Best place for pasta and friendly service! .This place took us by surprise. We highly recommend the “Gamberetti Linguine” (Linguini in squid ink served with prawns) and also “Funghi Porcini E Mezzelune Al Tartufo” (which is basically truffle ravioli in tomato & mushroom sauce ). We ordered some starters too but the pasta really won the spotlight. It was one of the best pastas we’ve eaten since our trip to Italy. We ordered some starters too but the pasta really won the spotlight. It was one of the best pastas we’ve eaten since our trip to Italy.
To shorten our review, here are some key reasons why we love the pasta.
1. Pasta served piping hot and freshly cooked🔥
2. Pasta cooked al dente 👌🏼
3. The pasta has been sautéd with the sauce making it extremely flavourful and thick in texture. 🤤
4. Value for money. 🤑
5. Good quality ingredients. 🤭🤩
⭐️Environment and Service: the vibe here was pleasant and the place was clean & comfortable. The staff there were beyond friendly and quick at their job. They changed our plates when needed, pour water without asking and they were happy to help.
⭐️Value: Food priced ranged from $50-$200 but average pasta price was $130.

“Gamberetti Linguine” (Linguini in squid ink served with prawns) - the pasta was flavourful and covered in thick squid ink sauce. The quality of the pasta was good and the squid ink sauce was thick yet smooth. There was four pieces of fresh prawns cooked very well, it doesn’t taste like frozen prawns either.

“Funghi Porcini E Mezzelune Al Tartufo” (basically truffle ravioli in tomato & mushroom sauce ). Another emphasis, that this pasta dish served hot and fresh which makes a huge difference on the flavour. The tomato was sweet and not sour, the truffle wasn’t too over empowering. I would recommend this dish if you are looking for an alternative.

“Arancini” Deep fried risotto balls with Parma ham and mozzarella Cheese. This starter dish was $58 and it was one of the most recommended dish on openrice so we ordered it. However we rank it 3/5. The frying oil was fresh and the balls were cooked well however the stuffing was dense and lacked in flavour, herbs and content. It’s not a bad starter but we won’t order this again.

“Mighty Meatballs” served with toasted bread $68. Okay, first of all ... the bread was bad, it’s dry, soft and it was meaningless to include it in the dish. The meatballs however were good but not wow. The meat weren’t finely minced and it lacked flavour, you can just taste the earthiness of the meat. The sauce was delightful! It’s a shame that the meatballs weren’t as refine. We would give this dish a 3/5.

“Clams in white wine” 2/5 we don’t recommend this not because the clams are wasn’t fresh but because the sauce was flavourless. It tasted like water and clams and onion. They need to cook the clams longer to soak up the wine flavour.
