Pineapple and corn could indeed make a good pair! Visited Oddies Foodies again and we still find their creations amazing. Just read the description of their selections, how could you not fall for them. Pineapple and corn could indeed make a good pair! Visited Oddies Foodies again and we still find their creations amazing. Just read the description of their selections, how could you not fall for them. The Loner combined Taiwanese pineapple pastry eggettes, Italian low fat slow gelato, fresh lychee, caramelized brioche croutons, sweet corn ice cream and toasted coconut tuiles, all into the cup of wonder. We love how the eggettes were made to a kind of crunchy yet pillowy shell, but with a tiny twist. Stuffed with shredded pineapple filling, the eggettes was a creative blend of the Taiwanese pastry and HK snacks. Gelato was creamy and smooth as before, but we did noticed something that people might have already pointed out, it melted pretty fast. Others were mediocre but it was the sweet corn ice cream that stood out from the crowd. It was moderately sweet with a gentle hint of sweet corn, but relatively not that smooth and creamy. The whole package turned out to be sweet yet refreshing, would be a good option if you’re too full to enjoy The Night Wolf.
