Company visit for Xmas lunch. The atmosphere is good. We tried all the tapas on the menu and 3 kinds of paella.the small bite is good for weekend visit not on a rush weekday. Goodbye Grappas - Lee Garden is one of my favourite spots in town. All staffs are friendly, attentive and patience. Food, wine, dessert, brunch, live bands and Karaoke. The environment and customer service is good and attentive. Food is so-so. Seafood bar seafood is not fresh, oysters is not opened instantly, mussels were overcooked. It’s a disaster. We were very disappointed. It’s a waste. Many leftover will end up in the rubbish bin. Beef is not tender and juicy. First time visit 逸軒 has high expectation on the dishes. Sadly to say, it’s overall price and the quality was so-so. We’d a party of 8, 6 adults + 2 kids. We ordered Peking duck… the worst Peking duck I’d so far. The presentation was totally outrageous. We need to stand out and pick food in a fine canton/norther chinese food restaurant. Follow by Truffle BBQ pork, again we can’t taste any truffle. The BBQ park is ridiculous in term of portion and food temperature. We ordered ‘heated rock rice’ & fried rice noodles, end with 8 huge chinese b’day stream bun able to bring you high cholesterol, diabetes and possible high blood pressure. I guess the chef was from the East Ocean restaurant before. Nowadays we wish to eat well and healthy. Less sugar, less starch, less sodium. The bun can be a normal size, a symbol dish after the meal. Compare to my previous visit on 17/Nov there is something wrong and happening within the Organization ... last time the restaurant had given coupon as an incentive for re-visit. It’s fully understood because of the social unrest and weak tourism, yet tonight’s visit (Dec 1) was so disappointed that totally drove us away in terms of food quality. So what I’d was a ‘deep fried fish’ 荀殻魚，garlic Spanish, softshell crab rice wrap, fried noodle ‘金邊粉’ dessert was sticky rice pudding. Except the chill coconut, none of the dishes was as good as on Nov 17th I suspect the chief was on leave or something is going on that has impacted the food quality and service. The bill was over a thousand, with the coupon (50% redemption), we paid $500 something...the restaurant has given me another coupon, which I don’t think I will visit again or recommend to my friends. A party of 4 having Happy Friday dinner there, it ended up ‘very surprise’ re: the 4 dishes we ordered with leftover.1. BBQ pork: the only dish was above average. Tender, juicy and stay warm BBQ pork - one of the signature dishes.2. Abalone and chicken ‘stone’ port: the ingredients are not fresh. Abalone is fishy. Chicken is not rough and chewy. The picture is our leftover. The worst abalone I’d by far.3. Standard size roasted goose: again, to our surprise, salty and not appealing. No one is fighting for the goose meat. Marginal performance.4. Last dish was a starter, about 8 slice of pumpkin pairing of sweet & sour plum to stimulate your appetite. Good choice.Oops!
