To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

i have invited 20 people including 3 well known chefs for a bbq set menu dinner. The menu looked great but the overall feedback from all 20 guests was really bad. Non of the 20 guests ate all of the food. Shrimps were dry, while pork and beef really tasted like it was not fresh. sausages, lamb and chicken tasted like they were stored long in the fridge. the only good part was fish and squid, and corn soup but i am not sure whether it was fresh made. i have made a reservation week in advance and

Shrimps were dry, while pork and beef really tasted like it was not fresh. sausages, lamb and chicken tasted like they were stored long in the fridge. the only good part was fish and squid, and corn soup but i am not sure whether it was fresh made. i have made a reservation week in advance and was told that the restaurant needs to order the food for large number of people so it will be fresh. today i can say it was not good even though someone like me is not picky with the food. sadly i will not go back again for bbq set menu.
