To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

有一段時間沒有空過來,昨天终於有時間,仔仔約我再次過來😁 我地慣例都系約11:30到,我地例牌叫咗桂花黑醋咕嚕肉,呢個我地百吃不厭,尤其是仔仔,佢非常鍾意既其中一道餸😋。然後我地叫一些未試過既小菜 :蝦膏肉碎扒蛋白-估唔到好大碟呀,上菜熱辣辣的,蛋白滑lu lu, 清清地啱晒我。十足小炒王-叫咗走辣,仔仔食唔到辣。估唔到俾既蝦乾大大隻👍,脆米粉腰果好夠脆,材料豐富好食,如果炒得再乾身碟底冇汁仲好,碟底既汁對我來講有些少咸但都可以既。野菌燒汁牛柳粒炒飯-阿仔唔知系咪太肚餓,食咗3碗😂。我最初驚好濃味或好油,我食過果啲燒汁既飯或小菜都系偏咸偏油,有啲陰影,叫呢個飯都系15,16😂最後都系叫咗,阿仔order, 佢鍾意食牛😂。來到估唔到又ok喎,唔咸唔會話好油,飯亦炒得粒粒分明,牛柳粒唔評,因為我唔食牛,但阿仔話OK。😋最後,當然食唔晒,我預咗2個食物盒打包,晚上整少個餸,中午又可以帶飯😋。呢度是小店,廚房得1,2個,加上即叫即煮,上菜是比一般茶餐廳,快餐店慢一些,要有耐心等佢出品,我鍾意每出一個餸熱辣辣的😁。如果唔等得既,冇耐性冇時間等就去快餐店或2餸飯啦....最後,食埋個冰涼腐竹薏米糖水😁佢地既糖水一啲都唔甜,味道好啱我,每次都會唔同款,每次食完糖水,整餐飯好滿足😋👍 continue reading

通常先出第一個餸需要約10分鐘至15分鐘。之後佢地會故意拖延至少等45分鐘至一個鐘。如果你催促店員,佢會問你想點,而唔係幫你入廚房跟進。甚至有時佢地專登唔催促廚房,可能知道無用。如果你見到餐堂大約有一半換咗你就要預左過半鐘左右先至出得齊所有餸。 continue reading

[ 尖沙咀港仔大排檔 | 石塘咀 ]Came down from visiting HKU for dinner. Not a lot of options to choose from around Westwood, mostly just coffee shops. But stubbled onto this indoor dai pai dong. We came early around 6:30 and luckily we were able to get a seat even though most were already reserved. We thought this meant they would be serving good food (spoiler alert: they do not). We ordered around 6:45 and the first dish came at 7:30, then each dish afterwards took 10 minutes more respectively. There is only 2 waiters for this small restaurant. 茶錢 is $10 per person. But they only have 3 options. 鐵觀音,普里 and another one. —— —— 豉油皇老虎蝦 $188The photo looked promising but this was the most disappointing dish. 5 small and shrunken pieces of tiger prawns. The sauce is supposed to be addicting but this was not, it was good but not what I expected. Not very intense and rich but rather mild and lackluster. The prawn shells is covered in sauce which is nice for sucking the sauce. The head is supposed to be filled with delicious, creamy 蝦膏 but sadly this was not fresh and cleaned properly which resulted in a fishy taste (not the good kind!) The flesh is also a tad bit dry but size at least is not tiny, still acceptable. Very bland taste so need to eat with the onions for a decent bite. The sautéed onions is very crunchy with great wok hei.—— —— 時菜:蝦醬通菜 $82Can choose between fermented tofu (腐乳), shrimp paste (蝦醬) or XO醬 for seasonal vegetables. This was actually good. The stems of the morning glory is crunchy and the leaves are tender. Both with great wok hei where it is glossy but not oily/greasy. The shrimp paste is also very savory and not salty. The portion though is quite small for this price. —— —— 茄子炆䱽魚 $98 A decent dish. The pomfret is not only small but not fresh too. Which resulted in dry flesh and tough skin. On the other hand the sauce is absolutely delicious. Great on its own with rice ($10) and with the fish. Wished they had more. The eggplants too are fried beforehand to maintain it’s shape and it’s delicious after braised in the sauce. Sadly, there are only 6-7 pieces. The sautéed onions here too are so tasty in the sauce. —— —— 自家製黑白芝麻炸豆腐 $80 Do not get the appeal at all. Both of the tofu is bland and flavorless. The exterior also tastes like bread which meant they didn’t use any particular skill to get a thin coating. The sweet chilli sauce normally seen in Thai cuisine does give it flavor but only the flavor of sweet chilli. Maybe they should serve with black vinegar to bring out the tofu. I recommend eating this with the sauce from the braised eggplant and pomfret if you do get it or another dish with a great sauce as it’s extremely bland. —— —— 糖水:紅豆沙Complimentary with each dinner dish. Never had red bean soup served cold before which is interesting. The taste is not too sweet and the consistency is quite thin but still somehow flavorful. I like the generous amount of red bean and taro as well which is delicious and not bland. Not a bad portion for complimentary dessert. Glad to be ending tonight on a high note. —— —— 推介 🙅🏻‍♀️💬 Overall, not a great dining experience. Their vegetables in dishes are so much better than their meat dishes. I don’t get why they have so many reservations, probably because there is not a lot of restaurants nearby. The time taken to serve food also needs a lot of improvement. None of the dishes were served together which should not be a trait for dai pai dongs. Maybe we tried the wrong dishes but it can’t be a coincidence that nothing was memorable. 🗓 Revisit? ✅ / ❎ ⭕️ continue reading

地理位置非常唔錯,B2口一出來往後邊20米就係午市營業到3點,晚市6點開始,但係openrice冇講清楚,我同朋友三點過來未營業,但係又想嚐嚐看,所以晚市六點半又來了,店內客唔多,唔使排隊,環境都唔錯,一開始有啲擔心係唔係唔好食,但係食完覺得都唔錯。份量比其它大排檔多,兩個人點三個菜根本吃不完,比隔壁楚撚記良心質素ok,牛做得唔錯,熏雞我自己唔鍾意甜味,我朋友覺得ok,豬耳切得好大塊,份量也很大,總體唔錯 continue reading
