前一天公司的美食家相約要到這裡吃午餐,本來是相當猶豫的,因為兩天前才帶著朋友去重慶大廈開開眼界,雖然我很喜歡吃咖哩,但最近多長了一些痘痘,公司的C9們都笑我不要再吃那麼多咖哩了!最後決定離開辦公室出來走走,於是下了半山電梯轉個彎後,來到絕少於白天出現的雲咸街。一不小心還走過了頭,因為「Ganga」的招牌掛的高高的,而我也沒有抬頭走路的習慣(應該沒有人有吧!哈哈哈)。我們是第一桌進入店裡的客人,整個中午也只有四桌顧客,所以店內相當安靜、適合聊天,也不用擔心侍應會在旁邊走來走去希望你趕快交檯,因此用餐過程是相當悠閒。美食家坐下來立刻替一行三人點好菜。其實也很簡單,就是一個午餐的set,點心、三道主菜加上印度烤餅,附贈一杯飲料。點好餐、侍應立刻送上「印度醬汁」,我始終搞不清楚這些醬汁叫什麼名字(如果有能人智士路過還煩請告知),不過白色的芝士乳酪實在是很美味,有點冰冰涼凉的相當開胃,淡淡的香甜乳酪味入口立即散開。「Mango Lassi」相當濃,但我還是喝不慣。「咖哩角」的皮相當厚,內餡也極香,沾上芝士乳酪一大口吞下肚,沒想到皮很厚的咖哩角也蠻好吃的。隨後馬上送上三道主菜,「印度炒飯」、「蔬菜咖哩」與「羊肉咖哩」,「烤餅」於正在拍照時端上桌。受不了炒飯、烤餅、辛香的羊肉咖哩混合成的氣味一直灌進鼻子裡,於是草草拍了幾張照片,趕快吃飯比較重要。炒飯的口感很好,夠乾且粒粒分明有咬勁,配合羊肉咖哩一起吃很棒!蔬菜咖哩主要應該是波菜吧,非常的濃郁。羊肉咖哩實在是太棒了!羊肉夠軟嫩、咖哩汁濃稠度剛好,辛辣味於入口後慢慢散開,讓我愈吃愈想吃。烤餅也不錯,有芝士與香蔥兩種,只是我還是在懷念新德里的免治羊肉烤餅!買單一個人才70元而且吃的極飽!在SOHO區可以用這種價錢享受這樣的美食與用餐環境,我可能以後只有帶觀光客才會進入重慶大廈了! continue reading

基本一切如舊,D嘢好似仲好味過以前(可能太耐無食有D掛住)Lunch仲平過以前,包one drink,我要咖哩絕配mango lassi,幾濃的來一碟炸物加grilled雞的前菜,即造美味不是buffet貨可比仲有curry 羊 curry vege etc + 印度rice + 超正naan,超滿足 continue reading

多年前經常到這裡食飯, 喜歡它的地方清靜, 和咖哩羊. 但自從兩三年前有其他人入股,改了風格, 連大廚都變埋, 味道及作風完全不一樣, 就再冇幫襯.最近行過, 見到招牌再現, 更喜見老板Ganga親自主理, 即試吓佢哋的set lunch.味道都能保持昔日的風味, 以$60 set lunch , 份量足夠一個人, 價錢尚算合理. continue reading

Had lunch there. Food is not bad. I like its curry. Naan bread is OK only though. It doesn't have the expected aroma or taste.It's pretty quiet even during lunch hours so it's good if you are looking to find a table in Central at that time. continue reading

埋年尾,循例又要同舊拍檔講「數」,來這裡,純粹因為呢度午市夠清靜,當然我亦想吃印度野。十二時許來到,一個人客也沒有,我們坐在靠玻璃窗的位置,幾舒適。午市套餐有雞有羊,有烤餅又有印度米飯,所以都無謂再諗。拍檔正在齋戒禁食中,所以只叫了杯甜lassi。這裡前菜小吃不是papadum,而是幾件炸物,分別是炸洋蔥及咖哩角,熱熱的,但不算脆又幾油膩,不算好;再來幾三件香燒雞Chicken Tikka,肉質幾結實,醃得不夠腍,可以更好;熱菜有咖哩羊、雞肉及豆,加埋一碟印度米飯及一塊naan,份量不少,足夠兩位用,事實上拍檔望下望下都有一齊食。羊肉叫了加辣,香料味十足,初頭吃不太辣,但越吃辣勁才來,不錯。羊腩不算腍,但幾有感口;雞的味道差一點,口感亦粗鞋,似乎雞肉是這裡的弱項,反而同煮的青紅椒就又腍又入味;印度米爽身又粒粒分明,用來撈咖哩羊一流,當然少不了那熱辣辣又微脆的naan的份兒,到最後我們是全部都吃清。得一位印藉侍應招呼,服務也不錯,也會問問客人的意見。連兩杯lassi,埋單一百一十幾,作為一個兩個人夠吃的餐,不算很貴。題外話:今年經濟好轉,「數」亦不用多講就埋攤,成餐飯以談近況為主,希望以後都係這樣好景就好了。 continue reading
