Another one of my favourites is 水煮魚 (fish in chilli oil) and 水煮牛 (beef in chilli oil). We ordered the beef and that took me to food heaven. The flavours were intensely satisfying - Sijie was able to bring out the various layers of flavours in the dish. Loved the noodles in it too!
We also ordered the shredded potatoes, Sichuan cold noodles and the stir-fried asparagus lettuce. Everything was delicious and had its own unique flavours. This meal really took my taste buds on a roller coaster ride! Can’t wait to go again with a big group of friends to try more dishes on the menu! I was too busy eating and forgot to take photos of the other dishes (oops!).
