十年前第一次去 覺得菜品質素不錯,價錢算合理,雖然環境麻麻。5年前再去,價錢已經開始貴,但環境、服務一樣咁求奇,OK我都明,大排檔不能要求太多。今日同幾個朋友再去,打開餐牌一睇價格已經令人O 晒嘴!同黃金地段的高級酒樓、甚至私房菜有得比拼!然而菜式的質素無驚喜、份量也很一般,服務、環境亦同幾年前亦無異。大概9 點幾,食客都食到7788時,突然放音樂,音量開到震天響,嘈過disco , 完全聽唔到對方講野..... 唔知為乜...今歺點的都係普通菜式,買單$300+ 一位。如果呢個價錢,其實隨便都可以搵到一間無論菜品質素、服務、環境都好十倍的餐廳。 continue reading

Lotus rice, oysters cooked in port, bok choy with xo sauce washed down with hot iron Buddha tea. That's a good Cantonese meal! The food is good and the big tables full of friends and families drinking beer out of bowls along with the charm of the wet market atmosphere is something tourists and locals alike can enjoy. The menu is in English and Chinese making it convenient to order. There's really only one downside to all of this Cantonese goodness: its very expensive. Budget conscious local diners know they can get similar dishes and quality at the Happy Valley wet market for a lot less money. I gave this place 5 stars for decor. The dilapidated decor is really part of the experience. The place is dirty and I don't think that contributes to the experience. continue reading

點了三個菜,尖椒炒雞什、豉椒炒蜆、一口羊(青菜要$80一碟,所以沒有點。之後才醒覺也沒點招牌菜 -- 風沙雞),加上一支啤酒,兩碗飯,還有服務費,兩個人吃個飯被收取$528,熟食市場而已,不會再幫襯的了。尖椒炒雞什味道比較淡,辣道適中,最平宜,份量反而最多。豉椒炒蜆,除了豆豉,還加上麵豉醬,所以很夠味,要挑剔的話,豆豉跟麵豉醬始終是兩種味道,蜆算得大隻以及新鮮,可惜沒幾隻就要$168,性價比低。一口羊,即是酥炸羊肉粒加上芥末醬,我個人覺得味道很不錯,相比炒蜆,還算可以。。。普通白飯要$15一碗。。。這裡有兩個特式,用碗飲啤酒以及播放音樂。但音效實在太差,坐在遠離喇叭位置,只感到嘈吵,當途經喇叭時,那種強勁低音打入胸口的感覺,實在很不舒服,只能為坐在喇叭附近的食客感到難過。。。 continue reading

閒日晚上七時,4條友行咗嚟喱度食飯,曾在大排檔界 享譽盛名的東寶,是否水準依舊呢人流算是多,七點半後來到的食客,需要在外等候安排入坐,好彩我們較早來,無須等位侍應普遍快手快腳,唔見有慢人,而且仲有一位專門負責𢴇骨,只要你碟有骨,他便會出現幫忙更換碟子或把骨頭清走開始時,點了個冷盤"青瓜芥末魷魚"芥末味十足,青瓜清涼,夏天佳品,魷魚爽及彈牙接著,點了魚、蝦、蟹,全都是時價"黃金蝦"金黃咸蛋蓉把走油的蝦包著咸蛋黃味道無得輸,而且大蝦夠脆口又接著,點了一些拿手小菜"綠茶豆腐"外脆內滑的豆腐,跟了個芡汁一啖咬落去,見到入面豆腐淺綠色,都幾靚嫁食到咁上下忽然炸機,播出狂勁音樂其實大排檔已經夠嘈,唔會預咗佢靜呢種自然嘈視為熱鬧,但忽然炸機...呢D叫嘈到拆天,仲有條友表演一字馬究竟咩樹呢?食飯有表演睇...(無興趣)原本高高興興吹水食飯,被炸機破壞了為保護聽覺,最後急腳埋單走人埋單先發現呢度食嘢都幾貴 continue reading

慕名而来,排队肯定的…还好很快落座,看菜牌吓一跳,因为老婆出门只带了500元(大排档而已,两人吃几多呢?)没办法硬着头皮点了三个菜两瓶啤酒一碗白饭,最后买单426…都是百来元的菜品没敢点贵的…椒盐骨还可以,姜葱鱼腩,平平过不是很好,苦瓜还不错,本想给负分,因为这个菜,拉回了好印象…综合来说是性价比根本不够高…不值得排队等候。吃完和老婆散步去炮台山吃福元,算是满足了。 continue reading
