To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Food and Health Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department has launched the "League of RSS-friendly Restaurants" ("League"). Restaurants participated in the League will offer less-salt-and-sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the League Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 因為疫情關係,很多酒店的所謂自助餐已經同以前不一樣了!沒有了自己出去拿食物的樂趣,取而代之的系好似點心紙那樣,給食客 tick 要食的野,然後服務員拿給你。這家酒店餐廳的 Brunch 我在一年前食過,埋單兩百多元,很不錯,是消磨時間的好去處。可惜,今次去返依度食 Brunch ,完全變了樣。一走進餐廳,感覺就系去左一間已經關鋪的地方。入面空空如也,感覺真的超級奇怪。一座下,服務員遞來一張點餐紙,可以點的食物普通到無法形容。你們自己睇個張餐紙就明白我說什麼。雖然埋單都係$233,但我建議大家真係唔係去食,寧願去一間泰國餐廳,散叫泰國野來食仲好。我很少會為餐廳寫負評,但這次真的想給其他食客知道真相。
