The 90 year "young" woman is an icon in SYP and KT. She has moved a few times, from outside Sun Chiu Kee and now to outside Tak Kee on Belcher's Road. Thanks to these restaurants and cafes who host her. She onced broke her arm and was still selling her cakes with her arm in a cast, in winter! What a feisty woman who makes the cakes with such love and passion. Her cake is a heavenly one of a kind ! She is very generous 

in packing a whole load of fresh red beans, chewy yet softened. And it is not sweetened! The cake is al dente! Each bite leaves your mouth in relish - a tasty play of the red beans and the rice cake! I normally dislike red beans and any beans and not fond of cakes. But each time I dine at Tak Kee and if I see her, I MUST HAVE HER RED BEAN BOOD JAI KO!!!!!
