There is a golden rule that you have to follow as the dipping sauce is shared. Absolutely DO NOT 🙅🏻🙅🏻 dip your skewers into the sauce again after you have bitten into it. If you need more sauce, you can use their complimentary cabbage to scoop some onto your plate. It is important to respect the culture & rules when you visit any restaurants
I loved the thin coating of these skewers. They were so light yet so crispy. My favourite was the Kisu Fish which was a small fish that literally melts in your mouth 🤤🤤 The asparagus was longer than my hand but it was not chewy at all. The deep fried soft boiled egg was a cool concept but don't think I would order again because it just filled me up too quickly 🙈 We also ordered this sobameshi, which translated to yaki-soba rice. It was basically the regular Japanese noodles that were cut into smaller pieces, so you can just eat with a spoon instead of having to use chopsticks. The seasoning & the texture of the noodles was quite good😋
Last thing to mention, service was superb. Only a couple skewers will be served each time to ensure you can enjoy them at their freshest. The server will let you know which skewer should pair with what sauce/seasoning. Really enjoyed my time there & will definitely go back again
