The Goods: A LOT of things to pick from, especially for this price level. Most items are wrapped individually (for hygiene).

Damage: (this is for weekend lunch) We picked the price level of HK$158 (+10% SC), so that's HK$174 per person. This price is all-you-can-eat for 90 minutes. Cheaper than this then you only get one plate of meat. I believe more expensive price at HK$198+10% has seafood & sashimi too.

We always like going for shabu shabu buffet because we like this category of food in general and I know we don't have to spend a fortune to want to have the variety in a-la-cart setting. Having been to multiple (rather affordable priced) shabu buffet places, I think this place is just ok. They have a ton of things to pick from - much more than the similar priced places - but at the same time, a lot of them aren't great. Also having said that, I saw a lot of people ordered the more expensive set, which has better beef and seafood. I don't know about that but I still think I would be better off in a more specialized place (i.e. I don't look to eat seafood in buffet place). In my review here if I recommend anything it'll be underlined.

We (2 persons) ordered a pork bone soup and I'd say I kind of regret ordering that (maybe should've gone for Sukiyaki soup). The pork bone is kind of "meaty", i.e. it smells. It's not that bad to be completely clear, I can still eat it but I would've enjoyed it more if it's not like that. This is my first time experiencing this ordering pork bone soup in buffet restaurants. Not recommended.

We're served with the beginning sliced pork and beef. Maybe I'm imagining this but when we ordered extra pork, they're not the same (more below). They're ...... ok.... taste ok, but pork has slight smell again. But other than that I'm ok with it considering it's buffet.

Self-service section

The first thing that stand out is the giant fridge at the entrance which..... has blue lighting (interesting choice). This fridge has all the meat balls, beef leaf tripe, and fresh egg. I tried quite a number of meat balls and none of them stands out. They has quite a bit of flour in the making (that's my assumption). The 2 things I really like from this fridge are 1) beef tripe, and 2) fresh egg. Usually eggs will cost extra in other restaurants, this one is not.

The fridges opposite to that are all the drinks. They have all the usual fizzy drinks (coke, fanta etc), fruit flavoured drinks, canned tea, and beer. However, I could not go for beer at my pricing (not that I'm complaining I don't drink at lunch anyway). All are quite standard so not much comment here - except that other buffet usually include canned beer even at lower price.

Other self service sections are as below. First picture here are all the dessert & sushi section. You'll notice here and all below that they have covers, which is a good thing during COVID. There are a few desserts but we only tried milk pudding and jelly. They're quite standard. The rest from memory are mochi (2 types). The sushi section is also not bad. Each of them has a lot of rice (which is not so surprising), We tried the beancurd (inari) and salmon sushi which is fine. They also have pickled ginger which is what I like the most in this section. lol.

Below are all vegetables. Which they have Chinese cabbage, watercress, Chinese lettuce, Enoki mushroom, Shitake mushroom, Eryngii mushroom, pumpkin, and sweet corn. Again, they're all quite standard so nothing mush to say here.

All the sauces options are "hotpot" soy sauce (a bit sweet soy sauce), and sesame sauce. The toppings are, chopped coriander, spring onion, garlic, fried garlic, and chillis. The only complaint is they don't have yuzu vinegar lol.

Order section
You'll be given a QR code that you can scan with your phone which will direct to a webpage (no app required). On that page you can pick your order and submit. The one thing worth mention is ..... they do have English option but it leads to the same page (Chinese) lol. There are photos but not all have, so it'll be a bit tough for non-Chinese speakers. I did capture all photos but OpenRice has a limit of photos so I didn't post them here.

The first section is "extras" which I didn't order any because they cost additional money. They're either higher grade beef/pork, or seafood items.

Then it follows by meat options which are included. I did order more of the USA fatty beef and 2 options of pork (USA black pork, and pork belly). Here's the thing; beef came out ok (same as last photo), but pork aren't (see below). They look almost the same even though I am sure I ordered one of each. They also have bone in the middle which is a bit awkward to eat. They also smell a bit. Would not recommend pork here.

Then follows by "tempura"/ deep fried section. I ordered Enoki mushroom tempura, and a fried dumpling. Would not recommend any of these. They have quite a greasy feeling to it. I think the only problem is they pre-prepared and keep for a while. These things when it's left for a while they develop those kind of feeling.

Lastly, it's the Skewer (yakitori) section. I tried shrimp, Enoki bacon wrap, Shishamo (the small fish with eggs inside), fish ball & mochi, chicken wing, and purple sweet potato. I would say my general thoughts on these are that they're pre-made and so by the time they reached out table they're not hot any more. The only exception is the fishball & mochi, and purple sweet potato. If they were  to be freshly made, it would've been much better.

There are some items that I like about this restaurant, but the thing is the main things (beef, pork slices, and soup base) are a bit off. The restaurant is a shabu shabu place, and so that should be the main focus on quality. The rest are just added bonus. Nevertheless, the place is spacious and adequately clean.
