三小碟的形態雖然跟餐牌的畫圖有差,不過冰鎮花雕大連鮑還是很吸睛,經過慢煮所以入口軟腍適中有嚼勁,除了淡淡的酒香,還帶點鹹鹹酸酸的味道,有點像日式素麵的醬汁。滷水牛展粒其實很入味,正方形始終因為比較厚身,所以肉質不算腍,但筋部有爽口感。最後的法芥千層薈,最初以為是炸豆卜,後來才知道是疊了三十層的腐皮,難怪叫「千層」,外層淋上芥末子及蜜糖醬汁,不過卻一點嚐不出辣,內裡豆香餘韻很強,久久不散,感覺非常新鮮。

甜品點了杞子桂花糕和山水豆腐花。前者因為杞子的關係,所以味道微微帶酸,雖然椰汁味道太濃太嗆,但整體不失清甜滋潤。後者是翻看其他食評的相片,看見豆腐花是用木桶盛載,所以才點的。不過端來的只是一碗賣相普通的豆腐花,而且紫色的瓷碗跟食物不太搭,有點影響食欲的感覺。不過,論味道卻是相當不錯,入口豆香滿瀉,雖然不算最滑,但那份豆香很有兒時味道,不禁令我想起小時候用漱口盅和飯壺買豆腐花的情境......

最後想再喝點茶,於是點了一杯紫笋茶。它很有竹香,其形態與其說似筍不如說似扁豆。茶色淡綠明亮,比一般茶葉少了一份甘澀,清潤猶如竹水,令人心境頓時平靜下來。

小蝶的菜式,大部分都價錢相宜,餐牌有很多新穎的菜式,像「豆豆豆豆」、「牛頭到尾」、「菠蘿咕嚕肉」等都很想一試,可惜店方規定個半小時便要還檯,未能慢慢品嚐。另外,用餐中段開始感覺有股音樂傳來,強勁的節拍震動着地面,一直傳到檯面來,感覺有點殺風景,未知這跟樓下七樓的舞蹈教室是否有關係呢?

The building was pretty easy to find as it stands out amongst the rest of the buildings.
My favorite part of the whole dining experience was probably the service I was receiving. As soon as we stepped out of the lift, we were greeted by 2 receptionists with huge smiles. Walked us all the way to our table and it didn’t stop. The waiting staff then straight away came and had a chat with us, asked us if we got wet (weather was miserable tonight), showed us the Mother’s day menu and gave some description of the dishes. Mom was definitely loving the attention. Come to think of it, I was a little blown away, don’t think I’ve had waiters chatting to us since back in Oz.
It wasn’t long till the food started to arrive. It’s pretty cool how the food had some modern twist to it. My favorite was definitely the Curry fish tofu dish and the Aromatic duck! The Curry fish tofu.. when it arrived, I looked at my mom and mom looked at me, both didn’t know what to expect. You know, given the tofu had always known to be as dessert . That thought went away pretty quickly as soon as it went into our mouth, I dunno what it is, but it works!

When the dessert came, most of us were already having food coma, but there’s always room for dessert right? The Napoleon wasn’t my favorite as it didn’t quite fit in, having that said they also gave us other Chinese desserts that weren’t in the set menu. Even my dad who’s not a dessert person was impressed with the mango pudding.

All in all, mom was impressed which is a bit of relief and more importantly, it’s just fresh to see someone making Chinese more exciting. I’ll be sure to check out their lunch and hopefully just as good as tonight! Highly recommend anyone to check it out! Well Done Zen Too!!

平日的我對餃的興趣不大,不過這個韭菜餃則不錯,韭菜的比例比較多,吃時沒那樣的膩;當中的韭菜味道頗強烈的,肉粒亦新鮮,不會有那種臭豬味。最怕那種用不新鮮的豬肉做的餃,因為新鮮,所以吃清這件餃。

所謂的石窩豆花魚,其實是分開了魚鍋和豆花上的;吃時把豆花放底,然後再放上魚塊和淋上湯汁。豆花很滑溜亦很香,豆味亦濃郁,最喜歡吃豆花!而魚塊亦滑溜,帶著魚香;這個"重慶"不會很辣,只帶輕微的麻,受不了太辣的朋友也應該可以吃到的。

看上去好像似曾相識的,有點在西班牙餐廳吃的蒜蝦的影子。蝦是很彈牙爽口的那種,味道上則是很麻不算太辣,我頗喜歡吃這幾隻蝦的,大概因為我喜歡辣吧。

這道菜的焦點在這厚腐竹,本身已經很愛吃腐竹,厚腐竹更甚;口感更豐富,味道更濃郁,好像沒有在其他地方吃過厚腐竹,突然很想吃枝竹羊腩煲,如果用厚腐竹做羊腩煲應該也不錯吧。

黑松露海鮮炆飯
超級喜歡吃這個炆飯,飯帶濕潤,因為是炆飯,感覺上不太油膩;最重要的是充滿了松露香,飯中還充滿了不同的海鮮,味道濃郁,份量亦頗多的,差不多每一口都有海鮮;當中還有些露筍,感覺上更健康;雖然很怕晚上吃澱粉質,但也忍不住的吃多了兩口。

單看這心心的外表我已經很喜歡了;特別喜歡底層的椰汁糕,質感彈牙;吃後十分清新,正好減減膩,留胃口再吃麻蓉飽。

麻蓉飽
麻蓉味道亦算濃郁,不過個人認為偏甜,始終我不太喜歡甜;而包身很軟,做得不錯。
餐廳於4月17日已正式開業,如果有興趣的朋友,記得趁還未有太多人去前先來吧;有時間的話,我會再來吃黑松露海鮮炆飯,真的很喜歡呢
