趁小店結業之前,我同男朋友嚟咗光顧源發咖啡廳。當日人好多,要排10至15分鐘先可以入到去餐廳。源發咖啡廳嘅裝修好似返返去六七十年代咁樣,店內仍然保留當年嘅地磚,牆壁仲有老舊嘅水墨畫, 十分有懷舊風味。我哋點咗蔥油豬扒飯,紅豆冰,乾炒牛河,熱奶茶。蔥油豬扒飯嘅豬扒煎到好香蔥油同豉油同飯都好夾,非常美味。紅豆冰嘅紅豆去到杯嘅一半,非常抵飲。乾炒牛河略嫌唔夠鹹,但非常有鑊氣。熱奶茶茶味同奶味都好香濃。侍應話呢間餐廳嘅舖頭業主要收返,所以必須結業,都非常可惜。

侍應話呢間餐廳嘅舖頭業主要收返,所以必須結業,都非常可惜。

開始秋天時份,還有幾天就是源發咖啡廳結業,門口也貼出中,英以及日文既告示,大概都是說感謝與道別之詞,今日我就黎到試一試有五十年歷史既咖啡廳。坐低一陣睇下餐牌影下相,就聽到隔離枱點餐“照舊”兩個字,對於我第一次黎既新客仔係有點新奇,不景50年歷史大部份都是照舊既老顧客,令到我變為隔外陌生的人。回來,我點了沙爹牛丁,太陽蛋香腸同凍檸檬茶,呢類舊式香港店既快速是香港人既標記,幾分鐘就有得食。太陽蛋煮得出水準,最外層脆邊,第二層煮熟既蛋白,第三層半熟奶白蛋白同第四層透透地明既蛋白包住蛋黃,層次分明蛋味香,腸仔開邊炸過,唯少了一塊多士,沙爹牛香濃有肉味,加上丁麵都煮得剛剛好,凍檸檬茶個茶味特出,檸檬都唔會孤寒你所以都係十分好飲。可惜天下無不散之延席,近來香港越來越多呢類店舖唔做,除了拍攝記錄外,我只能嘆息!

一杯凍檸茶佢落咗咁4片檸檬,而且唔係薄片,一啲都唔慳料!佢嘅茶膽濃咗少少同糖漿好似加多咗啲,味道有啲over咗。如果再落多啲凍令成杯凍檸茶嘅味道淡返少少同凍多啲,對我嚟講就perfect啦

小總結:呢類型嘅舊港式咖啡廳買少見少,縱使而家都有一啲新開嘅懷舊主題餐廳,但骨子裏散發出嚟嘅感覺完全唔一樣,當中嘅用具、一枱一櫈、裝飾都有一種歷史感,仲有舊式街坊街里嘅人情味真係要上一代人先會表現得出嚟。唯一做得麻麻嘅地方就係店員見你食得差唔多就想收咗你啲嘢,比較心急😂

An old style HK tea cafe with couplets all over the place which was warmed. A typical style of family owned cafe has gone through a number of waves up and down and has grown together with everyone if us who love this unique place.

Servers and cashier were all nice and patience people. No chase after nor any unwillingness to serve at anytime since sat down. We took our time to go through the menu despite it was just a typical breakfast but we want to consider thoroughly as this is first meal of the day and foreseeing next meal would likely till 1930 with full agendas waiting for us to complete.

No pictures as we ordered our usual meals but would like to highlight their size. Portion of their breakfast was bigger. We referred to noodles in soup type of foods. Eggs and sausage are normal size. We didn't try their sandwiches and no nearby tables ordered so we could not tell.

We ordered sauteed beef with chewy noodles and they made it quite satisfactory. good flavor and noodles was just what we wished. Milk tea with condensed milk served hot was also good. We liked it.

Another area we spotted was their takeout materials are strong and model styles. Boxes are clear and hold strongly. Cups are plastic clear rather than paper white & orange old fashioned. We would like to emphasis that don't look at the outlook of this place thinking interior will be dirty, smelly, old people sitting and serving, noisy, etc.. Instead you will be surprised once you walk in till you pay and leave. Widen your eyes and you will see more yourselves rather than we describing here.

有朋友係到開餐,所以過埋嚟,估唔到午餐有得食芫茜鮮牛米,西洋菜豬膶麵,糊椒豬肚湯飯等...又幾老香港feel喎,叫咗鮮牛米,諗住好快,因為趕時間,但真係等咗一段時間,豬膶等得重耐!好在等待是值得的!好大碗,熱辢辢,好多牛肉,好多米粉!牛肉唔老,但湯底較淡。非一般茶記,屬於老誌號!

今日我嘅邪惡lunch推薦就係在太子“源發咖啡廳”的蔥油豬扒煎蛋飯,夠香、夠蔥油又夠飯。飲品叫了檸檬茶,茶味夠香濃,檸檬都好多塊,好夠味。價錢亦好合理,一份午餐是港幣$40,凍飲加3蚊。其實我好喜歡地道茶餐廳,我在短短半小時內,見了很多街坊情懷,茶餐廳老闆對每一位熟客都好像家人一樣,大家見面時不停傾家庭近況,相當親切。餐廳裝修keep 住舊式設計,但擺設及清潔度都很好, 服務員態度友善,而且行動相當敏捷。我呢位蕉姐雖然係貴族性格,但間中都好麻甩,最地道嘅茶餐廳風味是最好的。

因為工作的關係,認識了一位和我一樣熱愛美食的朋友。所謂"酒逢知己千杯少",和志同道合的朋友一起去尋找和享受美食,確實是一件令人愉悅的事。由於當天在深水埔區工作,我們兩個新界人不太熟悉該區有甚麼出名的餐廳。朋友馬上用手機搜尋,發現一間食評全是好評的茶餐廳就在附近。我們不作他想,馬上出發。這問餐廳是傳統茶餐廳的格局,其貌不揚。餐牌上顯示食物的價錢十分經濟實惠,我們點一客黑椒牛粒飯和一客蔥油豬扒煎蛋飯。黑椒牛粒飯雖然賣相普通,但飯餐一送上桌,又濃又香的黑椒香味就扑鼻而來。先試一口牛粒,又香又嫩的牛粒口感很好,肉質完全沒有韌的感覺。黑椒汁做得偏辣,但十分惹味,伴飯吃絕對令人停不下來。蒽油豬扒煎蛋飯份量十定,豬扒大得嚇人。咬一口豬扒試試,外脆內嫩,還保留了豬扒的肉汁。伴着蔥油ㄧ起吃,出乎意外的合拍,好吃極了。而煎蛋也是流心蛋,金黃色的蛋漿把雞蛋獨有的香味混進飯中,滿心滿足。當我們捧着肚子買單,两個飯餐外加两杯凍飲也是$86元時,那滿足感達到了極致!
