有時食嘢除左係食個味道之外,其實個氣氛都幾重要,呢間餐廳喺呢度我諗冇10年都有八年,我途中食過大概三次左右,當今次係第四次啦,印象中嘅味道唔係話十分之突出,但係食物款式係比較特別。今日我冇揀到呢度最出名嘅菜式,例如炸豬手或者墨魚麵,反而揀咗啲我之前冇食過嘅餸。包括鴨汁荷葉飯,泰式奶油大蝦,芋頭蟹,花雕醉雞煲,黃金蠔同埋粟米肉粒羹。由最簡單嘅粟米肉粒羹,講起其實味道就冇乜特別,係普通嘅味道,但就偏鹹。泰式奶油大蝦食落去嘅就似泰式紅咖喱味道,唔辣,奶油味重,椰味重,大蝦就應該係用咗大頭蝦。肉質都算爽口,係圓身形嘅大頭蝦。另外配嘅豬仔包,比個主菜更加好味,熱辣辣,外脆內軟,小小汁食更好。呢個芋頭蟹都係時價,問咗係膏蟹,係一隻一隻計,咁我哋呢一隻就有一斤半,價錢係$550,其實價錢係貴左啲,但係又想試吓芋頭蟹究竟係乜嘢味道。咁佢嘅味道就係鹹芋頭味同埋蠟味比較重,芋頭就已經煮到好軟,如果想搵一件件嘅芋頭來食,你就只有兩三舊。大部份都係芋蓉,一般仲加左啲潤腸同埋臘腸嘅粒粒,所以佢哋嘅味道都比較重。老闆介紹一定要用佢嗰塊脆多士點上黎食,咁樣食落去又唔會制,又食到唒d芋蓉。佢呢個膏蟹嘅膏尚算好多,係硬身的。芋蓉入邊會有好多膏跌左出嚟,所以一定要食埋佢啲芋蓉,唔好浪費。至於呢個花雕雞,係有半隻雞,不過都幾大隻,另外仲有十幾粒雞子。隻雞已經預先淹左,所以會有淡淡的酒香。佢嘅花雕湯底有好多藥材,如果啱啱開始飲個湯就會覺得只有藥香,唔夠味,唔係咁好,但係當啲雞滾得耐,去到尾聲嘅時候,成個湯就會變到好好飲,飲完就熱辣辣。佢個鴨汁荷葉飯味道就好似普通蒸飯咁樣,唔太特別。但啲飯就整到好淋,好有荷葉嘅香。平時食咩就食黃金鮮魷同埋黃金蝦比較多,今次就試吓呢一個黃金蠔。雖然係用普通嘅生蠔,但係炸出嚟外面嘅黃金完全包住左隻生蠔,咬落去又鮮味。另外俾咗生菜你包住嚟食,減輕油嘅感覺,唔會覺得好漏。我地一路食一路研究緊,究竟呢度點解每一晚都咁多人,究竟係因為買咗廣告呀,定真係咁好食。到最後見到老闆行過嚟同你飲酒,然後又表演跳舞又叫大家一齊影相,好識製造氣氛,種感覺係樂也融融的感覺,同每一枱都甘fd,真係抵老闆賺。 continue reading

如果一大班朋友去食飯,最好就揀d可以坐到成圍人既地方去食,炒小菜就最好不過了,揀左去北角市政大廈度食晚餐,上到去食東寶,唔洗等位好快坐低左,而家呢個市政大廈好多外國遊客黎食,佢地自己會搵個area播歌,好好氣氛。叫左七個小菜,十四碗白飯,椒鹽尤魚鬆脆可口,唔會太油又唔會炸得太乾身,炸粉唔會太厚。黑椒薯仔牛柳粒最正最惹味係佢個黑椒味,有少少辣,薯仔好林身但唔會太溶,反而咬落好有口感,牛肉粒大大粒,但唔硬身,送飯一流。魚香茄子煲一擺低係枱面上,已經聞落好香,出晒煙熱辣辣,成個魚香茄子醬好好味,唔會太咸又唔會太淡。豉油皇炒面面質彈牙,d面應該經過冷河所以先會特別彈牙,豉油都好均勻咁佈滿晒係所有炒面之上,唔錯。啫啫雞煲本身我個人唔食豬潤,但呢個雞煲整得好好味,尤其是d豬潤,好入味,令到我食左好多豬潤,d雞件好惹味又唔乾身,朋友撈左2碗飯食。京都豬扒茄汁酸味岩岩好,配落d新鮮豬扒度好夾,炒得好香口,豬扒唔會太多骨,反而佢肉多。咸蛋蒸豬肉咸蛋唔會話太咸,呢款菜送飯都幾開胃。 continue reading

數年前曾食過一次,由於是阿頭請,所以無留意價錢;但印象中都只係一般,雖然果時已好出名。上星期五,約了朋友在北角食飯,本來諗住去鰂魚涌「源興」,但現場太多人無 book 位而告吹;朋友唔想食連鎖店,最後諗住呢間好耐無試,朋友又未食過,就比個機會佢。點知呢啲機會,真係唔值得比!當晚上到去,都知禮拜五多人,要等位;無問題,好快就有檯,雖然係四、五 pair 人安排坐一張大檯,但真係預咗,唔難過。至於環境,以街市嚟講,真係好乾淨衛生,亦係今次最滿意的地方。跟住點菜,左摷右摷,可能眼花,唔見那個著名的甚麼「墨汁魷魚」,問店員,立即話有;然後加個「鹹魚煎肉餅配豬仔包」,印象中好似$118定$138;最後又係點個餐牌無嘅,但全世界食店都應該適做嘅「清炒蒜容白菜」,心諗幾個菜,唔駛三百蚊掛。之後菜陸續送上,評價如下:墨汁魷魚--無乜味,鹹鹹地,絕無驚喜;鹹魚煎肉餅配豬仔包--肉餅煎得還可,但鹹魚香味就唔覺,豬仔包放一陣就好硬,咬唔開!跟碟嘅芥辣太辣,亦唔覺夾;清炒蒜容白菜--味淡,唔香口,不特別;最後埋單,盛惠 $361!我差啲以為睇錯!食咗幾碟菜,咁嘅環境、咁嘅味道,要收我 $361!只能講一句物非所值,其他粉絲繼續熱捧無所謂,我本人,打死都唔會再去!免費都係咁話,若有人請,會勸人諗諗食第二間好過! continue reading

近幾年的我嘅生日飯都喜歡同一班好同事去東寶聚聚兼吹水。「東寶」呢個名已經成為吹水飯局的指定食店!每次去到望住餐牌都會諗到頭都大,因為樣樣都好想食,好在老闆推介左一啲必食菜式,解決左我地嘅選擇困難症!飯前小食先黎一碟梅菜茄子同青瓜魷魚沙律。呢個沙律好清新,混有有些少芥末味。老闆又推介粉絲蝦煲,粉絲食落微辣又爽口,非常惹味!另一味就係令我呢個唔鐘意食蠔嘅人都會愛上的黃金炸生蠔。金黃嘅咸蛋黃包住大大隻生蠔,再用新鮮大塊嘅生菜包住黎食,個種感覺簡直難以用文字去形容,一定要親身試下。最後要講下我地今次飯局必食--瀨尿蝦。大大隻又啖啖肉,老闆仲親自埋黎教點樣扭兩扭就可以將瀨尿蝦食得乾乾淨淨!東寶--我會再黎架! continue reading

出名黎試下,打開餐牌見到每樣小菜過100蚊碟,星洲炒米盛惠$118,未想像過市政大樓既大牌檔可以貴成咁,環境迫夾,服務態度好差,叫左啤酒未飲完都照執台,收茶壺,擺明趕你走,張單有唔清楚既地方,想問清楚都唔係好想答你,好無奈還要俾5% service charge, 味道OK好味,但香港人應該有更多更好既選擇,唔洗幫襯佢。 continue reading
