As mentioned by many other buddies on Openrice, portion was giant as the whole grilled eel was so big. The tail which was partly covered by the top half you could see was just slightly smaller than the top half. Flavour-wise and texture-wise, the grilled eel was absolutely nice. The good thing was that it was still very warm when I ate it. Yummy! There were also a lot of accompanying sliced eggs which were fatter in size and more moist than normal sliced eggs you would get. They were slightly sweet and went great with the eel. The tofu in Japanese sesame dressing was pretty fresh and healthy too. A very yummy bento at a very reasonable price!

The other bento we ordered was also pretty good! The pork cutlet was cut into 6 slices. Although it was takeaway, the batter was still reasonably crusty and it was not too thick nor starchy. Each slice was quite meaty too. They went great with the curry which was served separately. The curry was slightly spicy and a little bit sweet with some ingredients like potato, carrot and onion. It was very tasty and went great with the rice. Again, there was a piece of tofu in Japanese sesame dressing. It was a pretty nice bento too.

For self take-aways, they offered a free drink and we both picked coke zero.

Overall, we were very impressed by the food, especially the grilled whole eel. Prices were not expensive at all given such quality of the food.
