10月之星食生日飯, 被好友邀到港島廳食中菜晚餐, 肚滿腸肥了一晚….很滿足!推開門進入餐廳, 好像通過時光隧道, 回到鄧麗君的年代, 很老香港的感覺, 懷舊英式的設計, 加上那背景音樂, 差點回到過去了這是中色的 fine dining, 裡面有4間房, 可以包箱, 可以拉開, 亦可以關門+拉窗簾, 很有私隱! 假日的這間餐廳比較少人, 聽說平日一至五都坐滿呢! 客路看上去有60%也是外國人, 40%是華人, 加上天花的風扇, 牆身的木, 畫面更像回到過去! Haha!!餐具都是中西合壁, 有筷子, 亦有湯匙及西式刀叉1. 豬骨濃湯燉花膠這碗濃湯可能給我們放涼了, 濃湯底有點咸, 花膠筒加上仍很有味道的豬骨, 感覺到骨膠原很豐富, 給我們放涼了有點可惜!2. 港島五小碟:化皮燒腩仔、蜜汁叉燒、椒鹽豆腐、松花皮蛋酸薑、手拍黃瓜化皮燒腩仔 – 皮真的很脆, 而且肥膏不多, 咬下去肉跟肥膏分佈適中, 鹽腌得有心機, 明顯是分了2 次腌, 脫水後仍不會很鹹又很多肉汁蜜汁叉燒 – 比傭記/甘牌燒鵝的叉燒更出色, 竟然看似不肥, 食落是半肥的叉燒!椒鹽豆腐 – 這個豆腐也很出色, 上面有黑芝麻, 椒鹽在外面不會做到太鹹蓋過豆腐,而且豆腐一入口很滑, 內脆內滑!松花皮蛋酸薑 – 我很喜歡他們的酸薑, 連皮蛋食, 酸甜剛好手拍黃瓜 – 腌得很好, 但五小碟其他都太出色, 反而覺得平凡了3. 上湯浸時蔬-唐生菜這個上湯超甘甜, 內有金華火腿的香味和不同的肉汁, 真的是廚房的精華煮出這個唐生菜, 連菜都煮出甜味來4. 黑松菌和牛炒煲仔飯 ($288)邪惡的和牛質素很高, 跟黑松露及飯均衡地炒, 每一粒飯都變得很香! 而且他們都很熱上, 煲仔上枱時仍聽到瓦煲煮飯的聲音5. 家鄉煎焗筍殻魚扒這條無骨的深海魚很有家的味道, 煎的過程還有豆豉呢….很香滑! 但始終是中菜, 賣相真的不覺得很美6. 滷水凍鮑魚 ($308)這個一口就可以把鮑魚食掉的南非孔雀鮑很鮮甜, 滷水味有點淡, 不過可能這樣而不會蓋過了鮑魚的鮮甜吧, 略有點不夠凍7. 筍尖蝦餃 ($72)不得了的蝦餃, 皮很薄透光, 放在口中一咬有蝦汁踐出來, 細蝦很鮮甜彈牙8. 香麻辣子雞 ($368)很邪惡熱氣, 但配酒真的是上上選! 雞肉被炸得很鬆脆不油, 食不停口!!9. 焗菠蘿叉燒包 ($48)包皮很薄呀, 想不到包著很飽滿的叉燒!!! 而且很Juicy 但又不會令包皮變得很腍10. 荔芋銀絲春卷 ($48)銀絲外包著一層荔芋, 再包春卷, 手中之細可見圖…炸完真的很香口! 咬下很有層次感10. 山水豆腐花 ($42)晚上食的關係, 只有凍食…說真的有點普通11. 芋蓉燉鮮奶另一邪惡很肥又好味的甜品! 面有一層芋蓉, 配上濃郁的燉鮮奶, 完全上癮了12. 豆沙香蕉煎堆仔 ($42)一口咬下帶有香蕉味的豆沙, 這個 crossover原來很夾很驚喜!13. 酥皮蛋撻仔 ($42)其實曲奇底很脆, 但晚上不是剛出爐食, 變得平凡了14. 綠茶芒果糯米糍那個綠茶皮就得很彈牙有咬感, 而且很香抹茶味, 不輸中村藤吉!!!15. 意大利雪糕-棒子($69)驚喜! 第一次食很香濃的棒子雪糕, 這個做結尾, 是晚太滿足了 continue reading

Good ol’ Chinese food is a plenty in Hong Kong. Especially some Chinese fine dining. One of the most popular establishments is Island Tang! Island Tang is located in the heart of Central. They serve traditional Cantonese food in a classic setting and way. I went a VERY long time ago, so the descriptions are going to be well short and very sweet. 5-6年前, 有幸跟住公司老闆第一次到港島廳呢日也是拜老闆所賜再度光臨 ~港島廳係林建岳先生所開, 走高級食府路線因為港島廳太貴啦, 一個小職員好難負擔得起.訂了位, 所以不用等.視察過周圍, 都滿座, 和有不少外藉人士.港島廳令人最深刻就是環境~  環境好緊要, 好多時食物質素有幾好, 但環境超差, 都會影響食慾.港島廳設計好有歐陸氣息, 經過好難會想像到原來係一間中菜廳.設計西化, 背景音樂卻播著港人耳熟能詳的廣東歌服務一流, 令人感覺非常親切 ,侍應先生樂意建議菜式.一班人食飯, 最開心莫過於可以點多幾款食物。老闆亦都很好地比我地發辦當日我地叫了12款食物, 有點心,燒味, 海鮮.....1) 帶子菜苗餃 ($18一件) - 極力推介因為餃皮好薄, 餡料好豐富, 多料到好似快要爆滿破皮 咬落啖啖帶子和菜, 感覺滿足.2) 黑松露蟹肉餃 ($30一件) - 聽個名好矜貴, 不過其實成個餃冇乜蟹肉味, 似食魚旦但加了少許黑松露味道 .3) 蜜汁叉燒 ($297) - 成日聽人推介呢到叉燒, 真係好"林"...但去到化嘅境界, 完全冇咗肉應有的質感, 仲要冇晒豬味...是豬肉唔新鮮, 定製法想達到"林"的目的, 而令到豬味消失 ?4) 避風塘炒蝦球 ($298) - 蝦好爽, 但冇蝦味~ 是否冷藏海鮮?而避風塘口味, 應該係好香蒜味和偏辣...但一點都不辣...有點失望5) 梨香炸釀帶子 ($298) - 食完冇咩感覺, 冇特別味道....6) 上湯浸鮮露筍 ($297) - 露筍鮮嫩冇渣, 但好似貴咗啲...7) 脆皮吊燒雞 ($258) - 侍應先生推介, 皮很香很脆和雞肉好嫩, 不過這碟雞竟然是全餐最鹹的食物, 如果減返少許鹹味就perfect8) 京蔥雲腿燒餅 ($16一件) - 食時要注意, 因為裡面餡料好熱. 燒餅外有芝麻好香脆, 燒餅餡加有雲腿很有鹹香味~ 很特別9) 焗菠籮叉燒飽 ($16一件) - 全餐之最...差!!! 同事們食第一口已經知道出咗事~食過富聲, 添好運, 車氏....一定知道咩叫焗菠籮叉燒飽. 飽面焗了但不脆, 食後感如去"美X" 西餅店買了個7蚊趕返工食嘅麵包一樣10) 紅油抄手($98三件) -  以為好辣, 點知一啲都唔辣, 但因為個汁好香麻油味, 加返晒分 餃滑肉新鮮11) 桂花蟹肉炒瑤柱 ($447) - 知道了價錢真係嚇咗一跳炒工一流好乾身, 不過呢個菜式本身係要靠瑤柱去帶起味道~眼見蓋了一堆瑤柱喺面, 但放了入口...有瑤柱嗎? 沒有瑤柱味道呢 !12) 黑松露雞粒燴飯 ($396) - 侍應先生冇介紹錯..令人非常回味的一碗飯, 雖然去到最後呢刻飽到反肚, 但最後成碗飯清晒...每粒飯都沾滿黑松露汁, 好濕潤而不膩. 雞粒雖然唔多, 但唔會覺得冇肉送飯, 因為每粒飯充滿黑松露味, 真係粒粒皆"香口"今次光顧港島廳...有感食物味道偏淡 (除了脆皮吊燒雞),呢點值得欣賞, 但要注意偏淡亦可能帶出了食材質素不夠的缺點 continue reading

前天收到好友邀請與母校老師聚舊,地點爲中環港島廳。好友是常客,所以點餐由她包辦,因此未能記得菜色名字,還請見諒。先來一碗湯-內有炖得軟熟的香菇,花膠數塊。湯的顔色頗濃,聞下去沒什麽特別,但味道一流:鮮味十足,香鹹適中。接著上的是蔬菜和菇類。或是我不太懂得享受,覺得這些味道一般,跟美心大皇宮的質素差不多。值得一提的是,菇類皆煮得香軟、入味,連我這因為胃弱而不太好菇類的人也可多吃幾塊。然後是炸牛奶。好友提到,若要品嘗炸牛奶,需在訂位時提出。這次點的是鹹的炸牛奶。外殼鬆軟,炸得黃金;內裡的奶油香滑濃稠,味道香濃又不至於膻,非常好吃。老師們皆讚不絕口。煎牛肉也很是不錯。牛肉切成小方塊,伴以豆腐上碟。肉煎得剛好,外面帶有焦香,裡面肉汁多而鮮。肉質軟,不需要多嚼。這個是我認為全部菜色裡最好吃的。甜品叫了芋泥炖牛奶和豆腐花。炖牛奶香濃、滑溜,有北海道牛奶的鮮香;芋泥香而不油,口感綿密,兩者配搭得剛剛好。一小碗已足夠四人嘗鮮。豆腐花則是一般,甜味不均。大概因為是晚餐時間,餐廳人少,安靜的環境很適合聊天聚舊。餐廳佈置古典,有著殖民地時代的風味,英式皮椅也十分舒適。侍應會自動來換碗碟,但不會添水;服務算是不錯。總的來說,食物甚佳,是個很不錯的聚會地點。 continue reading
