I seldom dine in at this place but love, love to order takeout from them--the food is always warm and lovingly packaged and filled with cheese, bits of sour cream and different kinds of indulgent toppings. I love the jalopeno peppers--when you first bite into it, you feel the crispy, fresly fried dough, and then the hot pepper hits your tongue along with the warm, melted cheese and when you chew, every bite takes you mentally to the sunlit landscape of Mexico (or the hot plains of Texas, I can't remember if this is Tex-Mex or just Mex. )
The chicken quesedilla is filled with soft cheese and tender chicken breast chunks, and chopped tomatoes, guacamole and sour cream toppings blend together into a complex and tasty dipping.
The beef chimichanga is my favorite out of the bunch, though--the slices of beef are done just right, and every bite is a medley of juicey, chunky beef and cheese and everything that makes life beautiful. *_* And also, the rice on the side is amazing. I didn't finish this dish and had half of it for breakfast the next morning and it more delicious than leftovers had any right to be.
We had chocolate pudding for dessert and the chocolate sauce was a little more runny than I'd prefer, but the pudding itself is amazing with a chewy molten center and doesn't have the annoying flour-heavy taste puddings sometimes tend to h
