Present Café and Bar outer decoration is European and American style, standing out from other restaurants on the street. The stylish neon light box with the word "Present" grabbed our attention. The menu cover design is CNY theme with a reminder notice, informing customers they are closed from Feb 5 to 7 and business resume on Feb 8. What a quick and easy way for customers to know their opening and closing days during CNY . The menu offers two dinner sets and easy to understand. One set is $498 for 2 people and you can choose soup, salad, main course and drinks. The other deluxe set offers 2 options: Light meals or 5 course meal. We weren't really hungry so we chose $498 set for 2 people.
Daily Soup: Pumpkin Soup
The soup texture is smooth, creamy and thick with strong herbs flavor. 2 garlic breads was served along. It was hot and crispy.
Garden Salad
Fresh salad with variety of vegetables. The tomatoes are crispy and sweet. Salad did not have any sauce, it came with olive oil...healthy for those who doesn't like mayo.
Fettuccine Alle Vongole
Generous portion of clams and strong flavor of garlic. The fettuccine sauce is olive oil. Portion was just enough for two.
Char Grilled Iberico Pork Rack
The waiter asked how we would like our pork rack to be cooked. We asked for her advice and followed it, she suggested 80% cooked. The pork rack was nicely cooked, with a crispy outer and tender/juicy meat on the inside. Fries was hot and crispy.
Dessert: Homemade Cake (+$28)
There's a small fridge displaying a variety of homemade cakes...Matcha Layer Cake, Cheesecake, Mont Blanc etc..(forgot to take a photo). We chose double chocolate cake. The cake is bite size and nicely decorated. Strong chocolate flavor and the sweetness was just right. It goes along with the drinks that came with the menu.
