由於小妹家在黃大仙,所以和家人外出用膳時也往往會圖方便在區內解決。這店所處位置較僻靜,而我們又覺得店名不好記,家人愛戲稱它為「山卡啦意粉屋」。說實話,此店給我的第一印象並不好。那時候,意粉太硬、調味過鹹,最要命是侍應的服務態度像極了舊式茶餐廳。不知怎的,父母似乎頗欣賞此店的食物,還多次光顧。後來我終於對它改觀,還想著要為它寫一篇食評。光顧了大概二十次以上吧!都數不清了。有時不是堂食,是爸爸拿了家裏的金屬盛器買外賣,還滿臉笑容的和那位當侍應的大叔攀談起來,大叔叫他「快樂外賣仔」。爸爸從大叔口中得知以下事情:創業的是這餐廳的大廚,而大叔是他的舅父,正職是在港鐵做維修員。為了這盤生意,動員了家族很多人力在工餘時幫忙,胼手胝足只為省下聘請人手的錢。此店已經經營了四年,總算繼續生存下來。令我改觀的不只是食物,還有這位大叔。他的脾氣收歛了不少,我開始不害怕他了。在剛過去的星期天,我們又光顧了此店。蒜香海鮮意粉幾乎是每次必點。有青口、蝦、小魷魚和蜆,意粉有嚼勁,蒜蓉很香。是日烤肉伴薯角。這天的烤肉是牛排,頗熟,有嚼勁但不硬,沒有咬不開的筋,肉味濃。茄汁意式肉丸長通粉,也不錯。加二十元可享用一款甜品。這是意式奶凍,表面是我最愛的朱古力醬,純白奶凍裏頭有很多顆雲尼拿籽,大大提升了甜品的香氣。奶凍質地軟滑、奶味香濃,吸引我下次品嘗其他甜品。我也喜歡此店的蕃茄醬忌廉汁燴蜆肉三文魚耳仔粉和蒜香海鮮忌廉墨汁意粉。「紅汁」和「白汁」大家很熟悉,混合起來卻別有一番風味。至於墨汁意粉,很不錯,但每次吃完我都要用力漱口和徹底清潔雙唇。總的來說,此店的服務和食物質素都比以前進步,而且水準也維持得很好。建議大家午市時間光顧,價格很漂亮。它未必值得專誠前來,但若因某事來到黃大仙順便用膳,它是個好選擇。…Read More

細佬喺外國讀書嗰陣,成日話好想食日本拉麵,叫我喺香港試勻佢,然後帶佢去食喎!我都好想幫佢,但係香港人鍾意嘅日本拉麵,通常都係濃厚又重膠質嘅豬骨湯底,自己個胃又唔爭氣……試咗幾間就頂唔順,但覺得豚王都唔錯。呢日一家人去開沙田,就還細佬一個心願啦!首先介紹豚王。湯底好香豬骨味,膠質未算太重,幾啱我口味。翠王,加入新鮮羅勒葉同埋大量芝士粉,似fusion菜,味道幾特別,都唔錯。黑王好杰好鹹,據講落咗墨魚汁。喂!要有海鮮嘅鮮味唔需要鹹到嘔㗎!黑王鹹到嘔,赤王就辣到嘔。辣到根本食唔出碗麵有其他味。如果你無辣不歡,可以一試。個人就喜歡一風堂嘅赤丸,微辣得嚟有層次感。結論係,原味最好食。想變吓款?翠王啦!其他就咪搞。為咗款原味,值得嚟一次。…Read More

本應用膳後盡快寫食評,現在卻隔了個多月……沒法子,認真寫食評實在太累人了!然而這確實是一家好店,值得我翻開記憶的抽屜。那天父親聽了同事的介紹,帶我們一家到屯門這食店吃海鮮。店子對面有一列海鮮檔,我們要先在那裏買海鮮,再由食店烹煮。選哪一檔較好?又是父親同事的介紹:那家「楊合利」價錢公道。我們選了鮑魚、花蟹,還有蟶子。店主說多送兩尾魚和一小堆蜆給我們喝蕃茄薯仔魚湯,簡直求之不得。舍弟點的黑椒石窩鮑魚非常惹味,鮑魚肉質結實彈牙、味道鮮甜。接下來該到蒸花蟹上場了。之前我和舍弟為蟹的烹煮配料爭論不休:我希望用花雕蛋白而舍弟堅持要吃梅子蒸蟹,結果……還是遂他的願。原來他十多年前曾在某店吃過這道菜,自此念念不忘,試問我怎忍心不讓他重温舊夢?此蟹確實滋味無窮,肉質結實且有鮮味,沾了酸酸甜甜的梅子汁簡直絕配。豉椒炒蟶子聽起來沒什麼特別,但以煎過的粉絲墊底(沒錯,類似兩面黃)你又嘗試過沒有?廚師特地勾了一個黏稠的芡汁來配米粉,對我來說口味確實新鮮。蟶子一點也不韌,非常爽口。其實吃過的這三道菜,火侯都控制得剛剛好,值得一讚。差點漏了說蕃茄薯仔魚湯,是用海鮮檔檔主送的兩尾小小的魚和連尖煲成。湯色奶白、魚味濃郁。最後還有食店送的桂花紅豆糕作結!…Read More

冇諗過第一次寫食評就出師不利,編輯話食評只准講D嘢好唔好食,而唔係講服務質素,所以未獲審批。我覺得呢間嘢都算係用服務質素影響我嘅味覺。好啦,內容就唔改,不過篇嘢唔係食評,今次得啦啩!本人係現崇山居民,間嘢啱啱開業嘅時候食過兩次,然後就將佢放係永不錄用名單。因為侍應騎呢,嘢又難食。不過今日阿媽同細佬話畀多次機會佢,點知成個過程我竟然好失禮咁扯咗兩次火,而家仲寫埋人生第一篇食評。係咁嘅,個女侍應啱啱上工,我哋問佢餐牌上嘅澳門X山(我唔記得X係咩字)即係咩嘢汁,佢以為我哋要落單,搞到我哋要解釋:「只係想知澳門X山即係乜嘢?」佢即刻去廚房問,我聽到廚房答佢:「吉列豬扒飯或者意粉」,佢真係就咁覆述番畀我聽,我火都嚟埋,提高聲調:「我係問……」阿媽即刻勸我唔好再問,我先至壓低聲線:「澳門X山即係咩呀?」落完單,老闆娘問佢我哋食咩,我哋估佢可能淨係聽完之後就咁講俾廚房聽,冇寫低。然後佢又逐樣問番我哋嗌咗乜。餐湯,凍嘅。跟住我個焗肉醬意粉嚟到,一睇,我又激氣,但唔敢大聲:「我講咗幾多次,肉醬意粉要走芝士呀?」(我同媽真係講咗幾次)細佬即刻制止我:「你唔驚佢哋加料咩?」侍應收番,廚房即刻塞咗個冇芝士喺面嘅意粉畀佢。個意粉好明顯冇焗過,暖暖地,都唔熱,今次唔敢再出聲。公平D講,食物真係進步咗,起碼冇咁難食。不過好替老闆擔心,咁做生意點得呢?我會收斂吓D脾氣㗎!…Read More

某天,我和家人在尖沙咀閒逛,舍弟忽然眼前一亮,因為他看到了這家勾起他兒時回憶的餐廳。那時候我們還在唸小學,寶軒在太古城開了分店。對於一對幼小的姊弟來說,住所附近出現一所陌生的、充滿異國風情的食肆,確是非常新鮮的事兒。當年寶軒帶給我的味覺震撼,至今難忘。後來太古城店食物質素下降,最終結束營業。沒想到多年後舍弟忽然來了重温舊夢的興致,在兩個月前光顧了一次。那次我沒有同行。他形容咖哩味道的層次豐富得令人感動,各種香料的比例和配搭都天衣無縫。今天,我們一家和幾位親戚都來到這裏,且看水準如何。點菜由舍弟負責,首先上桌的是頭盤 ― 咖哩角。與之搭配的有兩種醬料,一種帶甜,另一種是薄荷味的。個人喜歡薄荷味的,因為較清新;姨母喜歡帶甜的那種,她覺得像果醬。切開可看見裏頭的羊肉碎,羊肉偏瘦,用了一些茴香調味,倒也不俗。此店另有蔬菜口味供選擇,記憶中蔬菜口味更好,裏面是馬鈴薯,配合咖哩、青豆和茴香的味道,風味殊佳。接著便是主菜,有蕃茄咖哩雞、菠菜羊肉和白咖哩羊肉,水準都不錯。蕃茄和菠菜都是打成茸的,而白咖哩就是用打碎的腰果煮成,風味跟一般香港人所認知的咖哩有所差別,用薄餅和瘦長的印度飯配搭著吃是一種享受。有些印度餐廳會把不同的咖哩菜式煮成差不多的味道,但這裏絕對不會出現這樣的情況。若要挑甚麼缺點,便是羊肉稍嫌欠嫩。然後來了一道印度烤雞 (Tandoori Chicken), 這道菜,肉質保持嫩滑而帶水份是不容易的,但這裏做到了。大家還有點意猶未盡,多點了一份馬沙那(Masala)雞肉咖哩。舍弟說,這頓午餐整體來說比上次他激讚的晚餐差了。他估計晚市下廚的是那位經驗較豐富的廚師,午市則由他的助手負責。吃好東西真要靠點運氣!順帶一提:我們發現其中一個冷氣出風口滿佈灰塵,而下面是一張桌子。我本想把它拍下來,但被家人阻止,原來他們都害怕此店會因此關門大吉!…Read More
