The set lunch menu was quite good in terms of selection.  There was an appetizer buffet and the spread was decent.  There was a soup of the day.  You order the main course from a list of about 5 or 6 items.  I picked the pizza with anchovies which was quite delicious.  Since the appetizer course was generous, I only finished half of my pizza and asked for the rest to take away.  I was told that restuarant policy does not allow for food to be taken away from the table.  I asked what will happen tot he rest of my pizza, and she said that it will be thrown away.  Go make your own judgement of that rule.  Needless to say, I was not happy.

My friend and I decided to not have dessert since neither of us could finish our main courses. We asked for the bill and the waiter came back with a bill for two 4-course lunches.  I could not figure how how they arrived at 4 courses since we had 1. appetizer, 2. soup and 3. main course (the remains of which we were not allowed to take away).  She said, "You had the soup."  but could not identify the 4th course.
Other Info. : In this day when the Government is promoting reduction of food wastage, here you have a major restaurant at the Holiday Inn Golden Mile in TST going int the opposite direction. Can they do better?
