The hint of sourness from the apples lessens the richness of the pudding, making it a perfect choice for completing a meal.
Ingredient and Portion
Pudding:
4 ozs butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 cup flour
1/2 tsp soda powder
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp cinnamon
2 tbsps syrup (add 2 tbsps water)
1/2 cup sour milk
1/2 cup apple (diced)
1 tbsp orange rind (finely grated)

Lemon Juice:
1 1/2 cup cold water
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 tbsp corn starch
2 egg yolks

Method
Pudding:
Blend butter and brown sugar well. Add egg yolks immediately.
Sift flour, soda powder, baking powder, cinnamon well. Pour syrup and sour milk into egg yolk mixture alternatively. Finally, add diced apple and orange rind.
Prepare baking pan and place a piece of paper onto the bottom of the pan. Pour the mixture into the pan. Simmer (high heat) for 1 hour. Add lemon juice when serve.

Lemon Juice:
Boil 1 1/2 cup water. Add a little water into the cornstarch and stir well. Pour the cornstarch mixture into boiling water. Add lemon juice and sugar. Finally, add egg-yolks. (To blend well, remove from heat when adding egg-yolks)

附註:
Garnish with chocolate powder.
