Heard good things about this place and finally had a chance to try it.Classy old school place, great service, and one of the best steaks I've had in Hong Kong.We ordered one set dinner and some ala carte dishes.The set starts with an aperitif, a glass of sweet sparkling wine, was so delicious and refreshing. The lobster bisque and the bread combo was decent, and the portion is huge! The fluffy butter that comes with the bread was fantastic!
I had the US prime petite filet 8oz, which I thought would be too small for me, but no, the portion is just perfect for ladies. Perfectly cooked, nice caramelization on the outside, juicy, flavorful and super tender inside.
My partner had the US prime ribeye 12oz, which was delish, but I'd prefer the filet.
They are so flavorful, you don't need any sauce.
We had potato au gratin and marinated mushrooms as side dishes and both were yummilicious!
The set comes with a raspberry sorbet which was very refreshing, but we wanted to try their sinful molten chocolate cake and ordered one.
The cake was HUGE, but so delicious, we cleaned the plate. The coffee was good too.
We are so going back to this place for special occasions.
Pricey, but so worth it.
Don't forget to inform your server if you're celebrating something, you'll get a dessert on the house ;)
