看見中文名字為名古屋料理,心中有點嘀咕,到底何謂名古屋料理?根據筆者淺見,日本的縣市並沒有各自獨特口味的地道料理;雖然某些縣市的確會有一些獨特而又地區化的美食或小吃,但又實在不足以稱之為「XX地區料理」。筆者認為「鳥羽」只有兩樣東西和名古屋有關。第一,名字與名古屋附近一個小城市的名字相同;第二,其中兩款馳名出品手羽先(即是雞翼尖)及日式鰻魚飯,皆是名古屋市的馳名料理,這裏更加可能是香港第一間餐廳烹調名古屋人氣美食手羽先,較名古屋的人氣連鎖店「世界の山ちゃん」進駐香港的時間還要早差不多五年。再翻查一下資料,原來餐廳真的是來自日本,在東京還有一間同名的關連總店;但兩間店其實都算是日式居酒屋,供應的日本料理菜式類型相當廣泛,翻查一下晚餐餐牌,刺身、壽司、串燒、天婦羅、一品料理等等全部都有供應。餐廳位於銅鑼灣著名的銀座式飲食大廈「駱克駅」。這棟大廈內的高樓層餐廳,由於樓面面積較細,全部都是一間餐廳佔據兩層、兼有內部樓梯貫穿上下兩層,「鳥羽」也沒有例外。設計採用了極深啡色木紋皮為主題色調、四邊牆壁的下半截用上了同色系的木皮板作為裝飾、天花板塗上全黑色,再加上木枱木椅及較為暗淡的燈光,尤其那一趟連通上下兩層的樓梯更用上了仿木欄杆;整體裝修佈局活脱就是一間上百年歷史、兼有兩層樓的木建築日本料理老店。相似程度比起較早前曾經光顧的另一間日式庶民版串燒爐端燒店更勝一籌。餐廳內部樓梯的中空位置,牆壁上掛了一幅雞腳圖案,隱喻餐廳名字「鳥」(日語漢字「鳥」解作「雞」)及招牌菜式手羽先。午市定食共有十款選擇,全部包括沙律、麵豉湯及甜品,三人以上同行兼各點一個午市定食套餐,甚至免收加一服務費!估計這個優惠只限於星期六日辦公室不用上班的日子,如果星期一至五有這個優惠,餐廳會少了一個賺錢的機會,太不合理了。麵豉湯沒有驚喜。日式沙律表面有幾粒三文魚碎,算是有些變化,但所採用的沙律菜的苦澀味實在太重,又沒有加入合適份量的柚子醋調味,吃了三分之一就放棄。揀了一會才找到一個適合小女兒食的定食七味燒鱸魚定食($138),由於七味粉的味道太過刺激,不太適合小朋友,所以要求餐廳完全不添加任何七味粉,燒烤時只添加一些海鹽就可以了。肉質嫩滑,但始終是鱸魚,魚味唔係好明顯。雜錦刺身拼牛肉生羗燒定食($168)的刺身份量比預期中多,甜蝦、三文魚、油甘、帆立貝各兩片,還有一小份海膽。刺身質素算合格,顏色鮮明,仍然保持魚肉彈性及黏性,但溫度太凍,影響了魚鮮。一件壽司或刺身的溫度應該盡量接近室温,但很多中下價港式日本料理或質素較低的迴轉壽司店,為了保障食材不會變壞,刺身肯定會長期放在温度偏低的雪櫃內,揑壽司之前又不會預留時間待食材溫度回到室温。本來預期「鳥羽」這種中上價錢的日式居酒屋,加上還有日本總店,刺身壽司在食材溫度的基本層面會處理得較好,結果有所失望。採用普通級數美國肥牛,雖然說是生薑燒,但薑汁味道並不明顯,反而洋蔥份量相當多,再加上一貫偏甜的日式醬汁,實在和一碗「吉野家」牛丼沒有太大分別,只是牛肉質素稍為好一點點、賣相又好一點點。是日甜品為椰子奶凍,一個甚少在餐廳吃到的甜品。椰子味道香濃,本身已經有天然的椰糖甜味,而且,椰子這種熱帶生果又相當適合九月份的香港炎炎夏日,有新鮮感!這個價錢的日式午市定食,雖然已經較銅鑼灣的高級鮨店便宜了一大截;但同區實在還有很多其他日式及韓式、價錢定位又差不多在同一水平的餐廳,若想在午市時段突圍而出、壓倒其他同級日韓系餐廳,一定要再努力。 continue reading

今日完成左一個大project, 想一個人食好d,所以揀左朋友推介既呢間日本餐廳!我諗都冇諗就叫左個佢最出名既鰻魚飯三食,沖茶漬嘅食法比較特別而個鰻魚外脆內軟,一d都唔腥,個醬油都好香,真係似係日本食到既水準,份量又多!真係必食之選,埋單三百幾,下次想奬勵自己,一定會再黎呀! continue reading

This place is so good, taste like Japan !Recommended by a trusted foodie colleague of mine so came for a lunch for two on a weekday.Ordered the Unadon lunch set along with 5 pieces chicken wings (2 sweet soy flavoured 3 salt flavoured)and the deep fried tofu onsen egg. All of which are their signatures.Words cannot describe how satisfy we were with their Unadon Grilled just fine with crispy skin and juicy meat, it is heaven together along with the una sauce on rice. You can enjoy the unadon 3 ways - alone by itself ,mix with wasabi and seaweed or pour soup over rice from the teapot (soup pot). I personally like itself with wasabi and seaweed while the bf prefers the soup rice method.The chicken wings were also surprisingly tasty. The flavouring they used was quite different from many rest of the jap restaurant out there. Definitely another must tryOnsen egg was also great but my best is still unadon and chickenwings Both just as wonderful. The set also came with chocolate or tofu pudding. Again, both delicious. (I like the tofu more as I'm not a huge chocolate fan).The price seems bit expensive for a lunch set but the satisfaction from the quality of their food afterwards is all worth it.I am so happy to have found this restaurant, another fav to add to my list. 因為好鐘意食日式的炸雞翼,所以星期六去食午餐試下,叫左set lunch的鰻魚飯,二人剌身set, 手羽唐揚五隻,腐皮溫泉蛋,同小食雞泡魚乾。雞泡魚乾來貨高質,唔係一般死硬魚乾,滿意。腐皮溫泉蛋都幾有新鮮感。唔錯。剌身有點貴但款式多,有六種而且新鮮,海膽同蝦夠份量同鮮甜,滿意鰻魚飯好好食,個魚好好味,連一向嫌棄鰻魚有陣泥味的老公都話燒得好香,有鰻魚油脂味但無泥味,份量足夠兩個人share,lunch set 百幾蚊個人覺得超值。係個湯太咸。係個甜品有點貴,係硬到筆唔到的水果啫喱,求其筆左啲生果食就算。食得好滿意,服務都好好。因為嗌左剌身係有點少貴。 continue reading
