It's the first time for me to try lebanese food. Once I walked into the restaurant, the stunning decoration inside impressed me a lot. The sofa and cushions are of Middle-east style with beautiful patterning. We have chosen hummus for our appetizer. It's made of chickpeas with sesame source and have a creamy texture.
I think dipping Nachos into hummus is the best way to enjoy the dish.
🔻Lamb shank
The lamb was served with mashed potatoes and vegetables.The meat is tender and soft so that's why it's one of the popular dish in the restaurant.
🔻Veal Tajine
Tajine is a dish which is named after the clay pot in which it is cooked. The rice is special and the texture is different from the Chinese rice.
The soft veal was well marinated and the source striked a great balance between savoury and sweet.
🔻Rice pudding
The texture is quite similar to the sticky rice of Thai cuisine but it gives a strong taste of vanilla and milk instead of coconut.
Pudding served with dried fruit and nuts, honey was also given to provide additional sweetness. This add more texture to the rice pudding.
It was a special dinning experience for me and my friend tonight.
