Came here on a Saturday night with the family the other day for a birthday celebration. Am surprised how few tables there were.My parents really like it here because of it's reputation. They even came here to pre order a couple stuff - the soup and the salted chicken. The soup tastes like they have been boiled for ages, super concentrated and tasty, without msg. The chicken is supposed to be buried in salt for hours, and then roasted afterwards. I'm actually not super happy with its texture. Tas

I'm actually not super happy with its texture. Tasted good - a right balance of saltiness. However, wasn't expecting the skin to be so soft, almost feels like it's been microwaved, the meat isn't tender either... So that was quite a disappointment considering it has to be preordered.
The rest of the dishes were good, especially like the roasted pork belly. It's presented delicately, tastes delicious with really crispy skin. The Peking duck is also good. The wraps were still steaming hot when they serve. But it seemed like it's a small duck,or the waitress didn't cut it thoroughly.
The overall portion was pretty small, and for the price we paid, I'd say they are pretty stingy.
Service was ok - after rally they really don't have that many tables to serve...
Environment wasn't great. It's in the basement of a sketchy mall, and the restaurant looks kind of old too. The carpet smells pretty awful.
Overall, I'd give it a 6.5.
