性價比一流的周年紀念意大利餐

同女朋友周年紀念,於是就豪少少,訂了 FIAT CAFFE 到食晚餐。其實去到先發覺,就算唔訂枱都好,都唔係太需要等好耐。一入餐廳門口就見到一部 FIAT 500 (唔知係咪) 係到做生照牌,一路食時見到唔少女士同小朋友走埋去架車到影相兼打卡。原本想叫 Openrice 半價二人餐,最後被另一張餐牌上的龍蝦和鱸魚吸引,於是決定放棄有鵝肝慕絲和龍蝦海鮮併盤的二人餐。雖然係有一點兒不同左,無左頭盤和沙律,和 Dark Chocolate Brownie 做甜品,但品嚐完龍蝦和整條鱸魚後,就已經食唔落其他食物。Dinner Set For One 都係唔錯既選擇,頭盤方面,由於紀念日果日都有少少凍凍地,所以兩個人都叫了 Daily Soup。當日的餐湯為南瓜湯,湯入面加左少少黑椒粒等香草調味,幾開胃下,且我地都係鍾意食南瓜既人,所以係幾啱我地胃口;隨湯附上的餐包,應該係殼麥麵包 (食唔出咩種類),食落時有一種像食鬆餅的感覺,算係幾得意。主菜都好快送左上,估唔到的是「焗黑松露蟹籽波士頓龍蝦配闊條麵」係最快送到,諗住食完魚先食龍蝦的。先食闊條麵,感覺很滑和 Creamy。再食龍蝦,由於是開邊焗,基本上用叉和刀已經可以食晒裡面既龍蝦肉。在這裡,我同女朋友唔知餐廳廚師有心定無意,一邊是龍蝦公,另一邊是龍蝦乸……兩邊的肉質各有不同,乸那邊的肉質比較嫩滑和彈牙,而公那邊的肉質則比較實和有咬感。至於黑松露則非常之香,而蟹籽醬好像不用成本的,一大堆的放在龍蝦上,配上檸檬汁,令到整個食物都昇華至另一個層次。第二個來的主菜是「焗原條海鱸魚配檸檬香草蕃茄醬」。完完全全沒有想過整條鱸魚是這麼大,且不要被外面的燶蕃茄誤導以為焗過火,其肉質還是很鮮嫩。不過,可能基於食左濃味的龍蝦先,故品嚐鱸魚時感覺好像很淡身。說真的,食物唔一定要濃味先好食,有時能夠食到食物的鮮味 (原味) 都很重要。此條鱸魚唔算太多骨,且肉質鮮嫩,讓人有種食完想再食多口的感覺。托起魚身的焗薯吸收了魚的鮮味,食落很滋味。食飽飽主菜後,餐廳送上 Daily Dessert,以為是很甜的「Strawberry Mousse With Chocolate Jam」。巧克力醬的甜和草莓的酸味,食落很夾和很清新。這裡真的要稱讚 Fiat Caffe 的 Chef,因為佢令筆者品嚐到有身以來,第一次唔會覺得 Mousse 係甜到膩。後記︰由於鄰枱有叫到餐單上的「香草醬鮮蘆昏雞肉扁意粉」,所以親眼看到好一整隻燒春雞送上似的,下次有機會再來時,會品嚐這個。整體而言, Fiat Caffee 食物和價格的性價比上是合理和一流的。雖然好多人會經過美麗華廣場,同時好多人亦會忽略這所在地下樓層的餐廳,但其食物質素、服務和價格也屬於中上級。對比起那些被車軚人點名的星級餐廳,有時這些沒有星的餐廳其實也可以很好呢!…Read More

因為韓劇《Doctors》原故,加上天寒地凍時食飯沒甚麼胃口,如果食飯時有碗靚湯就無得頂了。其實香港人普遍以快餐為主,但在旺角鬧市中的「湯加」食肆,就讓人多一分的選擇。和朋友行行街肚仔餓,加上天寒地凍沒甚麼胃口,看到有健康湯飯食,於是就進去試下。這裡的湯飯除左DIY湯飯(車仔湯飯)外,還有很多預設的湯飯類,如各地風味湯飯中,有馬來西亞肉骨茶湯飯,冬蔭公海鮮湯飯和胡椒味菜滑雞豬肚湯飯等。因為之前未食過呢間食肆,係未知其他國家風味湯飯好不好吃前,還是點叫了湯飯 DIY的來試。DIY湯飯有分普通材料和貴少少的材料,好像打邊爐火煱的一樣;而最重要的是,有錢可以點叫多D餸,無錢唯有食少D啦!同朋友前後點叫兩個「湯飯 DIY」,一個係魚湯底,材料係西蘭花、魚柳和豬軟骨;另一個係蕃茄湯底,材料係魚腐、生菜、豬潤和腐皮魚角,兩個人都點叫了有機藜麥飯。根據餐牌所講,藜麥飯富有蛋白質、維生素和纖維等,非常有益;由於平日已經食開糙米和燕麥飯,所以食落又沒有甚麼問題,且又幾好口感,不錯。(如食唔慣糙米或燕麥米之人,可以要回靚仔或食麵等。雖然「湯飯 DIY」有點像車仔湯飯,但也要等一段時間才送上,且送上時是暖笠笠的。先說魚湯底的那個湯飯,開頭點叫時以為魚柳同豬軟骨會放晒落個湯到,怎料送上時才知是分開的。不過,這樣也有好處,豬軟骨很濃醬油味,炆得很腍,入口即溶的感覺。魚柳和西蘭花吸收魚湯味道也不錯,很鮮味;唯一缺點是,當日食的魚湯太咸了,飲了幾口就覺得很乾很想飲水。另一個湯飯是蕃茄湯底,這個湯底則有濃濃的蕃茄味,則很清淡,不像濃味的魚湯。腐皮魚角和魚腐則普普通通,反而豬潤則很新鮮,且砌食薄片,不用一大塊一大塊吃,不錯。另一方面,由於係店內見到跟餐可以以平價叫一碟瑞士雞翼,於是亦都叫埋來試。瑞士雞翼的瑞士汁很濃,但雞肉很嫩滑。未知是否雞翼煮了很久或是在瑞士汁內浸了很長時間,雞骨異常的脆,一咬就裂開了。整體而言,兩個湯飯也是 Above Average 的,應該會再次光顧此店,品嚐那個肉骨菜和冬蔭公湯飯呢!…Read More

雖然大學時代係歐洲讀書,但北歐四國中的芬蘭卻從未去過。剛好某公司送出 FINDS 的 Tea Set Coupon,於是同友人一同到此一試 Finland 100th Anniversary Afternoon Tea Set。FINDS 位於尖沙咀帝樂文娜公館,位置其實唔算難搵,只要過左諾士佛臺再步行三分鐘左右就到。進到 FINDS 第一感覺是……很寬敞,枱與枱之間有一定的距離,不像其他酒店餐廳般放置得密密麻麻。由於訂了枱,去到表示邊個訂左枱後,就可以馬上入座;而這裡亦比預期中的擠湧。入座後,唔知 service 果個係 restaurant supervisor 定普通 waiter (之後用 Guest Service 尊重的稱呼),服務態度和細心度可以說去過香港咁多高級餐廳中,其中一間最好的服務。Guest Service 第一時間不是問點甚麼食物,而是因為天氣酷熱關係,第一時間拿了兩杯水和 Sparking Wine 過來給人解渴;之後才慢慢介紹 FINDS 的推介 Finland 100th Anniversary Afternoon Tea Set。在等待 Finland 100th Anniversary Afternoon Tea Set 上枱時,欣賞 FINDS 的餐具也是一種娛樂;之後 Guest Service 送上的鬆餅和玉桂蘋果批,放置後介紹鬆餅和玉桂蘋果批的做法和品嚐方法。Well... 六星級酒店的餐廳唔係間間會咁做的,連簡簡單單的食物都介紹一翻和怎樣食法,服務值得加分。品嚐鬆餅和玉桂批的時候,Selected Savouries 和 Decadent Sweets 已經送到;Guest Service 又再一次慢慢的每一樣食物和食法介紹。Selected Savouries 中包括︰ Spinach Cheese & Potato Tart, Ice-Cellar Salmon with Dill Sauce, Air Dried Beef on Malt Bread, Smoked Trout Roe Treat。 Spinach Cheese & Potato Tart 的芝士味很濃郁,看似很膩,但食後卻沒有這種感覺,芝士及菠菜味道亦能在口內停留一段時間。 Ice-Cellar Salmon with Dill Sauce ( 味道係 Select Savouries 中感覺最美味,比起 Air Dried Beef on Malt Bread 和 Smoked Trout Roe Trea (三文魚籽 Tart),這道精選更顯突出。Air Dried Beef on Malt Bread 雖為風乾牛肉,但食起來肉汁比想像中的多,亦不像其他歐洲風乾肉類般咸和乾身。至於 Smoked Trout Roe Trea 的三文魚籽食落鮮味,而魚籽的腥味配搭 Sauce 後一點也感覺不到。至於甜點 Decadent Sweets,則包括 Lingonberry Tart, Mini Pancake with Raspberry, Baked Lapland Cheese with Cloudberry Sauce, Milk Chocolate Mousse & Sea Buckthorn Berry Cone, Oatmeal & Cranberry Crunch, 和 Cinnamon Custard Roll。雖然芬蘭出左名甜點超甜,但 FINDS 的廚師則將甜到調效至適合亞洲人品嚐。Milk Chocolate Mousse & Sea Buckthorn Berry Cone 的巧克力是偏甜的,但配著芒果汁的酸溜溜的感覺,又真的很特別,沒想到芒果和巧克力是可以這樣配搭的。餐前酒的 sparking wine 在整個進膳中都是一個重要的角色。Sparking Wine 這裡選用比較乾身少甜的 (Brut) ,配上甜點來和魚類為主的 Tea Sea,更將食物的鮮味升華之另一個層次。唯一差少許的是 Selected Savouries 有紅肉,但未至於破壞整個味蕾。餐飲點了 Expresso Macchiato 和 62% Dark Hot Chocolate。Tea Sea 怎能沒有 Expresso 呢?咖啡的苦澀味將剛才甜點的甜味沖去,換來另一種的享受。至於 62% Dark Hot Chocolate,話就話係 Dark Chocolate 但加上棉花糖,仍屬偏甜。係個人立場 80% 或以上先可以稱上 Dark  Chocolate,故感覺是非常之甜。假如你愛吃甜,這個一定能滿足你的需求。整體而言,環境、服務和食物質素其實不下於一些米X蓮餐廳。係到有個小 Tips︰Afternoon Tea Sea 只係 2 人用;同日見到鄰枱訂了三人也只是給二人份,不會額外加食物。…Read More

食 Brunch 唔係歐美先有,係香港,好多人也喜愛食 Brunch。假如你愛食 Brunch,位於中環嘉咸街的 Green Waffle Diner 是其中一個不錯的選。如果經過中環半山扶手電梯,一不留神就會行過 Green Waffle Diner,要搵呢間餐廳記住小心行過龍。另一方面,餐廳因為地點關係,坐位其實不多,如要光顧,也許須要搭枱或等候一段間。這裡的食物雖然選擇不多,其實這樣做先顯得餐廳是否用心做食物。餐牌選擇的食物越少,表示該餐廳不會濫造食品。至於在下,則點叫了「自選窩夫 Creat Your Own Waffle」和「印第安雞肉薯粒鑊仔 Cajun Chicken Skillet」。先說「印第安雞肉薯粒鑊仔 Cajun Chicken Skillet」,縱然 Menu 中寫到有 spicy,品嚐時卻一點也不覺 spicy;加上薯粒是輕微炸過,食時除了有質感外,還有香口的感覺,相當不錯。光顧這店的食客大多數也會點叫薯粒鑊仔,單是當天光顧的時間,至少八成餐桌點品了此食品。另外的「自選窩夫 Creat Your Own Waffle」是這裡的特點,自由配搭自己喜愛的窩夫。當日就自選了「班蘭窩夫 Panlan + 玉桂糖 Cinnemon Sugar + 意式咖啡芝士蛋糕雪糕 Mövenpick Tiramisu」。雪糕這裡有兩個品牌可以選擇,一是 Apollo ,另一個則是 Mövenpick;各人有各人的喜好,而我就點叫了 Mövenpick。窩夫這裡有五種,由於未試過班蘭窩夫,於是點叫來試一試,配埋最愛的玉桂糖和 Mövenpick,食落口時的一冷一熱的冰火感覺,是非筆墨可以形容。唯一美中不足的是,窩夫烘燶了少許,但錯有錯著這令食落時的香口感大增,相當不錯。飲品方面,點叫了這裡的「熱桂花檸檬蜜 Hot Lemon Osmanthus Tonic」和「手工啤酒 Craft Beer」。沒有看錯, Brunch 飲啤酒或無酒精啤酒 (Ale) 先似外國人品嚐 Brunch 的啊!「熱桂花檸檬蜜 Hot Lemon Osmanthus Tonic」桂花味濃郁,蜜糖也很夠味道;假如你不愛太甜的話,記住落單時提提店員下少一點蜜糖,皆因這個熱飲確實幾甜下。另一杯「手工啤酒 Craft Beer」是來自比利時的,不過不保正今次是來自比利時,下次來自那類。「手工啤酒 Craft Beer」味道清淡,也不會像其他啤酒一樣充滿苦澀味;冰凍的啤酒啖啖的麥香,在天氣熱的情況下,是一個不錯的解渴飲料呢!值得一贊是,叫了窩夫和其他食物的話,店員會主動諮詢客人的意見,究竟是窩夫後上還是跟其他食物一併送上;這裡窩心的服務,係香港真的買少見少呢!…Read More

In Hong Kong, there is difficult to find traditional or authentic England food.  However, Brunch Club & Supper should give you England life feeling again.For the decoration, it is very simple and full of England tradition.  If you have lived in England in the previous time, the decoration should be as same as some England bar and pub.  You should feel very comfortable and relax in there.  A nice place for chatting.For the food, ordered, "Mix Grill" and "Brunch Steak & Egg" with my friend.  No drink in there as there haven't had too much signature beer or ale.  However, the cup size in there is as same as England, "BIG".Return to the food, "Mix Grill" seems full breakfast in England.  You should choose "Sun eggs" or "Scrambled eggs".  The waiters are very nice and described the different even we knew it.  Bacon tastes very good and totally different with other restaurant coz it was England style very juicy, not salty and not dry.  The chicken breast, you should smile herbs and BBQ tastes.  Also, it was very thickness, it really suitable for HK lady.  Gammon ham and pork sausage were not too special but also good enough.  On the other hand, homemade whole-wheat sourdough and hash brown were tasted good and not loose.  In general, "Mix Grill" is full for everyone.Another, "Brunch Steak & Egg".  This is my first time to taste "Medium Rare" in Hong Kong.  No matter what, HK restaurants' cooker seems don't know how to cook "Medium Rare".  Once I didn't satisfy this steak was the gravy ... "Port Wine Gravy".  It was broken the taste of rib eye.  Actually, the gravy was good.  My suggestion is separate the grave and rib eye are much better and perfect.  On the other hand, side dishes' green was Eruca Sativa.  The Eruca Sativa wasn't bitter, so it's easy to taste.  Others, potato wedges were perfect.  Although the potato wedges were fired, it didn't too dry and too hot.Generally, this dining made me remember England Life.  If you didn't go England before, you should go there and enjoy England style.  A tip for reader, don't go there too late or without booking coz it has too many diners come there.…Read More

性價比不乎的墟市餐廳

外國回港後,有好多朋友要見面,今次輪到粉嶺區的朋友。朋友見這裡未曾試過,於是下午茶時段到這裡來試一試。睇評語這裡是不錯的,但實際上,和朋友食完後的感覺是「可一不可再」。先不說食物,這裡的服務態度真的有點兒那個;眼見熟客和生客的招待間直是差天共地。我和朋友第一次來食啫,店員的眼神和說話有點兒不肖來消費的樣子。聯和墟有性格的食肆食得多,但這裡未紅先驕的食肆真係第一次體驗到,特別是果句「果杯沙冰黎喎!你真係想叫沙冰?」。我不是不欣賞店員對自己餐廳食物的熟練,但唔該店員也學懂謙虛吖!叫沙冰緊係想飲沙冰啦!唔通叫沙冰係想飲熱咖啡咩!睇 Menu 時,食物的賣相真的不錯,原先滿帶期望,到食時就滿帶唏噓。同朋友點了一個「芝士牛肉厚三文治」和「蕃茄肉醬焗薯蓉 + 牛角包」……唔講食物質素先,店主有無睇過自己 set 個價錢同餐牌上單叫食物時的價錢呢?如不叫特飲,正常單叫好像平過叫餐。(可能係我錯覺)說回正題,「芝士牛肉厚三文治」真係厚三文治,但……真係唔知呢到想整成有飛碟口味既厚三文治,還是厚包厚料的感覺呢?如果是前者,那厚三文治就壓得不夠實;如果是後者,料又有點兒少了點。牛肉和芝士質量和質素其實好普通,但叫做食得飽人。至於另一個「蕃茄肉醬焗薯蓉 + 牛角包」,除左牛角包係OK外,「蕃茄肉醬焗薯蓉 」就麻麻地。食材算是新鮮的,不過不夠 Juicy 但呢個唔怪得餐廳。面層芝士夠厚有口感,但切唔開呢個係咩意思呢?還有一個敗筆點……個肉醬同薯蓉就算攪拌後一齊食,薯蓉依然係好淡身;也許店員為人客健康著想吧。因叫餐關係,同朋友叫了兩個特色飲品,一個玫塊唔知乜野 (唔記得左名唔好意思),香係好香,但淡身過頭。另一杯係苤芽蜜糖沙冰,飲落似好立克沙冰加苤芽粉係面,亦都係淡身過頭嫌無乜蜜糖味。其本上,見店員係有心整食物的;不過我可能真係唔係太識欣賞,特別係俾店員串左句後。另外價錢唔算平,食完後沒有甚麼滿足的感覺,食物不算太出眾,如果是標籤英式食物,那只有意式和外形相似,食物味道還欠奉。同樣既價錢,係同墟市內可以食到更好的,所以應該不會再有下次 。…Read More

不再一樣的炸物

話說兩個人夜晚晚係尖咀睇完戲行完街八點幾九點鐘,諗住黎「勝博殿」應該無咁多人,點知都係等左差唔多廿幾三十分鐘先入到。如果之前唔係有人等唔切走左,我想等得重耐。有樣東西要彈,已經差唔多九點先入到去食,「勝博殿」又收十一點,做乜鬼係九點後進場都要限時個半鐘呢?著實好耐無乜食過炸物,果晚又忽然慶起想食,於是去「勝博殿」。可能太耐無去,都唔知「勝博殿」宜家有二人套餐;對於咁夜想食野又唔想多諗野既人黎講係件好事,於是點叫左「季節二人套餐」同「醬油燒野菌」。同其他食炸物的日式料理店一樣,白飯、椰菜絲和麵豉湯係任叫的;雖然係任叫食物,但是大家都唔好浪費食物。日本珍珠米飯果日唔知係咪個廚師心情唔好定心不在焉,落水多個頭搞到米飯過黏。不過,呢到個椰菜絲和麵豉湯都唔錯,加埋「勝博殿」既獨家醬油,基本上可以食飽人。到前菜了,「醬油燒野菌」加埋檸檬汁,配搭幾新鮮;食落口時唔係太覺得似燒物般乾身,似是錫紙入焗爐焗多一點。正菜既「季節二人套餐」有吉列廣島蠔兩件,炸海蝦兩件,忌廉蟹肉餅一塊,特上豬扒一塊。吉列廣島蠔一點都唔腥,食落雖然還有一點海味,但感覺唔錯,同埋夠大隻;對於鍾意食蠔既人來說可能是浪費左隻蠔。炸海蝦則普普通通,沒有甚麼特出的表現。至於忌廉蟹肉餅,開頭同朋友還以為點解會有三隻蠔,因為炸後太似樣。我只能用兩個字來形這個忌廉蟹肉餅,那就是「失敗」。忌廉蟹肉餅可以係整個餐最差的食物,整得太難食之剩,真係食唔到乜野蟹肉,感覺似食忌廉餅,而忌廉入面間唔中有一兩條蟹絲。最後是特上豬扒,肉身夠厚,肉汁亦夠多;有別於其他乜字號的吉列豬扒,炸完後仍然保持到肉質既鮮味。特上豬扒唯一的敗筆係炸粉太多,多不是問題,問題在於粘唔實係豬扒身上,結果係一邊食一邊跌炸粉……有點兒浪費;假如唔計粘炸粉的分數,這個特上豬扒可以去到85分以上。整體而言,「勝博殿」的吉列豬扒和吉列蠔都不錯,其他炸物就算吧啦咧!註︰我食既「季節二人套餐」可能同宜家大家食既有所不同…Read More

歐洲工幹完後回港的第一餐主餐,由於係歐洲食亞洲美食係「難食到嘔」,故回港後第一餐走去食亞洲美食餵勞自己。由於兩個人食的關係,其實叫了兩個主菜和一個小食都覺得多過龍。不是食物不好食,而是每碟餸菜都有一定的份量;食完小食後和其中一個主菜後已經覺得好飽和好滿足了。小火焰韓式咖啡餐廳平日晚餐時段也只有兩小時多多,不要以為他們上菜很慢和不能翻叫;這裡上菜速度算是試過本港眾多韓式料理店中,叫做快的一所。同朋友都不算吃辣關係,我地叫左「紫菜年糕餃子菜鍋」、「紫薯飛碟年糕」和「慢煮和牛面珠墩夾餅」。小食「紫薯飛碟年糕」個賣相很特別,成個糯米團的樣子,外層的韓式年糕皮不算太厚,且幾有口感。餡料紫薯很甜,而這個甜度應該很多人也能接受得到。雖然叫做小食,但也有五塊飛碟年糕,而每塊也有約 5CM 的直徑大少,相當不錯。主菜方面叫了「紫菜年糕餃子菜鍋」和「慢煮和牛面珠墩夾餅」,兩個亦有相當的份量。侍應生服務不錯,見枱上不夠位置放第三碟食物時,主動拿走換細碟上,這個藉得加許。同朋友先「紫菜年糕餃子菜鍋」,個紫菜湯一個字「正」;配合埋韓國粉絲,一流的享受,不用再配其他東西也可以吃多一鍋。餃子方面,皮薄餡靚,雖然應該不是自家製,但餡料卻能保存到食材的鮮味。最後食「慢煮和牛面珠墩夾餅」,也許是最後食的關係,有點兒凍了,但無損其味道。牛面珠墩很嫩和腍,不會因為凍了而變硬或韌。配菜的蘿白很入味和香甜;至於夾餅則算作OK可以,不算是太出色,但好過外邊不少食肆了。…Read More

前陣子返灣仔工作,做到夜麻麻,附近又無乜食市開檔,行下行下去到左蘭杜街,見PHO26 越.旺重未打烊,於是走左入去食宵夜。因為肚餓關係,嗱嗱臨叫左個香茅豬扒飯同個扎肉來食,亦有叫碟生菜食吓……健康飲食吖碼!香茅豬扒飯個飯同相片一樣,乾哽豉油撈飯……夜晚食呢個咁乾既飯真係唔多掂,一來飯太乾,二來個豉油無乜味。至於塊香茅豬扒,又整得唔錯,唔算太多油。扎肉方面,太多油了……一食落口就好似食了成口油咁,完完全全破壞晒扎肉既味道;反而配菜的芽菜真係無得頂,既爽口又彈牙。假如無左芽菜做陪襯伴碟,成碟扎肉就會扣分扣到接近零左右。也許……我唔係好識欣賞咁油既扎肉。其實,最後都無食到生牛河,一來飽過頭,二來係埋單後先見到果張教人食牛河既方法。有機會既,下次都會試用呢個方法來食生牛河。…Read More

沒想到還有機會再次來到 Mott 32 卅二公館進膳。這裡不訂枱真的不清楚有沒有得進膳。訂枱時,服務員會問要不要「片皮鴨」或「叉燒」;記住呢兩個菜唔訂真的沒有得吃。由於只是幾位朋友一齊進膳,除了訂枱時訂了「叉燒」外,就叫了數碟點心吃。蟹肉魚子醬小籠包和鵪鶉蛋燒賣來到時機乎差不多樣貎,如不依靠外皮,恐怕有點兒分不清楚那個是蟹肉魚子醬小籠包和鵪鶉蛋燒賣。蟹肉魚子醬小籠包肉汁雖然皮薄手工精細,但肉汁方面好像少了一點;不是說沒有肉汁,只是感覺沒有正宗小籠包那種蕩口的感覺。 Fusion 菜係一種 Innovation,我不是不欣賞,味道也不錯,只是若能上桌後進食,仍有上海小籠包那種蕩口就完美了。至於鵪鶉蛋燒賣,食完之後我都唔知食左咩落肚。這個鵪鶉蛋燒賣,我真的不懂欣賞;我不知道是鵪鶉蛋皮燒賣,還是鵪鶉蛋白燒賣……進食後完全感覺不到鵪鶉蛋的味道,有網人說是流心鵪鶉蛋白燒賣,但……一點都沒有這個感覺,這倒是今餐最敗筆的點心。另外,朋友點叫了櫻花蝦XO醬嫩豆炒津菜和紅葱頭石榴粿。櫻花蝦XO醬嫩豆炒津菜味道不會太乾,且XO醬往往給人一種微辣刺激感覺;但這裡的XO醬就沒有這種感覺,配合來至唔知日本和台灣的櫻花蝦,是用膳中最欣賞的餸菜之一。紅葱頭石榴粿的紅葱頭味道一點也不濃烈,紅葱頭和石榴可算是半重口味的食物,但配合起來味道剛好平衡得洽到好處。最後是卅二公館精選菜式「蜜汁頂級西班牙黑毛豬叉燒」,叉燒入口即溶,蜜汁味道沒有蓋過豬肉的味道;唯一可惜既係……叉燒要外脆內軟,雖則做到入口即溶,那外脆的口感在那?這要扣一扣分。來得卅二公館進膳,就要預算自己要付出米芝連的代價。也許,中國人真的懂欣賞回自己的中國菜;如有外國朋友到香港想品賞中國菜,這裡會是其中一個選擇。…Read More

At first, this restaurant did not easy to find in Central as the location was difficult.  However,   the customer services of La Piazzetta is quite good.  Very polite and often ask for my want.  Nice service.For the starter, Caponata alla siciliana (Vegetable Stew) & Insalata di maiale tonnato (Porkloin Salad).  Actually, this was my first time to enjoy orthodox Italian cuisine in Hong Kong, it seems most of dish have olive.  Porkloin Salad was interesting taste special and similar mashed potato.  On the other hand, Vegetable Stew was general.  Nothing special.Main courses, Linguine alle vongole bianche (Linguine with clams) & Baby Fiorentina alla griglia (Grilled baby T-bone steak).  Linquine with clams was little bit spice, taste good and it has many clams.  Becoz, most of restaurant only give you four to five clams.  Girlled baby T-bone steak has a little bit problem.  The reason was ... I ordered "Medium-Well", however, it was "Medium-Rare".  What's the XXXX.  Lucky, I was no problem to taste "Medium-Rare".   The side dishes of main courses are much better than protagonist.  Piselli trifolati (green peas with onion, bacon, and parsley) & Carote marsalate (Carrot in butter with dessert Marsala wine) should increase appetite.  I really enjoy the Carrot in butter with dessert Marsala wine.  Sweaty and Soft.Dessert were Panna Cotta and Chocolate Mousse.  Not too sweaty and suitable with lady.…Read More

每次去 ALMA 都只係飲杯咖啡同食個葡撻就算。今次心血來潮就食埋個 Tea Set,望住個無敵海景,邊 High Tea 邊望海,呢D咪就係品客薯片叔叔所講既中產生活之一囉!食 ALMA 唔好預食物質量好好,除左佢地既 Pastel de Nata 葡國蛋撻,呢個真係值得一試。咬落外皮鬆脆,蛋漿甜而不膩,保正一試上引。至於其他食物,High Tea 一係由底食上頂 (咸到甜),一係由頂食到底 (甜到咸)。 ALMA Tea Set 頂層係 Serradura Macaroon 木糠布甸馬卡龍 + Peach Cream with Breton Cookies 香桃忌廉曲奇。坦白講,Macaroon 香港無一間食肆弄得好食,ALMA 亦不例外,除了太甜外,佢地所講既木糠布甸味,一點也食不出,只能感受到滿口糖的感覺。至於香桃忌廉曲奇,粉紅色的香桃忌廉弄得不錯,冰冰凍凍酸酸甜甜的,感覺幾開胃,但曲奇就……算吧啦!可能 ALMA 用葡撻皮整會好食一點。中層的 Octopus Salad 八爪魚沙律 + Chargrilled Piri-Piri Chicken Wings 炭燒霹靂雞翼,聽個名好型啊!八爪魚沙律唔知做乜鬼放左鮮橄欖落去……味道一點都 Match 唔到。另外個雞翼,帶頂點兒辣,一般人都可以食到,至於佢所講既「霹靂」……真係唔知咩來!可能係雞翼上的炭屎吧!整體來說,中層除雞翼外,八爪魚沙律真係配菜。去到最底層的 Grilled Ham & Cheese Sandwiches 扒芝士火腿三文治 + Chorizo Quiche 葡國肉腸蛋批。意外地比頂層和中層好食。也許是酥皮關係,三文治和腸蛋批味道不錯。可惜的係……上到枱後呢兩個食物有點兒凍凍地,如果再熱一點或暖一點會比較好些。雖然芝士火腿三文治同肉腸蛋批 (嚴格來說似迷李腸仔片加包),但整體上是成個 Tea Set 除葡撻外,最好食既野。食物味道雖然算不上一流,但望著無敵大海景,甚麼也值回票價。…Read More

得個樣靚的韓國料理

對食物無乜要求既我來說,唔係難入口或者垃圾既食物,如牡丹樓或我們做雞是對的那些,我好少會給予劣評。School Food 內推展人氣之選的「炸蝦卷和烏卒卒」壽司,我不是貶低 School Food,有看我食評也知道,我只是有話直說。人氣之選都搞到咁樣,「炸蝦卷和烏卒卒」整到好靚仔靚女賣相很好,但食落真係無乜味。紅色的「炸蝦卷」,蝦既炸粉太多,今唔到有乜味到,為左上色的唔知是泡菜粉定辣椒粉,食完後根本唔知自己食乜野。至於黑色的「烏卒卒」,墨魚汁壽司是也,墨魚無墨魚味,加上做成飯卷的飯配上墨魚汁後,食落……好似有陣甜甜地既糖漿味,感覺怪怪的。餐牌內,「炸蝦卷和烏卒卒」的壽司雖然有一條辣椒,但食落完全唔辣。壽司不是韓國自家出品或特色食物弄得差都叫合理,但……不要連年糕都弄得這麼難吃。我相信 School Food 既年糕不說是我食過咁多間韓色料理店既年糕入面 (不論香港或外國或韓國本土等),未試過這麼難吃。除了又硬又靭外,卡邦尼汁其實好難整到食物好難食的,但School Food整到既沒有蛋黃味又沒有芝士味,真係唔知想點……加埋D忌廉,完全將個卡邦尼汁破壞晒,加上沒有辣椒標記的食物竟比有辣椒,食完除左用粗口來形容外,真的不知道可以用甚麼形容詞。總結,食完之後一肚火,要我再幫襯多一次,就如桂神講「渺茫,無機會」。…Read More

香港人食個飯仔可以去到幾盡?當你平日去到Simplylife門口,而自己又唔記得用apps拿飛時,你就知道原來香港人可以為左食個飯仔,可以花成一個至個幾鐘等位食個飯仔。Simplylife 以簡樸風情為主,而設計上亦以英式設計為主 (可以參考摘星廚神 Burnt)。Simplylife 既食物如同其名 Simplylife Bakery Cafe 一樣,它的麵包真的非常出色;之不過咁,係我坐低無耐個 waiter 就拿左個麵包同牛油過來,而我就同佢講「我重未點野食喎!」個 waiter 就好好笑咁講「俾定你先啫!」Well... 唔係趕時間到咁呀?我唔點餐齋點飲品時,你個 waiter 情可以堪呢?係 Simplylife 好多人都會叫英式 All Day Breakfast,貪佢大件夾抵食;而我不知其他人知不知道英式 All Day Breakfast 既由來囉!係到食就唔好跟風,跟風就無左自己既風格,於是點咁幾樣好似隔離枱無乜點叫既野黎食!餐湯同餐飲要加HK$30元,抵唔抵就見仁見智。餐湯試過蘑菇湯同蕃茄湯,兩樣試完後都係覺得蕃茄湯好飲一點,或試我係比較鍾意飲蕃茄汁/湯既人。兩個湯其實都係足料同新鮮食材所造,蘑菇湯將蘑菇打到好蓉才煲湯;而蕃茄湯亦係一樣,蕃茄攪拌至蕃茄蓉後才煲湯。主菜方面,試了「魚柳墨汁漢堡」和「哥達芝士燒烤蘑菇雞肉漢堡」,配菜薯條炸得好出色,香口兼不油膩;就因為正正咁樣而掩蓋左主體漢堡包的味道。「魚柳墨汁漢堡」的墨汁漢堡整得唔錯,炸魚柳亦好少粉,要知道食炸魚要冒一個相當大的風險,就是「粉多過肉」,但這裡就沒有這個問題;唯獨個沙律醬唔知佢想點……分開上又好似怪怪地,但放左係塊魚柳上面又覺得多過龍。另一個漢堡包「哥達芝士燒烤蘑菇雞肉漢堡」,芝士味濃郁,雞肉亦可叫做嫰身。兩個漢保同樣係因為個配菜薯條炸得好出色,主體感覺平平無奇。另外,愛吃肉的人可以試叫那個10安士既肉眼扒來食。我地叫左 Medium-Well,點知出到來係Medium,唔係 Medium-Well;但慶幸佢唔係俾 Medium-Rare 就已經感謝上帝。肉眼扒本身其實好難整得唔好,加埋芥末汁和少許黑胡椒粉就已經好好食。縱然俾錯左熟透程度,但整體還是可以。至於那個「白酒蜆肉辣肉腸意粉」,蜆肉很多,美足不足地方係洗得唔夠乾淨,有幾粒蜆食落係有沙……辣肉腸和意粉是硬身比較有口感,但不是每一個人都接受這種口感。最後輪到餐飲冰茶,冰茶加兩件橙落去都算配搭新鮮,味道幾好,剛好中和返之前食物那些油膩味等。可以叫少冰、少甜及走冰,走甜。整體而言,食物是有心去做的,但價錢方面……話晒係M字頭集團,點會平俾你吖!點都好,係 Simplylife 食佢既麵包同蛋糕,會比其他的美味得多。…Read More

當韓國傳統遇上歐陸風味

早幾年因為韓國「來自星星的你」讓韓式食店於香港更加發光發亮;特別是韓式炸雞店,對比起其他韓國料理,如石鍋料理、韓燒、泡菜或人蔘雞湯等,韓式炸雞店更受年輕一輩歡迎 (這些不知叫千頌伊還是叫都敏俊教授效影呢!)說真的,韓式料理中,本人最愛的是韓式中華炸醬麵,不幸的是……本人差不多試了十多間韓國料理店,除了 L 字頭那間好食外,其他的只見其型,不見其味。至於 Chibee 呢?對不起,這裡沒有最愛的中華炸醬麵,卻有部隊鍋和炒年糕及炸雞。Chibee 最出名係食炸雞,但可惜本人係沒有食到,反而品嘗了 Running Man 主持最愛的部隊鍋和炒年糕。部隊鍋是足料的,雖然部隊鍋只是一些肉腸、餐肉、焗豆和泡菜等弄埋一鍋,但是卻意想不到的美味。最重要的是,Chibee 的部隊鍋應該是最接近傳統的部隊鍋,因為有它們加入了芝士、水餃和即食麵。由於上枱後,店員會先放在 Gas 爐上加熱,讓舖在最上層的芝士溶入部隊鍋內,食落時讓人覺得有泡菜的辣味和芝士的香味,Yummy 程度可以說是滿分。留意一點,這裡的部隊鍋應該是設計成三人份量,因為部隊鍋肉的配料都是三的倍數。另外,這裡的炒年糕很特別,除了最最傳統的辣炒年糕外,還有為食不到辣的人設計而造的「卡邦尼年糕」(見圖)。食落時真的很腬 (發音︰漏),滿滿的芝士包圍著每一條年糕,加上石鍋上讓其熱騰騰的,十分滋味。如你能吃得辣,可以在此店試傳統辣炒年糕,和你在韓國旅行吃的是一樣味道。店內還一播放 K-Pop ,讓食客一邊進食韓式美食,一邊欣賞 K-Pop;美中不足是,由於香港地方有限,此店的坐位比較狹窄,容易影響其他食枱的朋友。另一方面,晚上店內燈光很有情調,如果想和朋友影相的話,基本上手機是完全不夠力,需要打燈或附助燈幫助才能影得清晣。最後,店員不知是韓國流學生,或是移居香港的韓國人,他們應該不懂說廣東話,客人和他們溝通上以英文為主,如你懂得韓文,不妨以韓文和店員溝通。…Read More
