This place has been here for so long, surprised to see the last review was in 2009??
Anyway came here on a super rainy day, on a weekday during lunchtime. Surprisingly easy to find seats, maybe because of the weather?
We ordered a curry chicken laksa, and a seafood laksa. My seafood laksa portion was big and the soup base was decent. However instead of fresh fish it was merely fish slices (kinda like fishballs) and the crab meat was needless to say just fake crabmeat. Other than that, I believe there were two mussels, two clams and a prawn something like that.
The seafood laksa was $72 I think, which I think is slightly overpriced, given that the environment is kinda like cha chan tang, didn't feel too clean to me, and wasn't comfortable/clean enough for me to feel comfortable to stay for a chat. So for that price just a bowl of noodles, I probably won't be back again.
There have a thai menu and a Malaysian menu. Some items look good. I guess if you are in a hurry for lunch during weekday and everywhere else is full, you could try this place.
