Restaurant: Hong Kong Old Restaurant

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 我在中環返工, 同事話 香港老飯店 食物好質素,  我都好想試吓, 於是今日放工約咗朋友去吃晚飯.  門面設計好特別.飯店餐廳在地庫, 入門已見有時令的大閘蟹和美酒櫃.香港老飯店 招牌出自中國新美術家劉海栗老先生手筆, 餐廳內的掛畫,  有香港舊日的足跡.  具欣賞價值. 大堂典雅, 座位多,  設有多間 VIP 房.安排坐位後, 熱茶及開胃前菜送到, 有腌紅白蘿蔔,酸酸甜甜 好開胃.餐牌內, 食物豐富, 大家細心睇, 部長也落力推介.  點菜冇難度.首先到是冷盤, 烤麩.煙韌度適中,  醬汁帶 少甜,  夠入味, 入口好軟綿. 燻流心蛋  伴芝麻合桃, 一道具特式的前菜, 金黃色的蛋帶流心狀, 色澤亮麗,  帶煙燻味, 做得好好.烤雙方感覺是好好的菜式, 金華火腿, 炸腐皮, 及一籠熱熱夾包一齊送來.侍應細心替我們把包, 夾入金華火腿及炸腐皮.  火腿肉質酥糯, 味道美.炸腐皮脆口, 夾包棉滑, 蜜汁醬帶酸甜酸味,  口感有層次.  好食 !!火腿津白金華火腿, 甘香肉質優,  津白嫩滑清甜, 因火腿帶點鹹味, 所以用奶油味茨汁,  連同金華火腿一齊食, 好配合.松子黃魚賣相擺碟佳.
