I had dinner here with my family last night for Mother's Day and we couldn't have picked a better restaurant. Hari, the Director, greeted us with a smile and led us to our table.For appetizers we had the Crab Avocado Salad and Beef Salad. The Crab one was good but the Beef one was great. For our mains, we had the Lamb Shank, Spanish-style Ribs, 4 Cheese Pizza and a grilled fish (forgot what it's called). The lamb was so soft, it was falling off the bone! The ribs reminded me of Iberico ham so it was slightly spicy. I've never had ribs prepared this way before so it was a pleasant surprise! I'm a big fan of cheese so I enjoyed the pizza too. The crust was nice and thin, just the way I like my pizza. My Dad doesn't like cheese so he found the pizza a bit salty. The fish was tasty and juicy. It's a shame I was already quite full at this point so I just ate a bit of it. But the winners for me are the Lamb Shank and Spanish ribs!
For dessert, we had tiramisu and cheesecake. I found the tiramisu too creamy but the cheesecake was perfect.
I would definitely come back to La Terra and will highly recommend it to friends. The service staff, especially Hari, are so attentive and friendly. The food was amazing and the restaurant's location in the up and coming High Street in Sheung Wan is just a stone's throw away from where I live. Plus, they serve really good bread!
