黄明記,陪伴我在九龍城區成長的一家歷史悠久的潮式粉麵店,相信都有四五十年的歲月了,墨魚丸特別出色,系signature嘅鎮店之寶。以前出埠後,啓德机埸一落機就要過來吃返一碗“墨丸河”,有一種回到家的感覺,香港原味道的感覺,很是温馨。過去的幾十年,偶爾又會去吃返一碗潮式粉麵,曾介紹給很多位朋友都有不錯的評價。舊舖曾經再次装修,也很不錯,畢竟已很老舊的舖頭了。近月聽聞老闆說因重建要搬了,就在後面沙埔道。上月和曾在舊舖吃過的朋友入去新舖試試,一入門口就聞到一般渠的異味,可能是新裝修的關系,朋友是有要求的人,她頂不住不吃就離開了。今天中午做完運動行過去再試試看,發現渠味仍然有,而且系在舖面入面的位置比較強烈,於是就坐在近門口位置,叫了招牌“墨丸河”加油菜,味道沒有太大分別,可是看到這家歷史悠久的老店,沒有借搬遷新舖的機會改變一下甚至改進多一點,衛生情況都跟以前差不多,更沒有什麼管理,雜亂無章,看見他們工作流程,更是沒有什麼可說,錯漏百出,惨不忍睹,仍然有六七十年代的一家大细一腳踢的傳統。如果這個是香港獅子山精神,我想很快就會被淘汰了。 continue reading

年青時已聽過這店的威水史,猜不到要今晚才首次光顧,可是 ...知道它老字號,但竟然老到樓面有點骯髒,服務雖好,食物未到會自動跟進,見你碗麵太長會主動拿剪刀幫你剪麵,但地板潮濕,冷氣有霉味,服務多好、出品多棒都沒用!“細蓉”,傳統大地魚蝦子湯味,夠鮮味,但可能那鍋湯已滚了一整天,真的太鹹了!據說墨魚丸是自己打的, 但沒什麼特別,又不彈牙,不過有芽菜仔墊底,湯是蠻鮮甜的,加上那些有咬勁的墨魚鬚,這碗“淨墨丸雙拼”,還算可以。另一招牌“手打豬肉丸”,跟墨魚丸一樣,不怎樣的,但湯汁內有唐芹和炸蒜,湯味又濃又香,更難得的是三個湯是三個味道的,這碗我連湯都渴光。芥蘭腩汁,ok啦,味道還可以,但確是有點凌亂,菜未放好便端出來,有點hea。好,吃完,準備埋單,往收銀處一看,老闆一收完錢,馬上往旁邊那桌包雲吞,包了两只,又過去收錢,然後又回去包雲吞,全程赤手空拳,果然是老字號()! continue reading

九龍城黃明記已經開業40年 ,由很久以前天花上掛著一個個的走馬🐎燈的古舊裝修時(6元一碗麵🍜),幫襯到依家有中國風味的裝修(43蚊一碗麵),都幫襯咗幾十年。可惜九龍城啟德道即將重建,這間黃明記很快便會沒有了。🐙墨丸河:本人幾十年來都是獨沽一味「墨丸河」 因為小時候真是一試難忘。潮式的墨魚丸與我們平時普通麵舖的墨魚丸是完全不同的。黃明記墨魚丸更是手打墨魚膠唧出一粒粒丸。墨丸中還加了馬蹄粒,出面吃不到咁正。 不過,有人亦嫌這種潮色墨魚丸並不彈牙,但是我卻覺得非常好吃。河粉非常滑,聽長輩說他們的河粉是由對面陳明記入貨的。湯底配有剁個的豬肉粒,再配埋香蔥蒜,真係回味無窮。由於朋友想吃粥,所以另叫一碗淨墨魚丸吃,可惜,湯底非常咸。反而墨丸河的湯底咸道適中,唔知何解。🐷肉丸粥:肉丸的味道並沒有滲入肉丸粥內,粥底很淡。至於肉丸,朋友一覺得出面的差不多。希望黃明記會搵到新的舖位繼續營業下去。不過我記得細個嘅時候,墨丸河內裏是有少少墨魚鬚附送的,現在已沒有了。 值得一提以前舊機場未搬的時候有很多機師空姐空少嚟幫襯。以前電視台亦經常在此舖取景拍攝電視劇,我記得見過陳妙瑛在始拍劇。 continue reading

Located in Kowloon City, 黃明記粥粉麵家 (English name: Wong Ming Kee) has been serving noodles for decades. Their most popular item? The squid balls and pork balls. But I always seem to come here for fish balls and fish skin dumplings.We came here for lunch and there was quite a line. The place isn't very big but food comes out quickly so the wait isn't long. Menu is in Chinese. They have an English menu upon request. There is no 10% service charge. Boyfriend and I shared out toppings so we could try everything.  So, we tried the pork ball, squid ball, fish ball, fish skin dumpling, wonton and a squid tentacle. It was ok. The pork balls were fairly good with lots of pork flavor. The squid balls were a bit too soft for my liking but at least a lot of squid taste. The fish balls were firm and al dente. The squid tentacle was way too tough. The soup just tasted like MSG and the noodles were over cooked.It was ok. Not that great. I think a bit over hyped. Prices aren't expensive but seating isn't comfortable. Only be back if nothing else to choose from. continue reading

請容許我在這裡發表一件不公平嘅待遇,昨晚我去呢度買外賣,買完後在門口等侯我的外賣時,站在我旁邊已經有位坐輪椅嘅中年男人在門口似等待很久想買外賣,他禮貌地向呢度一位員工買外賣,可惜呢度一位穿着制服肥伴的女員工向呢位中年男人説,店舖10 點關門啦,唔接受外賣了,旁邊兩個年輕人都覺得過分,中年男人已等了很久,為何一直沒有理睬他,最後用藉口不做他的外賣呢?咁為何不一早不告知中午男人,累佢一直久等,而且為何繼續接受其他人的外賣呢?明顯地,這個員工有歧視這位中年男人坐輪椅,不想做他的生意,但他只是打工,老闆也有責任教導員工,為什麼香港係一個國際城市,仍然有這些歧視情況出現,經過昨晚親眼到這件事,我以後都不想幫襯這間店舖,希望是個別事件,大家幫襯時,不會遇到同樣事情發生。😡😡😡 continue reading
