Boyfriend and I went to the food court that just opened at Dondon Donki. After a brief walk around, we decided to sit down and order something from 築地銀だこ. The Takoyaki place from Japan that has been in Hong Kong for quite a long time.The menu is in English and Chinese. There is no 10% service charge as it is a food court. The place is known for takoyaki. The set comes with four. It was ok. Fluffy and very hot. There was a small piece of octopus inside. Boyfriend felt there wasn't enough sauce.
It also came with an okonomiyaki. This was not that good. It just tasted like flour but at least it looked nice.
The set also includes a fried udon. We added a few dollars for an egg on top. The udon I felt had way too much sauce and so was super salty. It seemed the whole meal tasted the same as it was all doused with the same sauce.
It was ok. Not that great but at least cheap. I guess only stick to the takoyaki. The rest was not great and probably won't order again.
