第一二次來光顧時還未見招牌(大概是一個多月前),近日經旺角終見大大的金漆招牌,十分醒目!第一次燒烤的選擇都差不多......有燒韭菜(?)為免出意外,我還是保守點,試雞軟骨串吧.烤爐的火看似不太旺,但塗上香料就飛來陣陣香味,野味!"小姐,你食得辣?"en...OK"真的?"...OK...你賣重慶燒烤,當然能吃辣才來光顧你啦~父子倆一臉似警告過我的樣子,另一邊抽出他們的秘製辣醬,輕輕掃點,不久就燒好了.我還以為只是加了一點點辣,初嚐沒甚麼.但那股辣卻慢慢地由食道喉嚨.反攻上舌頭嘴唇......辣死我了!最後......我又喝水又吃勁X香口糖才能勉強退辣.重慶,我沒去過.但和四川的麻+辣比較,這個絕對是獨辣的俵俵者!第二次朋自遠(北)方來,特意帶來這裏試試本港極辣.一串雞腎,(強調)要加多點秘製辣醬!友人只命能吃辣,但吃罷三十秒後,連冷汗也出來了~快買水撲火P.S燒烤的等待需時,但這一家人都很健談,聊幾句,可以消磨時間,蠻有趣的父看魚蛋湯面,仔操烤爐,母作後援.很有人情味的店,一定再Encore!下次試試韭菜吧~…Read More

貼在門口的剪報大字:隱世日店.確是幾隱世,閒日八半前,店面必有位--位於負兩層地庫,多家裝潢更注目的日式餐館之下.店面也不大,侍應也不像其他分店(連鎖?)經營的多是年輕人,活像家庭式經營的居酒屋,播著日台節目,擺滿清酒--老店+人情味.由於可食力不高,點了一個定食+友人強烈推薦的日式燒餅.先送上的是定食:薑汁豬肉飯.說實話嚐不到甚麼薑味,洋蔥味則較重.肥瘦豬肉,但芡汁調配得不到位,吃不出滋叶,飯也只是溫熱......難怪一盆定食那麼快就能上台.日式燒餅姍姍來遲,侍應提醒我們要小心熱.只見木魚一動動,我已按奈不了心急.一嚐,驚為天人!比起坊間的燒餅,這店的燒餅較薄身.用的是幼木魚,剛好撒滿一層.麵粉的份量和野菜配合得很好,不會吃粉多於吃菜.餅亦不會太油膩,燒汁也不會太多而讓人生吃醬餅的感覺--用恰到好處來概括,讚!(結果,我吃至出汗==||)有下一次的話,會去試一試拉麵.蛋包飯,還有必食:燒餅!…Read More

adrienne.x The reason why there is no cheese flavour on the saucebecause the sauce is not made out of cheese, its a "hollandaise" sauce made out of butter and egg yolks. No cheese at all. It is obvious that an eggs benedict is very new to you.

門口細.店內大.坐位擠.侍應忙.最大問題是--餐牌上的餸菜寥寥可數.餐牌可點的少,師傅可以批量製作,省了時間,五餸不久就上齊了,足見美式快餐的效率(或是香港獨有文化:中西合璧?)大哥叉燒怎麼也不及太興的好,只好求其次,試一試醬油雞(例)但肉質很嫩,不會因肉厚而失色.但只有小小一碟半隻,你一塊.我一塊就清碟了,盛惠(近)百五元.砵酒鱔煲熱騰騰,鱔塊小小,但十分彈牙,口感一流!只是...酒味何在?不會都揮發了吧?薑蔥美國石蠔煲蠔剛剛一人一隻,美國貨果然夠大,但蠔的鮮味實是愈小愈濃,大蠔的味道始料不及.全煲精髓在於大蔥,配白飯,一流!白露炒野菌熱上但沒有香味的小炒,也要近百元,不值一試/一提.豆苗浸魚腐活像魚旦的魚腐,沒有多少魚味,吃下去像是吃乒乓波--咬空氣==||.菜白湯甜,不錯,但喝後有點渴...最後送上的甜品,紅豆沙不怎麼樣.倒是腐竹薏米夠清甜,不錯.特每人送上一粒芝麻湯圓,喻意中秋團圓.只是這樣極速的團圓飯(不足一小時),令人有點倒胃口而已.見途經的侍應左一籠小籠包.右一碟枸子桂花糕,餐牌上卻隻字不見......難道我們並非貴客名人,連這些家常食物也無緣品嚐.......?總結:廚師的功架一流.服務環境就不濟--Pls give me a FULL menu, OK?…Read More

地小人多,尤其在周末外出,是一件十分疲累的事情...幸虧找到這間Café:)一走進來,其中一侍應(兩人店?)帶位.送上餐牌,沒有說甚麼,也沒有"迫著"客人快落單,讓我們慢慢挑選.落單後,環視店內擺設及裝潢,簡單別緻,少了幾星級的高貴典雅,但多了幾分溫馨簡樸.先送上來的是冒白煙的菌汁雞肉意粉,配菜不多,汁頗濃,意粉煙韌.與坊間樓上咖啡室相比,是超水準之作接著是Panini,大口咬下去,外皮香脆,只可惜芝士味不足,屬OK出品.飲品最後登場:可愛.賞心的Latte(被"分配"熊仔,是身型之過?==)~Ginger Latte給人的感覺很醒神,一改我對Latte只有甜x奶的印象~Cappuccino,不過不失.味道上,M記的更好......罷了,我喜歡兔仔,多於M晚餐能在TST中心區寧靜一角,細味品嚐一件甜品一份意粉或一件三文治,喝一杯可愛賞心的咖啡,細聲暢談,偷得浮生一點點閒,wt's a nice weekend~P.S 再次拜訪,熱騰騰的Apple Pie亦不錯~(注:不好甜品借甭試)熱咖啡還是要Grande的好,Venti是紙杯:(...**Crema在意大利文中指咖啡上的一層奶泡,難怪每杯都別具匠心,果然是店如其名!…Read More

謝師宴後,避開嘩鬼,和好友一二蒲吧去~四方台並不好坐,輾轉還是要坐高圓台--十分適合知已聊天:)推薦平日滴酒不沾的友人Sangria,依舊不太適合--個人覺得果汁味濃.酒味近乎0%,比起"正版",已經很易入口了~(下次你就喝果汁罷了)各要了Classic和Lychee flavour的Mojito(據說Mojito源於古巴),Classic的rum和lime的味很搭,薄荷香味亦很強.醒神的果酸,薄荷的清新,再配上甜甜酒香,總體感覺很不錯.Lychee就略嫌果味太濃,還是Classic最對味:)聊著聊著,Nuts也吃完了,點了Nachos.沾滿Mozzarella cheese的玉米脆片,基本上芝味不濃,但微辣,尚算不錯的開胃小食.雪藏牛肉,沾滿汁,肉是嫰,但味道就不值一提了.最後又點了一杯Jello-o-float,應該解作是"一塊喱啫浮在檸幼沙冰上"吧?又易入口,又解喝,平時不太能喝酒的人可以一試.不覺已經二點多,侍應細心地說:埋單後繼續聊也無妨.哈哈,我們也盡興了,還是不要阻你們執拾放工店門小小,但別有洞天.除了Bar,更有Live Band,下次聽聽情歌,享受一輪南美洲式西班牙菜,也不錯:) Happy Hr--約四點至八點 48/杯,晚八點後68/杯,有點貴,但論服務.裝潢和氣氛,值~一定會再來...!P.S 笑臉不是評給食物,而是餐廳的好服務.好氣氛和...好朋友~…Read More

午飯時分的海港城人山人海,唯獨是這間不擠人,直接進佔窗台雅座,享受周末的陽光扒餐.兩人點了一份268+30的套餐+甜品,擔心不夠填肚,另加了白酒意粉.一上台是套餐的前菜Roasted Shiitake Mushroom,橄欖油,生洋蔥,青椒生菜蘿蔔絲,伴菜就是伴菜,絕不爽口,很地道的歐陸風味沙律--香菇四五粒,那真是烤的嗎?餐包姍姍來遲,微波爐再加熱出品,暖暖的.味道值得一讚!若是新鮮出爐,可以當面包店招牌(法包也是一貫的外脆內軟,總算不是熬夜硬包~)主菜登場--八安士肉眼扒!比起那些被蘇打粉弄至軟嫩嫩,或是一碟都是黑椒/蒜/燒汁作"點綴",Dan這塊看似七成熟的牛扒,肥瘦分明,肉汁都鎖起來了,口感一流!薯條實在可有可無,如此不修邊幅的牛扒,讚!白酒煮意粉,OK.只可惜太飽,90%原裝打包走...==||擾攘一番,甜品來了--脆皮蘋果紅桑子餡餅~~熱果肉餡餅做底,香滑雪糕受熱慢慢溶化.加上甜甜紅桑子醬汁(味道與士多啤朵相若),雖然不知"脆皮"何在,YUMMY~只嫌甜品太小巧,意猶味盡:)全市使用Ben & Jerry雪糕,creamy + milky,當然不錯.細看才知道這是紀念廿周年的SP套餐,難怪餐具都有歲月的痕跡.....老牌餐廳,牛扒顯功架,但服務就要改善一下...人不多要找侍應也難,人客多時不就是連服務都沒有了?幸虧最後(疑似)老板娘出場, 我們終於可以順利埋單離開...…Read More
