Boyfriend and I were walking around Sham Shui Po for Chinese New Year decorations when we walked by this bakery called Say Hey! At the window were all these huge mochi balls and super big daifuku. Attracted by the sizes, we went in.We asked what was in the daifuku and the lady told us that it was cream, cake and fruit. Unfortunately, it wasn't very good. A lot of mochi dough that had no sweet potato taste. The cream in the center had no sweet potato taste as well. I couldn't even say it was custard as it just tasted like sugar.
Size may be big and it was very cheap. But it wasn't good at all. Rather disappointing really. I guess the saying quality over quantity is correct after all.
