To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 2084 表代什麼?四個位的數字直接讓我聯想到年份!早五、六、七年,我會對某些年份有著期盼,近年灰到一個點,灰到再不想年份背後的意義了!灰還灰,行完山抵達的西貢,有家餐廳名為 「2084」,2084 不是比王家偉的 2046 還要遠,救命啊!雖然說「2084」救了我一命有點誇張,不過他真的讓我尋回素食的快樂,應該是自「心齋」結束後,我暫時仍未找到滿足的素食餐廳才對! 你或會說西與中不能相題並論呀,對的,我承認自已偏愛中式素食,再者中西素食有著大不同,可是 「2084」的戶外用餐環境,平易近人的餐酒、合理的收費,以至自然簡單的組合,在紛擾複雜的社會中,確實來得單純可親,這就是他為我帶來對素食點點希新望,下次定會再訪的原因!沒有深究餐牌,可能戶外的用餐環境變成我的主角了,就讓那位爽朗的外籍年輕女侍應給我們介紹,最後再由老公敲定!講到最令老公開心的,一定是這支 Pinot Grigio HK$130 莫屬,試回憶有哪家餐廳的 Wine List 上有百多元的餐酒,酒水一向是食肆最賺錢的一環,所以說 「2084」的餐酒收費是相當平易近人,加上味道並不差,最後我們開心地喝了兩支,爽呀!來到食物,先來的是 Gimmari HK$75。簡單來說 Gimmari 是炸紫菜卷,內饀用上粉絲和紅蘿蔔!炸漿酥鬆、乾爽不油,外脆內軟彈,蘸點酸甜燒雞醬作提味,感受簡單的美!接著是 Momos HK$75。雖然這尼泊爾餃子沒有肉餃的肉香,但焦香細薄的餃皮,依然多汁味足的素餡料,不用沾醬也好吃,讓人感受到 Momos 另一面的溫柔!最後我們試了 Meatball Tacos HK$95。Taco 並不是我們想像中的粟米薄脆,而是在有點像北京填鴨的餅皮,餅皮放上植物肉丸和醬汁,感覺也不錯,只是醬汁偏甜,不是我們預期帶著辣度的惹味!去洗手間時才發現餐廳內掛著的特別介紹,當中的 Gimmari 便是我們吃過的炸紫菜卷,下次再訪必然會留意一番!願我可花足一生和你甜蜜再走到一百歲那誌慶場合用幾代韻律再聽一遍 動盪時日當氣候在震 大氣層重生無論共我在哪星體都可接一吻

近這一陣子,西貢公園仔的西餐廳又出現一個新名字了。這餐廳很簡單,就叫做《2084》。我們起初都不太在意,因像這樣的西餐廳,在西貢墟內到處可見,對我們一家人來說,並不新奇。直至有一天,我同太太想係西貢食個靚午餐,當我發現《2084》有素食 menu 就連忙叫太太前來,之後,店員更說,vegan,everything are vegan, all vegan! 我們再細心看看門口的 menu,這餐廳真的是 100% 純蔬食啊! 咁好,當然要來開心食一餐啦。《2084》既 setting 其實是一間 tapas,日頭,就比較似一間 Bistro 仔,有午餐,有咖啡飲料。坐得舒舒服服,令人開心。午餐 menu 中,其中一個吸引的餐,是 Sri Lankan Daal and Rice。這一個咖喱,只有 lentils 豆同飯,是一個非常簡單,非常南亞的一個的一個簡餐。味道算是幾好,但成個咖喱水汪汪,咖喱內的 lentils 豆又寥寥可數,倒扣了分數。我看中的,是素食版的 Fish and Chips,所謂的素食魚,就是近日新推出的 omni fish (新魚柳)。新魚柳的確有魚的口感同味道,點一點 "打他汁" (Tartar Sauce),味感同口感更似。鮮切的薯條,炸出來更香天有薯感,也是非常之好味道。飲品,我要了一杯 Long Black。即磨的咖啡,香噴噴的。入口甘香,令我覺得,來這兒淨歎咖啡,都是一件好事。這一餐,絕對是一個驚喜,原因一,我們從來沒想過這是一間 vegan 餐廳;原因二,新魚柳好食,素食版本的 Fish and Chips 絕對是可以給個大讚;原因三,就很簡單,好味道亦令我們吃得很開心。

本身以為西貢係一個容易D搵到pet-friendly 嘅餐廳🙈但係行咗好幾間嘅戶外位都幾唔理想😿多數都好窄或者好細張枱 🤌🏻又或者唔開放室外嘅位置🙅🏽♂️我哋隻狗狗又比較大隻🐕所以好多都唔係咁pet friendly 行行下終於見到呢間2️⃣0️⃣8️⃣4️⃣佢哋嘅戶外位都好寬敞而且又有太陽傘同埋風扇!🌬所以我哋冇乜點諗就已經坐低咗!佢哋係一間素食嘅餐廳🌱但係佢哋嘅選擇都有好多!我哋都比較肚餓 所以就叫一人叫咗份咖喱🍛MEATBALL w/ ROSE HARISSA $70 / $105meatballs w a spicy smoked sauce 🌶素肉丸配紅咖哩🌶價錢只係大份同細份嘅分別💰不過個人覺得大份細份其實都差唔多份量😂🧆Meatball係炸過嘅 所以外面好脆💥食落嘅質感有少少似漢堡扒覺得佢個醬汁偏酸 好似落咗香料嘅茄汁咁~但係原來呢個ROSE HARISSA係用幾種唔同嘅辣椒蒜泥香料等等整成嘅~ 覺得味道都幾特別 撈飯好好食!😋😋🤍我嗰份就加咗$40要椰菜花飯就係正常打碎左嘅椰菜花中間再加少少香料唔好以為食菜就唔夠飽❕其實食哂都超級飽🤰🏻都係比飯貴十蚊~FISH KORMA $55 / $90fishless fillets w coconut cream, onion, tomato & cashew sauce 🐟素魚扒咖喱🐟Korma係用優格或鮮奶油、洋蔥、大蒜同各種香料整嘅 食落就會creamy 啲 同温和啲🔅呢個炸魚柳都係炸過嘅~食呢個口感真係同真嘅魚柳9️⃣8️⃣%似!食落真係覺得好神奇🤣呢個就跟咗個THAI RICE +$30即係同平時食嘅白飯冇分別~ 澱粉質愛好者叫嚟送汁就啱哂啦!😍

昨天一行9人出海完畢找地方晚飯, 我們當中一半是佛教徒, 佛教徒是不吃五辛的, 落單時是一位年輕男待應, 初時算有禮, 但當我們問及某些菜式可否走葱蒜洋蔥時, 他說可以, 數分鐘後說原來有些食材一早已加洋蔥, 那我們當然不意外, 因為好明白的, 亦不是第一次, 那我們問他有沒有其他選擇或recommendation, 他竟回答不知道, 還說雖然有洋蔥但是食不出洋蔥味, 我們說唔OK啊, 我們見他說廣東話不太好, 以為他不太了解, 於是派我們的英文母語人與他溝通, 告訴他不吃五辛是宗教原因, 他竟然再問, " I know but why though?" 其實幾無禮兼無知, 需知素食的人有各種不同原因或習性, 各式各樣, 打正旗號做素食餐廳無論老板及員工都應尊重素食者的practice, 沒有judgement, 只要看看能否配合到客人要求, 大家只想開心吃飯, 不是要為難什麼, 這款吃不了咪吃另一款, 況且宗教原因有時不是三言兩語就解釋得清楚, 食飯變咗上佛學班><後來有一個女印度人看似是老闆的給我們講了幾句做了一個餸菜畀我們, 我們好感恩, 不過至於其他的餸菜有幾樣都係有出錯, 不過我們也算了, 沒再出聲。真心在西貢找到素食餐廳好開心, 亦好珍惜香港的素食餐廳, 因為香港做素食不容易, 所以希望2084繼續下去, 多啲客人幫襯, 其實味道不錯的, 如果員工能夠對素食知識多一點那就好了。

My wife ordered a humous mezo dish at lunchtime, but we recieved such a tiny amount of humous that it felt like an insult. We complained and asked for a fair portion, but were told that we would be charged an extra 20hkd for it (very petty of them). We complained again and eventually got another bowl of humous, but when we checked the bill afterwards found that we had been charged for the second bowl - again very petty. We complained that this had been added and they agreed not to charge, but we still felt that they had tried to rip us off, and over such a small amount of money, which is very disapointing and left us with a bitter taste. Don't think we'll be going back there, which is a shame as the food is pretty good.
