陣水都無怕啲叉燒凍咗,幾好。有兩份肉當然要整返份菜,蒜蓉西蘭花呢類簡單得嚟可以好大鑊嘅菜就最好。嚟到見到炒得幾靚,食落又唔覺好多油,唔錯。素食成為潮流,好多餐廳為照顧素食人士都推出咗素食碟頭飯,呢度都唔例外。上面食咁多肉,叫埋呢個碟頭飯,有番茄煮蛋有白飯,拎嚟送飯送菜送肉更開胃。整體而言,金記進駐數碼港係好事嚟,最少去數碼港睇戲後,唔需要走返出去食嘢,亦唔需要局食牡丹樓。…Read More

同朋友去咗大尾督 Pataya 食泰菜,間舖嘅廚師全部泰國嚟㗎!首先叫咗一道「芭提雅酸芒骨香魚($188)」,廚師將條魚起骨拆肉,炸完再放返落碟,旁邊再配酸芒沙律。將沙律同魚一齊食,酸酸哋唔會覺得油膩。另外,即使濕濕地嘅沙律同炸魚擺埋一齊,都唔會搞到啲魚濕曬,一 pat pat,廚師有留意到呢啲細節,想當值得讚讚!食嘅另一道菜係「泰式曹池珍寶大頭蝦」($228 兩隻),開邊後加入紅咖哩醬汁,相當惹味。隻大頭蝦真係成隻碟咁大隻,啖啖肉。(唔係龍蝦嚟,我對龍蝦敏感,一食就會痕,但係都食得呢隻大頭蝦!)食泰菜,冇冬蔭功湯總會好似差少少咁,所以一於叫埋個湯。睇返入面啲料,蝦殼相當大塊,應該係用大頭蝦熬出嚟,另外亦相對足料。…Read More

推門進入金記冰室,淡綠色的檯面、靠牆的高背卡座、馬賽克紙皮石地磚,還有一句「歡迎入內 冷氣開放」,整個環境已經把我帶回 70、80 年代。既然懷舊,於是從乒乓球拍上的菜單中選擇了保衞爾牛肉汁和咖喱斑塊農夫包。保衛爾牛肉汁(Bovril)是以前茶餐廳供應的一種經典飲品,以含牛肉成份的調味料開水而成。自英國爆發瘋牛症,牛肉產品絕跡香港後已難以一嚐。現在金記提供的牛肉汁是以酵母萃取物製成,大家可以無懼瘋牛症,放心飲用(適合素食人士)。牛肉汁的味道是否好味,實在見仁見智,我覺得有點像喝涼茶的味道,可以一試。主菜嘗試咖喱斑塊農夫包,餐廳非常貼心地把農夫包一分為二,上半可以慢慢切成小塊,點著旁邊的咖喱汁吃,下半則可以用麵包夾著咖喱、斑塊、炒飯一起吃!一道主菜,雙重享受。咖喱汁住得相當濃稠,很香,不辣,相當適合伴麵包吃。今次點的食物沒有令我失望,甚至更有驚喜,以後希望再去試試其他菜色。…Read More

久仰其名,與女友去鴨寮街買物後,從深水埗步行前往位於荔枝角道的美味餃子店。到達店鋪的時候約八時半,剛巧有客人埋單離座,稍稍等員工收拾檯面後便能坐進去。在店內,看見兩位員工忙著包餃子,貨如輪轉,賣完一盤又一盤,果然名不虛傳。剛想叫馳名的白菜餃,但是已經賣光,只好退而求其次,叫了一客韭菜湯餃及椰菜雲耳煎餃。先到的是湯餃,湯底是野葛菜湯,喝一口湯已經嚐到淡淡的野葛菜味。再吃餃子,餃子的皮煮得剛剛好,一咬就破,咬破之後肉汁徐徐流出,與菜湯湯底混為一體,更覺鮮甜好味。吃完一隻沒加調味的餃子,立即再來一隻。這次薰一點醋,沾一點辣醬,開胃醒神!吃過幾隻湯餃後,剛煎好的椰菜雲耳煎餃便端了上來。金黃色的餃子煎得剛剛好,不像拉麵店的餃子總是燶得黑了一大片。可惜可能煎餃的油用得比較多,餃子的皮煎著煎著變得有點像炸,結果皮有點韌,有點硬,很難才咬得開。豬肉混了椰菜和雲耳,咬下去偶有雲耳的口感,非常特別。在湯餃與煎餃之間,我會選擇湯餃——店鋪用的湯與餃子相當匹配,清清淡淡,簡簡單單的晚餐就可以了。吃太多的油會很容易變胖。…Read More

幾個月前已經去過博多一幸舍吃原味豬骨拉麵,昨日看完電影 10:00 左右四處找吃,餐廳關門的關門,某快餐店也沒有火鍋供應,附近某名牌拉麵店亦大排長龍,於是再度光臨博多一幸舍。既然上次吃過原味豬骨拉麵,這次決定品嘗他們的特別款式——黑拉麵和赤拉麵。赤拉麵是在拉麵店的湯底上,淋上明太子油。豬骨湯加上魚香,還有一點點辣味,更開胃更醒神。以前直接食明太子,可能明太子的品質不好,總會有一點淡淡的腥味;本來點這個赤拉麵的時候也有此擔憂,但當拉麵來到面前,飲了一口湯,擔憂便一掃而空。建議進食時可加上檯面放著的紅薑絲和蒜蓉,消除那種油油的感覺。吃過赤拉麵後,意猶未盡,於是幫女友完成她點的黑拉麵(吃完辣東西後有徹底喝水消除辣辣的感覺,以示公允)。黑拉麵是在原有的湯底上加上黑芝麻醬,跟平常用來拌沙律的不同,這是黑芝麻醬。實際上感覺有點像把芝麻糊加到湯底上(不過是鹹的)。未吃拉麵先喝湯,湯一進口腔已經嚐到濃郁的芝麻香味,可惜回甘卻帶有一點炒燶了的味道(這個味道同煮芝麻糊黏底後一樣),這點令芝麻豬骨湯大大扣分。由於黑拉麵最重要的湯底不好,只是隨便把麵和叉燒吃了填飽肚子就算。假如黑拉麵沒問題,味道方面我會給它 5 分;現在因芝麻湯底扣一分。如果從赤、黑兩者中二擇其一,我會選赤拉麵。…Read More

公司在太古坊,為歡送同事,我選擇了位於船塢里東達中心的「囍點」。去「囍點」可以叫套餐,也可以叫小菜。但為免同事們出現「選擇困難症」,我特別預訂了人頭價 $85 的「神秘餐」。「神秘餐」必須提早預約,訂檯時餐廳會問你有甚麼不能吃(例如我因為敏感,特別聲明不能吃龍蝦和蟹),然後由餐廳方面安排,食客只要到時到候去開飯就可以了。先登場的是「麻婆肉鬆燒豆腐」,不太辣,很香,送白飯一流!用石鍋上相當保溫,即使在檯面放了一段時間還是相當的熱。然後是「蛋黃脆蝦球」,鹹蛋黃包著足料鮮蝦,咬下去兩者融為一體。有些食肆做類似的菜色,或許因為成本所限用的蛋黃相當少,但「囍點」的蛋黃醬很多,各位同事吃完後還有鹹蛋黃醬可以拿來送飯。胡椒脆香骨,有台灣夜市的風味。豬軟骨好咬口,夠牙力可以吃點豬軟骨。野菌雲耳扒菜苗和腰果野菌炒雞球也相當好吃。吃過小菜後,更奉送糖水雪耳木瓜糖水,雪耳膠質豐富,木瓜鮮甜,相當清潤。「囍點」其中一個賣點是食物不用味精,撰寫這篇食評是膳後半小時,未感到口乾、頭暈,我相信他的聲明是真的。要再去,我也會推薦「神秘餐」,直至小菜端上來前也不知道的神秘感相當好;而且價錢合理,例如今天我們 5 人去吃午飯,吃的小菜價錢每人大概 $83,但白飯、例湯、甜品的價錢均沒有算進去。把那些雜項加進去以後,大概每人要 $100,但現在只需 $85,抵食!加插一個笑話,侍應拿了蛋黃脆蝦球來,同事問她:「這是甚麼?」侍應答:「我也不知道⋯⋯」看來「神秘餐」神秘得連侍應也不知道呢 ^^…Read More
