The hours are a little shortened now. Also there was a line up until the very end, so it seems like it’s still really popular.

I got the regular set with the +$65 add on which includes more pork and seaweed and the egg. Honestly, the food was fine, somewhat forgettable. For $200, it could have been a little better. The ability to customize your ramen is an interesting touch, but I can’t imagine it changes the overall flavor too great

What kind of annoyed me here was the incessant ringing of the stupid ichiran bell. There are no waiters or waitresses in the traditional sense here; you have to ring the bell for them to come to you. However everyone has their own bell at their table, so it’s kind of ringing non stop the entire time you’re eating. You can’t really relax with this feature

Also the performative aspect of Hong Kong people speaking Japanese is a little dumb. It’s not 2000 anymore
