To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 今日收工已經係8:30,同事提議不如食個打邊爐先返屋企,傾吓計relax下!我當然OK啦!然後我們行吓行吓,就行到去油麻地附近呢條街,都有好多食肆,有甜品屋,有打邊爐,有拉麵,也有日本料理,我們今天去的是一間火鍋店名為火水爐。主要是因為給他的門面吸引,他的設計以七十年代為主。格局也很特別很像舊式戲院一樣。。。有夜總會招牌,舊式的收銀機,連傢俬擺設都十分古老。我們今天叫了一個花膠雞煲鍋底,加安格斯牛肉,海鮮鍋。是任飲任食的,120分鐘。每位$258,。價錢尚算合理,食物也尚算新鮮。鍋中的花膠和雞是滿滿的,超級抵食!店員給了一點炸物,是炸燒賣及炸魚旦!炸燒賣在外邊很少吃,感覺很特別!安格斯肥牛及雪花肥牛都超級新鮮,並沒有雪的味。海鮮分別有蜆,墨魚滑, 鮮蝦, 鯇魚肉,生蠔。魚肉十分鮮甜很爽口。墨魚滑也打得很好,食起來很滑。我們也叫了少少菜,水餃,粟米,等等。。。店員都很好,會留意顧客夠不夠湯,主動加湯,也會問食物夠不夠。。。最後我們食甜品,甜品是雜果紅豆涼粉冰。紅豆幾大粒!食完十分滿足!差足電,明天又要努力工作了!
