Cha Bei is opened by Joanna Lui, the daughter of Macau Galaxy Casino magnate and Entrepreneur Mr. Francis Lui. Some of us were traveling to Macau for another Event, but on the agenda was a side trip to this luxurious tea house which serves Afternoon Tea as well as a variety of Pastry Desserts, Ice Cream, Healthy Salads and Sandwiches, etc. We would have liked to try some of their Plated Dessert dishes too, but the queue is still a bit long so this time it was a quick tasting of their drinks and cakes.. There are Two Sections at Cha Bei - The (Front) is more for quick bites of Desserts and Gelato, Tea(Back) requires queuing longer for Afternoon Tea and Plated Desserts, Hot Dishes. Our Blended Fresh Fruit Juices -They do try to do a Healthy theme here with the Tea selections and also Juices. Ice Cream & Sorbet Station - MOP $30 per Scoop. Thai Iced Tea Ice Cream, Raspberry & Fig Sorbet - MOP $60 for two Scoops. I liked both of them for their natural flavors and it's not overly icy or creamy, just right. The Raspberry Fig was quite refreshing sour, and reminded me of Hawthorn berries.. Cake Selections - Most are MOP $42. We Ordered St Honore, Apple Pear & Lychee Pie, Passionfruit Tartlet, Matcha Roll Cake -The bad news 1st? The Matcha Roll Cake with White Chocolate was rather dry and lacking matcha green tea taste, we were surprised at its performance considering Matcha Roll Cakes are all the rage in Asia nowadays and competitive. On the other hand, we loved the St Honore and also Passionfruit Tart, the pastries were fresh and balanced, professionally made... Ham & Cheese Toasted Baguette - Looks a bit squashed after toasting, but generous with the fillings..Overall Cha Bei is very attractive to the lady customers, with its floral and tea arrangement design, and plenty of Instagrammer spots... Day 1 抵達澳門後,在酒店放好行李後,我們就直接出發去 Cha Bei(即是茶杯,代表每隻茶杯裡裝著一個獨一無二的故事),準備參加法式甜品工作坊,然後品嚐全新秋日菜式,以及非常抵食的「繽紛狂想曲」下午茶。 這間粉色系 Cafe 內,提供一個結合遊歷、餐飲、藝術和設計靈感的空間,讓食客享受輕鬆的聚會,分享自己的故事、想法或者獨自享受一杯茶的靜謐。 門口的韆鞦位配襯背後的立體花 backdrop,簡直風靡了萬千少女心;店內的其他裝潢及佈置也精緻迷人,殺菲林位極多,難怪一到下午茶時段,不接受預訂的 Cafe 外就排著長龍。 想拍的實在還有很多,但差不多要開始由星級糕點大師 Julien Gugourd 主持的法式甜品工作坊了,所以媽媽及Chloe妹妹也要入 Open Kitchen 準備了! Chef Julien 來自法國 Chateau de La Chevre d'Or,是米芝蓮二星餐廳的糕點大廚。他曾與 Jean-Georges Klein、Alain Ducasse 及 Arnaud Faye 等名廚合作,這天為我們示範的是 Pomme。對於很少入廚的甜魔媽媽,這款要分開 Apple Glaze、Crumble(最簡單環節)、Chantilly Vanilla、Apple Nappage Ball Insert 及 Apple Bavarios 製作的法式甜品,難度分是100分! Chef Julien 十分認真,完全是由零開始製作蘋果甜點,過程中盡可能都親力親為,又常常提供試味。雖然不太懂英語,但也很盡力解答大家的提問,態度非常值得一讚! 多個步驟中,以 Apple Bavarios 的製作方法最複雜,除了成分最多,對溫度的要求也高,先要熱至82度,再降溫至38度,十分嚴謹... 看到師傅認真的表情,更加覺得做甜品是一門藝術! 去到這一步,甜品已經大致成型,之後我們也逐一出來,親手為甜品球淋上 Apple Glaze,就算大功告成,Yeah!! 插上 Vanilla stick 後,出來的甜品造型可愛,味道更集蘋果、檸檬、雲尼拿、酒香於一身,既清新又芳香迷人,好吃極了! 工作坊後,也是時間一起去醫肚。妹妹非常有性格,一起來不肯吃星廚的蘋果甜點,非要來杯熱朱古力不可;但原來 Cha Bei 的朱古力相當甘濃,可按個人喜好加進牛奶中和,水準很讚的~ 除了熱朱古力,妹妹也很喜歡店內的素菜湯麵,吃到津津有味。如果大家帶同小孩來用餐,這也是心水推介之一! 同時我們又品嚐了新推出的秋日茶式,如海膽意粉,以及個人很愛的蒜子香煎魚柳,兩款賣相及味道都令人滿意! 不過重頭戲是新出的「繽紛狂想曲」下午茶 (MOP $528/兩位),如大家打算兩個人就可以KO這份下午茶,的確是狂想,因為內容實在太豐富了!單是鹹點,下午茶包括蟹肉魚籽墨汁吐司、松露蘑菇酥、甜菜頭露筍芝士吐司、藍莓紅酒乳清芝士法國麵包,以及根本不夠位放的迷你龍蝦漢堡配田園沙律,沒吃午飯來吃就差不多.... 甜點更加誇張:每人兩份草莓奶油薄荷茶果凍、紫薯奶油泡芙、櫻花馬卡龍、玫瑰覆盆子蛋糕、柚子綠茶慕絲酥餅、藍莓芝士蛋糕、南瓜杯子蛋糕、荔枝覆盆子蜜糖果凍,再加兩份柚子口味的 Signature Souffle,以及巨大的花球派對蛋糕!連同精選茗茶、熱朱古力或咖啡,很快就擺到一檯都是..... 除了份量夠多,下午茶的質素也不錯,鹹點的迷你龍蝦漢堡、甜點的草莓奶油薄荷茶果凍、紫薯奶油泡芙、荔枝覆盆子蜜糖果凍都很好吃;Souffle 也清香不膩,最估不到是這花球派對蛋糕並非得個樣,香滑的 cream cheese 口味很動人!質感輕柔融得較快,要趕快吃掉哦~   差點忘了介紹,這裡的茶具及餐碟全部都太太太美了!配合優雅環境,以及可愛的小model,情景非常完美~難怪這裡會成為出名挑剔的院長下午茶勝地了~除了下午茶超值又好吃,這裡的雪糕也非常棒,當日妹妹對 朱古力牛奶雪糕 (MOP $38) 簡直一吃傾心!但大家不要以為它真的味如維他朱古力奶味,其實是甘濃很多的~ 吃飽飽又有熱朱古力+朱古力雪糕下肚,妹妹心情非常好,在美美的鞦韆位大展迷人笑靨,媽媽我又差點暈了..... 吃完雪糕,這個妹妹又跑到花叢之中扮花;人來啊,我的止暈丸為什麼還未呈上?總之,在 Cha Bei 之內就是怒影怒拍,愛美的女生,絕對需要來打卡/朝聖~臨走,又見到 Chef Julien 及其團隊在表現糖藝裝飾示範;首日成果都是零零碎碎的片段,去到竪日又來買雪糕時(都說朱古力雪糕好好吃),就見到美美的製成品了!!! continue reading

「靚仔無本心」就應該係人都知,但估唔到今次澳門之行都比我遇到。閒時都愛於IG搜羅有何美食可以與姊妹茶聚兼打打卡,之前一路都未有機會過大海,今次順道去cha bei朝聖。裝修以花為主的cha bei,單單從遠觀就已經可以迷倒萬千少女,我,亦都係其中之一人,哈哈。我選的是約$350的二人tea set,甜品樣貌雖吸睛,但原來只不過是虛有其表,相信僅僅半件就足以練成糖尿病。最吊詭的是,每件甜品的味道竟是一樣,只是古惑地換了形態展現人前,除了甜還是甜。 continue reading
