Restaurant: Hong Kong Old Restaurant

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 和麻甩老友們吃滬揚菜, 還是來到香港老飯店, 吃的就是熟悉而正路的味道, 沒有天香樓的昂貴, 也沒有老上海的海景景觀和Fancy的裝橫. 最喜歡的當然是其紅燒元蹄, 基本上它和老雪園的元蹄味道和口感相差無幾, 侍應一切即骨肉分離, 甜香入肉, 肉稔而皮滑, 中間脂層更是邪惡的集中地, 和麻甩佬吃就不用顧慮女士的擔心和矜持.其他經典菜式如花雕醉雞, 小籠包以及高力豆沙, 就是在水準之中, 並非有驚為天人的質素, 但你付出的和你所吃的, 就是在同一條線上. 不花巧而夠直接, 香港和九龍兩間店水準劃一, 如此傳統有歷史的中菜店, 真是吃一間可能就少一間了.
